Cipher S7 Weekly Recap: New Reveals & Text-Free Artwork!

Last weekend’s Fire Emblem Cipher livestream showed off a lot of new cards and generated much excitement for the upcoming Series 7. The @FECipher twitter has been keeping the buzz and excitement going with more card reveals, capping off the week with this beautiful SR card for Hector from Blazing Sword.

Other cards revealed this week include Falcon Knight Hinoka, Kinshi Knight Setsuna, and Master of Arms Hana from Fire Emblem Fates, as well Druid Canas and both a Myrmidon and Swordmaster version of Lloyd of the Four Fangs from Blazing Sword. Lloyd is an interesting choice for a villain SR card, but not very surprising considering his popularity.

With the reveal of Hinoka’s SR, the Royal Panorama has now grown to become six cards long! Takumi’s and Sakura’s SR cards will complete the full set, and they will likely be revealed in the coming weeks.

In addition to the card reveals, a few different card shops in Japan have released promotional, text-free images of some of the artwork used in the S7 cards. Much of this art has already been revealed previously, but some of it is new, and it’s wonderful to be able to see the art without text regardless.

For Blazing Sword, we have artwork of Eliwood, Hector, Lyn, Matthew, Rebecca, Canas, and Nino. Thanks to some previous card reveals, we know that the Eliwood, Hector, Lyn, and Canas artworks will be used for their unpromoted cards, and that’s likely the case for the remaining characters as well.

For Fates, we have dual artwork of King Xander and King Ryoma together, as well as artwork for Hinoka, Takumi, Sakura, Hana, Scarlet, and Shiro. Ryoma’s, Hana’s, and Shiro’s artwork showcase their promoted forms, while the rest are likely unpromoted.
