Cipher S7 Weekly Recap: Daily Cards & Booster Box Goodies!

We’re another week closer to the release of Series 7 of Fire Emblem Cipher, and the reveals and previews keep coming in! The very last card showcased on the official @FECipher twitter today reveals the final Hoshidan sibling SR card from Fire Emblem Fates: Onmyoji Sakura!

With this reveal, we can now finally see the entire Royal Panarama artwork in all of its glory. Quite a stunning piece of artwork!

Other cards revealed this week include two cards for Subaki from Fates, both promoted and unpromoted, and also an R foil card for Jaffar from Blazing Sword. The final card revealed this week is a spoiler for the Revelation path of Fates, so I won’t be showing it openly, but you can click here to view it.

In addition to the twitter reveals, the official Cipher website updated this week with some more information about the upcoming booster box release, showing images of all of the goodies that will be included! Each S7 booster box will contain three types of items, randomly selected from two possible options.

This set’s promotional sleeves feature either the boxart from Blazing Sword or art of Azura that was used as the cover art for the Fates OST. Each pack contains five sleeves.

The preview promo cards for Series 8 give us our first look at Seliph, and also confirm that Chrom will be focused as the main Awakening character for S8. Both of these cards use the character’s official artwork, but they will be reprinted in S8 itself with new artwork just for Cipher.

New for S7, booster boxes will also be including holo marker cards. Marker cards are used in Cipher gameplay to designate your deck’s MC. Previously marker cards have been given out at tournaments or other events, but these are the first ones that are given out in booster boxes, and also the first one to have a holographic finish!

The Christmas Camilla artwork was originally used in promotional card given away to attendees of the Cipher Comiket89 booth last year. The Marth artwork was originally used for a promotional card included in the 25th Anniversary Concert DVD.

Cipher Series 7 will release in less than two weeks on December 8th! We’ll continue sharing new cards and artwork as they’re released in the meantime.
