Characters automatically learn new skills as they Level Up in a class.

Unlike in Awakening, so long as the character’s Level is equal to or higher than the Level required for the skill, they will learn that skill when they next Level Up (but only one skill per Level Up, with priority to the earlier skill).

This even extends to skills from the base version of the character’s current class, if they are promoted. For example, if a character Levels Up as a Swordmaster, they will gain Samurai skills if they didn’t already have them.

Purchasing Skills: You can buy skills from guest characters (after a Castle battle or from your Logbook) and teach them to the same character in your party. Skills with no cost cannot be purchased.

Notes:

  • It is possible to acquire Hoshidan classes in the Nohr campaign and vice versa.
  • The costs listed are the base values; the actual costs can be significantly higher, depending on various factors.

*1 Enemy debuff: Debuffs do not stack, but can be combined with other debuffs (when the same stat is targeted, the larger effect takes priority). Stats recover by 1 each Turn.
