What games or categories do you think still have unexplored potential?

This is somewhat of a general question, and doesn't pertain to everyone, but how far do you think LTC pioneers have gone for most of the games in the series? Speaking as a relative newcomer, my impression is that the majority of the series has been mostly figured out when it comes to raw efficiency in complete recruitment/no deaths @ hardest standard difficulty, utilising all resources the game provides. Obviously improvements can continue to be made but they're typically more along the line of turn shaving here and there as opposed to some kind of revelation that cuts TC drastically across the game. Or do you think there are avenues that are still underexplored within these games?

Or, to pose another question, there are still other categories. The most well known is probably 0% growth LTC, but is there any particular category you think is potentially interesting and unrepresented? I'd be somewhat interested in seeing what happens in FE9 when BEXP is banned or heavily limited for example. Part of my curiosity on this subject is because I'm tentatively interested in attempting a proper LTC or efficiency run at some point in the future, or at least practicing, but I have no idea what to even focus on.

I don't think efficient clears of FE13 Lunatic plus have been done much, but trying to ltc that would be very annoying to say the least. Otherwise in most games you'd probably just shave a few turns here and there, since they all have quite good strategies already that may or may not be improvable. If you wanted to do something unique you could probably take a spin at Gaiden or FE3, but those games are really slow paced. To the best of my knowledge nobody has tried to get seriously low turn counts on 0% growths in FE4 (while I was experimenting I couldn't find any resources on it), but I can't think of much else. Another option is always to set challenges for yourself in the games you prefer though. Most foot soldiers/all low tier unit clears will be unexplored territory, so that could be something cool to do.

Definitely FE13. But that is due to a lack of interest I would assume. Interceptor finally came up with a solid clear for chapter 2. Also due to the fact that Lunatic+ isn't static.

Horace and I clocked fe11 warpless at like 132 or 133 turns, I think

Other than getting some wild crits early on, I'm pretty sure 132 is the warpless minimum.

honestly i don't think fe7 has been done very well at all in general, hopefully i'll fix that with my playthrough

also just a normal ltc of fe6? I forget if Espinosa's was all units or just girls only.

I think somebody (Mekkah?) did an fe4 0% run ages ago, don't remember if it was ltc or efficient though, might have just been clearing it.

I think its possible to improve on all games currently completed, IIRC my unfinished clear of FE8 cuts something like 12 turns off my old 83 turn clear which I thought was pretty good at the time.

EDIT: Has anyone actually done an fe3 ltc? It's vastly different from FE12.

Espinosa has a regular FE6 LTC but she didn't complete it IIRC.

One of the other things I've been looking at is possibly messing around with Hexator's non static RNG hacks for the GBA games. That is to say, we throw all pretenses of being able to see the RN string ahead out the window. This would probably result in a more conservative slower approach to the game, as rigging crits or low hitrate stuff becomes properly inconsistent, especially with the lack of map saves compared to DSFE where rigging a crit or string of hits gets a lot more reasonable.

I'm doing an efficient 0% growths playthrough; am on Chapter 4 now. I have videos too, yeah! I should probably upload them or something.

I thought it was Paperblade, but I might be thinking of something else.

I was considering working on a LTC FE2 playthrough at some point but I never really ended up getting around to it due to a lot of factors, including not being able to make clean-looking videos, (I don't know a better method of RNG manipulation than looking at the unit list), not knowing stat benchmarks (somewhat mitigated), and some chapters not having a very good strategy available (Geyse's map comes to mind).

i doubt there is any instance in which something big and gamebreaking remains to be undiscovered aside from maybe FE2. the elites in the FE community are too well attuned to efficiency and LTC to really miss much.

now as for categories, 0% growths can mostly be optimized across the board. FE6 probably can't be improved too much after v4; i'm working on improving FE7, and FE8, 10, and 11 can all be improved. FE8 0% would actually be easier to do on the JP version because of some slightly increased base stats and buyable energy rings. FE5 probably can't be improved too much either, and i may need to re-do my run at some point because i technically cheated a little in order to get minimum turncounts on chapters 4x and 5.

FE6 has a lot of unexplored territory. pure NM and HM LTCs haven't really been done. LTCs on either mode with deaths also hasn't been done, and beamcrash's videos for NM LTC with deaths involve cheating and are incomplete. FE7 HHM was mostly completed by espinosa, and horace is also working on it. FE8 HM seems to be pretty well-explored, and chiki has done pretty well with tellius.
