Hello, I'd like to share with you with some stuff from my FEXP fangame.

I make with help of my good friend Lord Wolfram.

Story:

The story is about Arclite Alterion, son of the well known warlord. One day his father vanished without a trace and his castle was taken over by coup d'etat. Arclite, alongside knight commander, his subordinates and good childhood friend, escapes from his father's former territory. And from that part the young boy with remains of the fallen kingdom are wandering around the land, gathering the troops to face the force which took over his home.

[spoiler=Gameplay notes]

- 3 tiers

- Neutral army units like in some chapters of FE4, indifferent and non-passable by other armies

- Bandits as separate army

- Neutral active units, hostile to everyone except yellows

- Added Master Knight class as 3rd tier for any of mounted knight class sets

Oh nice, screenshots.

You should talk a little about the story, the goal of the project, what the title is- nothing in particular, just info in general!

I'll take this task and will give you transparent explanation.

The story is about the son of the well known warlord. The warlord is about to fall defending his homeland, but he still holds his final hope in his son, therefore he sends his right hand to take his son and run away from the castle.

And from that part the young boy with remains of the fallen kingdom are wandering around the land, gathering the troops to face the force which defeated his father. However the Fathers whereabouts are unknown as he also didn't fall from the enemy's blade in his castle walls...

Yep

Master knight for every mounted class doesn't feel right. Too many people with the same class. I would differentiate them in a phisical one with every phisical weapon and staves and a magical one with every tome, staves and swords.

This is all assuming that there is a strenght/magic split.

I thought about that, however, 3rd tier promotion items are planned to be uncommon, so, you can't simply make all of your 2nd tier knights to master)

We're also working with str/mag split, yep.

Are there going to be any playable Berserkers? If there is playable Berserkers, whats their Third Tier Class?

Yes. 3rd Tier for Berserker is called Slayer (homage to TLP's Slayer Class)

I'm assuming that the Hero's 3rd Tier is called either Dread Fighter or Vanguard then.

Apology for the delay, right now there's some delay with the progress as it's still a tough thing to do.

Right now we seek small assistance, We need FE4 ch.0(prologue) map autotiles, those we can rip if we have all water tiles in one spot etc, therefore all we ask is that someone makes random map that has all autotiles and would make screenshots for us for use.

We tried that few times but all out attempts ended up in ROM crash.

Also, what types of magic are in this fangame?

Wind, Thunder, Fire, Light, Dark and War magic.

War magic is weaker than dark and stronger than light, added it to make second magic triangle.

That type of magic's animations are inspired by Dynasty Warriors 8's Art Of War Scroll used by Chen Gong's effects. Attached gameplay video.

Sorry for the bad english, I'm on the phone and spell-checking would be a pain.

You should make a topic in the sprites section to get some help with the maps. That one has more than one thing wrong.

Simmetry is bad. If you want a palace to be simmetric you should only make the main hall and maybe the esteriors completely simmetric, with everything else with some subtle difference between right and left.

In the middle-to-bottom parts of the map the palace is 3-4 tiles tall, yet in the upper parts the walls have only 1 tile in height and there's even a breakable wall.

The glass windows look bad there,I don't think they were made to be placed right on a pavement/carpet, maybe they would look better with zsome wall beneath?

Make up your mind: the map can't be both indoor and outdoor. The villages represent an actual village or a house in outdoor chapters, but in this map they look like they are very little by comparison with the palace, like 3 meters squared. Using both indoor tiles and villages is probably possible but very tricky.
