As someone who's never played any before, I would like to ask the members of the forum their opinion for some friendly advice on which rom hacks a beginner could possibly start with. RandomSwordmaster Posted June 30, 2016 Share Posted June 30, 2016 Depends on what you want to play. Do you want to play a reskin? Or do you want to play a fully-fledged fangame? Reskins usually involve rebalancing of the base game, or some added mechanics, or random ass changes that end up making it fun (see FE7 Chaos Mode). I suggest starting with reskins and moving your way to fully-fledged fangames, though that's just my opinion, and you dont' have to follow it. I prefer actual fan made games because of the plot, but will also play reskins too. I'm new to using emulators and am just recently getting into FE hacks, which will perhaps take me some time to become accustomed to everything. I'll look into the FE8 Master Version. Wolt The Archer Posted July 5, 2016 Share Posted July 5, 2016 (edited) my first hack was decay of fangs, but its dead now still loved the story i think it has 12 chapters and custom mugs plus is not overly difficult. but as for reskins try fire emblem mk404 it is a reskin with 1 or 2 custom classes and once again alot of custom mugs.
