Aran613
Too bad about the huge RAM usage on GIMP, though. though if his computer is as good as mine, it should be no problem. I use GIMP on Ubuntu 10 and I don't have that problem, and I don't have a supercomputer.

Yes, that's good for you, but that doesn't mean GIMP uses any less RAM ;/ It's a massive RAM hog, and even if it doesn't lag for him, having that and other things open could cause some slow downs. fuzz94
I did not mind when it was only two skilled spriters telling me about different programs that are good for spriting... But I did not want my sprite thread to turn into an open discussion/debate on what programs are better. If you want to continue this discussion, could you kindly do it elsewhere? Nanami Touko
Yes yes, no problem, sorry for clogging the thread :

Jubby
shading. Do it. Yay for enigmatic responses but seriously, you don't think that's a little vague?
deranger
When you add things, say a head wrap. It casts a shadow. So everywhere you spliced almost everywhere you splice things together, you need to fix the shading.

Teapot
RED - more shading BLUE - less shading GREEN - other crap Small shoulders. :E Edited February 23, 2012 by uJELLY
fuzz94
for the less shading on the bottom of the mask, is it with the skin or the cloth or both? small shoulders for a small person
Teapot
Sheik is manly, tyvm. Manlier than Link, even. Shoulders, when viewed from the front, should be roughly the same width as 2x the width of the head. Skin, mainly, but the contrast on the shades of white could use quite a bit of adjusting.
