Rezzy
Male: Alexander Female: Catherine I like Catherine, and there's quite a few in my family, but almost too many. Great Aunt, cousins on either side, and a first cousin once removed. Alexander's okay, but again, I have a cousin by that name. Name this one Satan so its Leo and Satan Satan? Nah, I don't want my child to be scarred for life.
Anacybele
Why not Xander if it's a boy or Elise/Camilla if it's a girl? Hint hint. :P Edited March 31, 2016 by Anacybele
Elieson
I've always liked Amelia and Madison for a girl's name (though I'm partial to Alexis but that's my daughter's name so ##Bias) Mucho Congrats! I didn't know other parents surfed here!

Rezzy
Thanks a bunch, everybody! Why not Xander if it's a boy or Elise/Camilla if it's a girl? Hint hint. :P And name my child after Nohrian scum? Just kidding. I do like Alexander/Xander and as said it's actually the name of two of my cousins. (I forgot about one, he goes by A.J. usually.) Elise is okay, but Camilla is my mom's dog's name, so that would be weird. Bringing up Nohrian scum, Ana, is your profile pic meant to be a genderswapped Ryoma or just Ryoma? It just looks so feminine, but maybe that's because I associate the pic with you and saw that pic before I even knew about our favorite lobster knight. I've always liked Amelia and Madison for a girl's name (though I'm partial to Alexis but that's my daughter's name so ##Bias) Mucho Congrats! I didn't know other parents surfed here! I love Amelia! It's actually on my short-list of girls' names, and it sounds similar to my sister's name: Emily. Madison is the name of one of my cousin's daughters, but I've never been a fan of first names that sound like last names. No offense to anyone with a name like that. Yep, proud parent of soon to be two. I guess I'm older than most of the other forumers I see here. I'll be thirty this summer. Gosh, I'm old. If it seems like I have a relative for every name suggested, I have a huge family and have 30 first cousins alone. I've always wanted a big family myself, and I'm so happy right now. When I was younger, I was always worried about not finding "the one" and being alone. Too bad that school's taken so much of my prime baby-making years already. Again, thanks for the well wishes everyone! Feel free to keep naming names. I love talking about baby names, and I haven't told anyone outside my immediate family just yet, as I want to make sure everything goes okay in the early stages, first. Haha, I was actually joking too. :P I don't even like the Nohr siblings except for Elise. But yeah, I totally get ya. If I ever had kids (which I won't, for several reasons, the biggest one being pregnancy phobia. I can't even look at a pregnant woman without feeling a bit shivery sometimes), my favorite name for a boy is Bryan, but I have a cousin named Brian, so it'd feel awkward. :P I have a cousin named Amelia as well, btw. And Amelia was going to be my name originally as well, until my mom changed her mind at the last second. Amelia was my mom's grandma's name, see. I prefer Amelia over my real name, though... EDIT: Oh, forgot to answer your question about my Avy. xP No, it's just a regular fanart of Ryoma. Never thought he looked that feminine here... No worries, pregnancy can be a big life-changer and don't feel pressured to do anything. Plus there's always adoption if you can't/don't want to get pregnant yourself. I've got a cousin Kelly, too. Ann's my middle name, though I prefer the spelling Anne and sometimes spell it that way if I'm feeling rebellious. Well there is always. Owain...you know if you want him to grow up with the cool kids Maybe Owen, since I have some Welsh blood, though I don't think there's been any Owens in my recent family. Some names I've been throwing around in my mind. Boy: William, Robert, Benjamin, Zachary, Christopher Girl: Sylvia, Amelia, Susan, Margaret, Penelope I've actually got a list of names that I put down in a notebook over a decade ago. I actually referenced it in naming my first son. It's hard to explain, but just thinking of a new names gives me the sort of a feeling of a kid waiting for Christmas. I'm not really a big fan of kids, they really test my patience a lot. I get really annoyed just by one running into me in a store or something and not apologizing. Especially if their parents don't say a word to them about it. How rude. It's basic parenting to teach your kids to be polite! But I also know that can be hard and I feel like I wouldn't have enough patience for it. Also, my ears are sensitive, so I could never handle a crying infant. Ann is my middle name too! And I also prefer the spelling Anne. I hate the name either way though.

That's good that you can be honest about it; parenting's not for everybody. Is your middle name where you got your avatar name, or something else? I like my middle name, but it seems like Ann and Lynn are ubiquitous when it comes to middle names.
Lord Raven
Go hip and name your kid Muhed. Don't ask why. Just do it. Maybe spell it Mahad or Mahed or something so nobody calls him moohead ever. :( If female, go for Raven. No bias. Pfft, Raven swings both ways. . .uh, the name, not the. . .y'know what, I'm gonna change the subject. First off, congratulations~! Second, I'd recommend something that's common - I've seen some horror stories in my school, and I feel sorry for those kids when they reach high school. . .so I'd avoid weird spellings of common names (ex: Jaxxon), or stuff that different for the sake of being different (please don't name your baby girl James). Third. . . I guess I'm older than most of the other forumers I see here. I'll be thirty this summer. Gosh, I'm old. Get off my lawn. Oh, right, names. . .perhaps something gender-neutral, like Robin. It has nothing to do with Awakening, I swear~! Edited April 1, 2016 by eclipse

DarkDestr0yer61
Name your child Takumi In all seriousness, I am not sure what name to suggest. I don't want children at all. Nym
Congrats! I have no idea for a boy. Nym would be a great name. If it's a girl, maybe Rebecca or Elie sounds good (maybe from my ear only). Light Strategist
New Paralogue available? Hmm... Have you thought of what skills to pass down for inheritance? On that note, what classes will they have access to? So many things to think about... Still after names? Male Mark Kai Kent (not in reference to Fire Emblem so much as more where I live) Female Cynthia (honestly that's in reference to the Pokémon character more than Fire Emblem but either reference is good) Lilian Lucy (I may be biased toward this because it's the nickname that Cynthia refers to Lucina by in Awakening) In terms of skills you should pass down... I'd assume you have access to a skill like Veteran or Speed+2. Maybe you should pass one of those down... Jokes aside, congrats.
