MisterIceTeaPeach
[spoiler=Chapter 9 part 2]Turn 3Faval is the only reinforcement so far yet.Player phaseORKOing enemy knights with >40 HP is great. Julia's in the attack range of the great knight, who can't oneshot her.Fin kills the third knight.More training for Salem. He must catch up the others fast. His hitrate is still bad thanks to the most inaccurate magic type.Enemy phaseone miss + one critnot too many enemiesFaval moves towards west, where Patty is. Good!Turn 4Player phaseperfect for meAlso perfect for me. All the level ups in this chapter were awesome so far! Keep it up, guys!not useless at allSomeone else can kill him in enemy phase.Enemy phaseanother great level upfirst slim lance in this hackKinda thankful for that. So anyone else can kill him.Slow but steady my units reach the point they can oneshot some first tier generics.Turn 5First reinforcements from the northwest. They have a door key to open the door.Player phaseNot bad either. There are some nice items and weapons to get in this chapter.Leaf can even double now. Great!Eh... as long it's this stat, I can live with it.All the enemies in the west and east are defeated. I can press ahead towards north pretty fast so far. Not a hard chapter at all.Faval can attack me in the next turn. Patty gets rescued and dropped so she can recruit him in the next turn.Enemy phaseFor some reason he attacked Lakche instead of Leaf. Big mistake!Faval comes close to me. He can attack me in the next turn. However Patty can reach him.Turn 6Player phaseThe good level ups have stopped. Only one more level till she's maxed. Honestly Idk even know, if I'm going to promote her. Since Julia will use staves after her promotion and I want to keep Nanna as troubadour in my team, I could drop her. Her stats aren't too impressive anyway. It depends, how many master seals I'll get later. I'll promote other units first (Othin, Lester, Ulster).Faval's recruitment Patty: Faval? What're you doing here. Don't tell me you're working for the Empire! Faval: Patty? Are you doing with the rebels? Patty: We're here helping the people and we're going to finish Blume! It was the Imperial Guard that killed the parents of all the orphans! Don't you remember? Faval: I know, but Blue is threatening to hurt them, and I can't stick their safety. Patty: Then come with us! We'll kick that Blume's ass and being back to the people. Faval: Alright, I'm in. I'm cutting all ties to the Empire right now. Patty, you sure have grown up since the last time I say you. Patty: Who, me? Heehee! Most archers / snipers are bleh... but not this one.Fin will pull out this general. Be careful! He has a killing edge he can use.Ok, now I've a phase of bad level ups. Justice.Enemy phaseSince he has equipped the killing edge, I won't get it. :([spoiler=Actually she doesn't need it.]Finally strength, but no speed. She needs one more point so badly to double Blume (20 AS). Turn 7Second wave of reinforcements from the northwest, but still no reinforcements from the northeast.Player phaseLakche will attract the sage with the relic sword equipped (+5 res.).Julia shall be promoted still in this chapter.Fin will pull out the first reinforcements.Enemy phaseTurn 8A thief appears in the treasure room. Instead of sending Patty to this chest, I can let him plunder it and kill him after that. It'll save me lots of turns.Even promoted enemies can get ORKOed now.Fee tests, if the mage knight will move.Faval shows his awesomeness impressively. The first wave of reinforcements is defeated in one turn. And the second wave can attack me in enemy phase. She must train her anima level. She still can't use thunder yet.I think to know about the content inside one other chest.Enemy phaseSurprise! Turn 9 Player phase another awesome level up for Othin Lester has to finish, Seliph couldn't. Strength is capped. Seconed wave of reinforcements is defeated as well. eh... at least speed Turn 10 cavalier reinforcements Player phase UGH! Excellent! I can even kill the troubadour. Enemy phase The thief is going after the chest in the northeast too. Someone will kill him before that to get the swordreaver. Turn 11 Player phase The left group enters Blume's throne room already. Fin checks out, if the knights will move. Patty is going after the chest in the northwest. He shall attack her in enemy phase. One crit would do it. Enemy phase No crit, but at least an ok level up. Her defense is pretty good for being a pegasus knight. Edited November 17, 2015 by Mister IceTeaPeach
MisterIceTeaPeach
I added images to part 2.[spoiler=Chapter 9 part 3]Turn 12another thiefPlayer phaseThese knights are stationary.I love his balance.Have to rescue Julia, because the myrm and merc can kill her.Good job!I take this.Enemy phaseFin can double these two. He's even so fast that he can double myrms.Fee can reach the thief in the next turn.Turn 13Whoa! More enemy reinforcements from the northwest, who appear below of the door unlike the first two waves. Patty is apart from the main group. She must move towards east and Lester has to rescue her. I can't get to this chest until these enemies are defeated. The archer has a dracoshield I could steal. Of course I'm going to do it. I think it's the first time I can steal a status boost. The nomad has a long bow.Player phasePatty is saved, but I must drop her on a space where she can reach the archer with the dracoshield in the next turn. So I had to drop her on a space, where she can get attacked by the nomad with the long bow.The throne room is empty now except for Blume's presence.alrightWith the horseslayer he can bring him down to almost 50% HP. I don't expect a 1% crit of course. He'll get attacked in enemy phase.Enemy phasehitTurn 14Player phaseDracoshield is mine now!The archer is trapped.7 damage with an effective weapon isn't all that much. Same goes for her level up. At least I can promote her now.nopeSo Lakche claims another bosskill and level up. I forgot that the relic sword doesn't give only a boost in resistance, but also a boost in speed. Actually she didn't have enough speed to double Blume. However this chapter isn't over yet. Still have to get a couple of chests.Enemy phaseI WANT THIS!Turn 15Player phaseperfect for meJulia's promotionShe can use mend staves already.Enemy phaseThankfully the thief doesn't escape.Turn 16Although this chapter is actually done, more reinforecements appear. Fee will pull out one of them.Good level up and I get the master seal. 22 strength is his cap.Enemy phaseTurn 17Player phaseAnother thief. Fee is trapped in the chest room. She must deal with these cavaliers and the two thieves all alone. At least she can kill the weaken cavalier in this turn. She can take two hits. Lana can use physics on her in each turn.Patty takes the pressure off Fee.Enemy phaseDamn it! So close...Turn 18Player phaseThe healing chick must fuck off at once. Getting the last treasure chest isn't a cakewalk at all.His last level up!?I use a defenseless unit as decoy bird once again. Fee must stop the thieves.Enemy phaseMy strategy worked.Nevermind! Wasted lots of turns for this.Turn 19And more reinforcements want to piss me off. This archer has a dracoshield too, but I won't steal it. I want to finish this chapter sometime...Player phaseIt's more worth to give her the experience. It's paid off very well. All her level ups were great. Speed and skill are maxed already and her strength and defense aren't bad either. Lana can promote too... but Idk, if I'm going to do it. Leaf can one round one of them at least. Finally time to seize!

MisterIceTeaPeach
[spoiler=Chapter 10 part 1]Story timeIt's Sety...... and is waiting for to join Seliph's group. In the house of evilness...Too late, I guess.Veld, the ultimate fortune teller.wishful thinkingI see.Battle preparationsI gave Seliph the speed wing and the draco shield from the last chapter.Lana's promotionNow she can fight too. I've so many master seals that I could use one on her.MapChapter 10 is a seize mission. Julia is forced (plotwise) for this chapter and her placement is fixed like Seliph's and Leaf's. Now I know, why she caused me a Game Over in a previous chapter. Your army is split in three groups. The left and right group has to open the central door somehow (two spaces right and two spaces above of the tent). It took like an eternal to figure out, but not too late that these spaces look differently than the other ones. These are switches. Any units have to seize them to open the door.EnemiesFirst tier genericsThey become faster and even more powerful. The fighters, archers and mercenaries have up to 17 speed so that no first tier units is able to double them. two killer weaponsone reaver weaponSecond tier genericsThey're only slightly better than the first tier generics. For example the general has less strength than the knight. However they're all pretty fast.RaydrikRaydrik himself doesn't look too tough. He has strength and enough speed not get doubled by most of my units, but his defense is pretty low for a level 10 general. And alba can do shit against him. However it's not the only reason, why Julia should attack and kill him...There aren't that many interesting droppables except for door and chest keys. Also nothing important to steal. However make sure to have chest keys for the chests in the west and east, if you don't bring both thieves. I only bring Patty, so I must give chest keys to someone.Turn 1Player phaseI can kill the knight (with a droppable door key) and open the door. Two of the cavaliers and the soldier can attack Lakche already. She'll play the role of the Jagen again. My tent is serious danger. I can't save it. The archer and the mercenary with the killing edge can attack it. Actually It was no good idea not bring a cavalier to this group.Seliph and Shanan block the nomad.Placing Fin on a spot, where he can reach this dark mage in the first turn.[spoiler=UGH... What a great start... :/]Don't worry! You'll see tons of shitty level ups in this mission. Faval misses even twice. I can't even kill this fighter anymore, which kinda sucks. No good start in this chapter at all.Enemy phaseIt barely survives. I should save it somehow.one lessThe paladin below of Raydrik can attack me two.The RNG sucks already... Turn 2Player phaseWell, my tent has a serious problem now. There are three enemies there including one great knight and the mercenary with the killing edge.I don't want to lose my tent, because I don't want to drop any weapons or items.Must think of a plan...First the easy kills[spoiler=Seliph has the worst level ups in the game.]However he'll get serious concurrence. I must hope go for a crit, because I must kill the great knight with Leaf and Julia. The archer and the mercenary block me the attack spot. Her level up is decent.Good! Only the mercenary is left. There's a way to save the tent, but it poses a risk to Shanan. A crit would kill him. But I've to try it...... and LOSE! I sacrificed Shanan for a tent. It doesn't matter, because tent will be destroyed by the merc too. So I have to replay it anyway.__________________________________Attempt #2Fee kills the archer and Julia kills the GK again. There's no safe way to kill this merc and save the tent.Nice. I really love his great speed growth so far. Didn't expect it honestly.Another unnecessary risk, but I trust the %rate. This time I don't get punished.goodbye long bowNice time for a crit! This cavalier drops a door key.Can kill 3/4 of the enemies at least.Enemy phase RIP tent... I tried so hard to save you... even at cost of other unit's life... but I failed... oh well! Sorry, but, how long was this hack?I can't remember right now. 15 chapters total (11 main ones and 4 sidequests) Edited November 20, 2015 by Mister IceTeaPeach
MisterIceTeaPeach
[spoiler=Chapter 10 part 2]more heal exp. for Lana at leastCome on! Stop being a jerk, Faval!Of course! <43% hit me twice, but two 50% twice don't crit. The RNG pisses me off so far!OUCH!Turn 3This enemy phase went pretty bad. I didn't only lose my tent, but I also was pretty much RNG-screwed.Player phaseThis time I didn't need a crit...Another promotion is fixed.Awesome! Now strength, skill and speed are maxed, the three most important stats. Lester is a true powerhouse! This merc has a wind sword, who'll attack Havan. It was a bad idea to attack him, because he'll get healed by the troubadour.[spoiler=No more unnecessary risks from now on.]Don't pay attention on this lie! He has equipped the hand axe to counterattack. This bastard must die.I trust the 91%.Enemy phaseOthin can't hit for shit.as I expectedTwo NPCs are shown for a very short time, but disappear after this conversation.Turn 4Player phaseThis killer weapon is no danger for me anymore.one of the better droppablesI think her best level up so far.Havan checks out, if the soldier will move.for selling[spoiler=Probably her worst stat she could get.]Patty will be on a roll in this chapter: The "one-statter-roll". Faval shall weak him.Fin can deal with these two.Enemy phaseI forgot about Patty...He gets healed for 1 (!!!) HP.Turn 5a couple or reinforcements here - no problem for mePlayer phaseDamn it, Salem! You need the experience.Fin and Ulster block the reinforcements. This soldier doesn't move. But I think the fighter will do.Enemy phaseYup, he does.niceTurn 6Player phaseOne stat level up count: 2Oh, this soldier also has a killer lance. Othin is wounded. A crit would kill him. Thankfully Fin can block him.Speed is nice for him at least. I only see the good things in each level up from now on.Lakche as a decoy bird once more.Enemy phaseDodging in this chapter isn't her thing.Turn 7a couple of reinforcements hereactually a great level upIdc for the reinforcements for now. They shall go after me.And more crappiness!Another unnecessary risk: If Salem missed, he'd get counterattacked by this fighter and attacked by the merc. => his deathFin can ORKO him. He can counterattack the dark mage and druid.Yeah, more promotions!at least three statsanother rapier for SeliphEnemy phaseTurn 8more reinforcementsPlayer phaseThis druid doesn't move. Ulster will get the silver sword.Lakche shall pull out the paladin.Enemy phaseI'm afraid of that I won't kill him in the next player phase again.Turn 9Player phaseLeaf gets another copy of his personal sword too.Activating the first of two switches. Lana will deal with this paladin. She can do more damage than Lakche. Enemy phaseIf he doesn't get healed, I can take him out in the next turn. And no, he doesn't. MisterIceTeaPeach
[spoiler=Chapter 10 part 3]Turn 9more reinforcements herePlayer phaseThis level up is totally fine with me. Now I can promote him too. Actually my best unit statwise.I pull out more enemies with 2 range weapons. There's nothing to do in the southern and eastern area. Someone of the western party will activate the second switch in the next turn.Against my expectations the troubadour doesn't heal him.Turn 10Player phaseUlster will have fun with these two. This chapter spams with abysmal level ups.Speed is maxed.Lester's promotionHe can use already steel swords. I think weapon level E doesn't even exist.Second switch is activated, which opens the main door.Raydrik isn't delighted with it.When the main door is open, Sety appears:Sety: Sir Seliph.Seliph: Huh. Who are you?Sety: My name is Sety, sir.Seliph: You're the one, who has been attempting to get Manster back, right? Sety, you're a hero!Sety: Sir Seliph, we've waited for your arrival for a long time. Sir, please... You must save the world from despair. Too mnay people have given up as it is. Duke Raydrik had a great number of children seized and sent to the shrine in Miletops. I was unable to prevent it... I'm no hero, sir. I'm a coward if anything.Seliph: Sety, I wouldn't have gotten anywhere if I'd been on my own. It was our combined strength that brought us here. What you've done so far is amazing. Sety, I'd really appreciate if you could help us. Would you consider joining up with us?Sety: It'd be an honor, sir. I'll fight for you until the very end!Sety is a sage with solid bases, poor equipement and great weapon levels. However since I've Julia, who has more magic already, there's no space in my team for him anymore.Enemy phaseEveryone in the throne room moves towards Seliph's group.no critTurn 11again reinforcements hereMoreover two dark mages appear. From now on they'll spawn in each turn.Player phaseI can pull out one of them at least.Damn it, Salem!!!One statter level up count: 3 A flawless hat-trick! YOU'RE SO AMAZING!!!alright Enemy phaseWhoops! Forgot to kill him in player phase.Turn 12Player phaseAgain two dark sages appear. Like in the last turn Lester will pull out one of them. Some work for Seliph's group.Enemy phaseThese dark mages are excellent training for Lester.Turn 13Player phaseJulia's too OP!Enemy phaseTurn 14more dark magesPlayer phaseI could kill her, but I don't want to waste my alba anymore. Furthermore she needs an upgrade in her anima level so badly to use thunder.Enemy phaseHis first resistance point! Congrats!excellentThese dark mages hurt.Turn 15no more reinforcementsPlayer phaseAll the enemies are defeated here. However these weren't the last ones on this map.Enemy phaseI forgot about these two.Turn 16Player phaseSety can do nice damage to him.If Raydrik wasn't healed by the throne, she could ORKO him. She has a special conversation with him.Sety gets rescued so that Raydrik only can attack Julia.Fee can talk to Sety. She's her brother. However you don't get anything for this conversation.100% speed growth so far. Awesome!Enemy phasealmostTurn 17Player phaseRevenge is successful and another good level up as reward.thanks JuliaThe wall behinds the throne breaks.[spoiler=Julia runs into a secret room.]I guess this scene is only shown, when Julia attacked Raydrik. It brings you to another sidequest.
MisterIceTeaPeach
[spoiler=Chapter 10x part 1]final chapter of this hack versionJulia is all alone...... not anymore.Oh snap! I guess someone has to settle a payment with her.As I expected.one good unit less :cYup!Battle preparationsUlster's promotionI need an axe user for this chapter, because I can't bring enough units to this chapter. I only can bring ten units to this chapter. There's no room for my two fighters. Fee gets the second master seal, because she only needs one kill to reach level 20. Furthermore I only bring Lana as healer since Julia is captured and Nanna isn't promoted.Fun fact: Although Julia's out, you can give her weapons to someone else.Chapter 10x is a defeat boss mission. This map isn't as huge as the previous ones and there aren't that many enemies here.EnemiesFirst tier genericsSame level and similar stats like in the last chapter. Brigands have a way higher strength cap than 20. And they're very fast. Most of the enemies have steel weapons, hand axes, javelins. A few dark magic users have nosferatu.a couple of killer weapons. The myrm has a stealable master seal.more useful stuff to stealSecond tier genericsBe careful with mounted units!Swordmaster, who can't get doubled.VeldHe's a druid, maxed level. His stats might not be too amazing for his level, but he has fenrir, which kills everyone with two shots (even Lakche with the relic sword equipped). And he can't get doubled. Furthermore he has awareness, which negates critical crits. However it's stealable, if Lifis or Patty have 22 AS. That automatically requires a promotion. I try to bring Pattyto 22 sp eed with the stealable master seal in this chapter. [spoiler=When you've defeated him, this chapter... and hack are over.]He's not the main boss. There are two paths to go. However I won't split my units, because I want to keep my units close together. That automatically means I'll sacrifice my tent.Turn 1Player phaseTotally unnecessary! Fee should get the kill to reach level 20.Therefore she can get this kill and a pretty good final level. Her defense is really good. However she's in the attack range of an archer now. Changing her weapon to a javelin. Maybe the archer won't attack her, when she can counterattack.Leaf gets a real good final level up too. However he can't classchange yet, because he has a fixed promotion.Enemy phaseMy plan doesn't work. Most of the enemies move automatically towards me.Leaf gets attacked by a myrmidon. He misses and Leaf almost oneshots him.Turn 2Player phaseLester and Leaf will move towards my main group. They're in the attack range of the wyvern lord, who'll get doubled by both. That means I open the way for the enemies to attack my tent.Fee's promotionautomatic lance level S (had A before) Lana heals her. She and Fin can pull out a few enemies.Enemy phaseOh really!?Turn 3Player phaseThis swordmaster doesn't move for some reason.HP-sauce twice in a row! Had to give him the kill, because Leaf couldn't get anymore experience.Well, I changed my plan. Leaf can kill this archer.Enemy phaseUGH!I didn't pay attention that he has a long bow. So it was just a wasted turn to place Leaf here, who can't do anything against him.Turn 4Player phaseShe's still on the roll! This chapter is pretty easy so far, which isn't very surprising honestly with my large number of promoted units. In like three turns I could reach Veld already. Now the enemies can go after the tent.Enemy phasethis 1%...Two nasty enemies to beat in the next turn. The long bow archer hits the tent.Turn 5Player phaseActually I'm glad that his first shot missed. Excellent! They're down. However some of my units are heavily injured. I only have one healer for this chapter.Enemy phaseTurn 6no reinforcements yetPlayer phaseNothing much going on except that the tent will be destroyed in this turn. Fin will pull out a dark sage and the druid. He's slightly damaged, but his resistance is high enough to survive them.Fin pulls out the myrm with the stealable master seal.Enemy phasecrushedno chanceTurn 7Player phaseShe must use it. Remember: Veld has 22 speed. Patty can't steal his awareness yet. Probably she even needs one level up as assassin, because the promotion will give her only one speed point.Fin can reach Veld in the next turn.[spoiler=This chapter is almost as empty as him.]This will change! Very nice, although he leaves out the two most important stats.basically the sameEnemy phaseEpic jump! MisterIceTeaPeach
[spoiler=Chapter 10 part 2 (final part)]Turn 8Player phaseFin would survive with 1 HP. Veld shall attack him in enemy phase. That was it from now. There are few enemies on the west side left, but I don't want to bother with them.Enemy phaseHits 1 of 2 at least. After this battle:a giant earthquakeHe leaves!Nobody knows... and you won't get a real answer for that!FoW and enemies...MORE ENEMIESand MORE, even classchangedThe situation has changed complety: Tons of tough reinforcements (including second tier) were teleported, who surround you. FoW => absolute deadly combination.Furthermore there's a new main bossThe main has a no name, but his portrait is the shadow version of Ares. Mystletainn is an incredible powerful sword with a high critrate. Be careful! But he's one real weakness: speed. With his 20 AS he can get doubled by Fin and Lakche. Fin with his hero lance can attack him four times and has a weapon advantage. So it's possible to beat him one turn, which I must do anyway to prevent any losses. The mission target hasn't changed after this event. It's still a defeat boss mission. Turn 9 Player phase Before I finish this game, I want you to show the final classchange: Patty's ... At least it was my wish. Thieves can't get promoted via the master seal. Either a special promotion item is needed, or thieves can't even promote (which would suck). Never will find it out... This also means it's not possible to steal Veld's awareness. Well, then... time to finish this hack: almost 75% of his HP down There's no boss conversation. Lakche finishes her job once more and gets a great level up. At least she can keep the gorgeous mystletainn in her hands for a very bit, which she couldn't use anyway. That's it! This was the last enemy in FE Forever. no clue of Julia suddenly She teleports to this place. ? Nobody knows anything. I only can assume that she's talking about Ishtar. So many open questions. Back in castle Manster King Travant makes trouble. A very sudden ending... but yeah, FE Forever ends at this point unfortunately. This hack consists of 11 main and 4 side chapters. I missed one side chapter, because I killed the boss in chapter 7. [spoiler=Short character review] Seliph Seliph is by far the worse of the two lords (Julia excluded). He's outclassed by Leaf in pretty much each stat. I had to invest lots of status boosts (speed wing, draco shield) in him to make him much more usable. Escpecially his early game sucked because of his poor first level ups. In general he had the worst level ups besides Patty. Fin Fin is just godly. He joins with awesome bases and also has awesome growths. Furthermore he's a mounted unit and has the hero lance. Really his major plus is his balance. He really has no weakness except for being vulnerable against effective weapons. 9,5/10 Fee Fee's start kinda sucked with her low bases. And her first level ups weren't good either. However she became more and more useful. Especially her high defense surprised me positively. Her strength was ok, but her skill could be better... much better. Lakche Probably I was very lucky with her level ups as a myrmidon. Her strength and defense exploded and combined with her speed she could ORKO lots of enemies. So she became very fast an OP unit and a wall. Her level ups became worse after her promotion, but it doesn't change the fact that she was a fantastic myrmidon. Julia Julia's speed in the early game really stuck. After a while it was fixed and became a powerhouse. Thanks to her high magic she could ORKO knights and dracos. A very good magic user. Salem I did the mistake that I started to use him too late. I think he has great potential. He had 100% speed growth. His only weakness is the low accuracy of dark magic tomes, which makes it hard to give him levels. Sety Joins ok decent bases. Only useful, if your Asvel and Julia are screwed. Lana Had massive speed trouble in her first ten levels, but it became better. A typical cleric, I guess. Nanna A very fast troubadour. Her low magic was a little problem in the beginning. Same goes for her stave level. Asvel Same as in FE5: Speed mage... at cost of his magic. Julia could do as much damage with one attack as he could do with two. Othin Same as in FE5: Speed fighter with a pretty low stregth and only mediocre defense. However I still prefer him over Havan, just because he can double. Havan He's more the typical fighter: High HP, strength and low skill. His speed was a problem is a few situations. In chapter 7 he even could get doubled. Ulster Ulster's strength was kinda lacking in the early game. That was the main reason, why Lakche was so many levels ahead of him. However he's quite similar to her. High speed and skill and good strength and defense later. An excllent mercenary. Arthur The least useful mage for me. He didn't have the magic Julia had. And the didn't have the speed Asvel had. Lifis Terrible dodger. Seriously Idk, if he'd turn out better than Patty. His strength was really bad though. Ares Haven't used. Johan Haven't used. Delmud More the stronger and tankier type of cavalier. His only mediocre speed outclassed him. However no bad unit. Oifey typical Jagen Shanan His speed helps in the beginning. However totally outclassed by Lakche in the longrun. Eyvel A prepromoted unit, who died in the chapter she joined. It says everything. Johalva No single point in speed brought him to the bench very fast. Leaf Leaf was a really good lord. He reminded me on Hector. More a tankier lord. He could take lots of physical hits. His strength was great and his speed wasn't bad either (even if I helped him a bit by giving him a speed wing). Lester Actually Lester became the best offensive unit in tier one. He was the only one, who maxed out strength, skill and speed. Never really expected that a bow knight would reach this caps. This only shows his awesomeness as an offensive unit. His defense was crap, but it didn't matter for being a 2 range user. Faval Joins with great bases, but might have only "Jagen"-growths. Can't say more. Patty Actually Patty had a real good start. Her strength and defense growth were decent... but in her four last levels up she showed her "dirty" side. :( [spoiler=Short game review] FE Forever was really good hack, which made lots of fun. The map design was great. Desert chapter + ballistas sounds annoying, but I liked the idea because it's new and forces you to play even more carefully. I also loved the defend mission chapter 7. Chapter 6 was a giant map, which features two parties with different objectives: Pressing forward with one group by routing the enemy and defending with the other group. This hack had lots of good ideas. Gameplaywise it has a few modifications, I missed in FE4. The main issues in FE4 are for me: You can't trade any items or skills during the game. Healing items don't exist. Enemies can always attack with any weapon, although they equip a different one. These things are fixed. However one thing bothers me: Enemies don't have canto, which makes my mounted units kinda OP. If it existed for the enemies, I'd have more losses maybe... but I prefer to have fairness. Status staves and long range magic haven't been existed, which is fine for me till the point the hack ended. Support conversations don't exist. At least I haven't got a single one yet. Although I played on the lower mode this hack was really challenging, mainly in the first 75% of this hack. You've to think a lot, which I didn't do in some situations. I played too offensively, which caused me some deaths and restarts. The enemies have really high stats, but they're absolute believable. It also makes sense, because this hack seems to have rather high growthrates for the units anyway. My units capped lots of stats. So it makes much more fun to fight tougher enemies. It was tough, but there was no single point I'd say it was unfair. The soundtrack consists of FE7 themes unfortunately. For representing the Judgral story I really wished for a few theme remixes of FE4 + 5 at least. All in all it was a really good hack and I wished this hack would be continued sometime. :( This is the end of FE Forever. I must announce one important thing in advance: This thread will "sleep" for a bit. I guess it was the last FE LP I've done in 2015. I need a break from FE. There are some other videogames I'd like to finish now. I want to try out new franchises to extend my videogame horizont. Actually I'd like to do another LP this year (maybe even CO-OP), but it won't be a FE hack. Sry guys for these depressing news. This wasn't the final hack here. Promised! This thread will be continued... just after a longer break. I hope you can understand my decision. There's only one more thing to say: Thanks for watching and / or commenting and... SEE YA! MisterIceTeaPeach
Let's play Midnight Sun Vers. 1.5.[spoiler=Prolog part 1]Welcome to Version 1.5. of Midnight Sun by Alfred Kamon. I already did a LP of an earlier version, but unfortunately I destroyed it by accidently deleting all the links to the images. So it's a perfect way to redo this. Since I've played a part before, the early chapters should be familar to me unless some new features are added. I'll let me surprise. I'm so looking forward to this, because I absolutely loved the earlier version of MS. The story, characters and map design were brilliant with some complete new ideas. If gameplay will keep this niveau, it'll become my absolute favorite FE hack! Enough talk, let's begin! I'm going for normal, because I'm normal. Hard mode in the earlier version was very frustrating at some points, but Alfred told that he fixed it. However it's still blind in some partd for me, so I don't want to overrestimate myself by playing on hard. Normal should be fair and challenging enough. StoryHoikadeMagnoliaMidbarPylumLazulisTartaros(you obviously noticed the familarity of the portraits)war everywhere not the best relationship for sure I forgot what's the story behind her name. In the earlier version her name was Moonie. It's a new feature during playing a chapter. I'll explain it after the chapter starts. Furthermore you'll get asked, if you want to read the definition of the Demon King and the Vassal. Of course I chosed yes. Munie explains: After the War of the Stones, the soul of the Demon King had been sealed in the stone of the holy country Pylum. However the stone alone couldn't endure that tremendous pressure, and soon scholars started to seek a way to avert a new catastrophe. Eventually they found out that it was possible to contain the King's terrible power... within a human body. A special one filled with powerful magic, like yours, Fa. The fate of the world reliers on your ability to control the Demon. You're a precious being to our people and our country, Hoikade. Please don't forget this, and try to follow Alvano's teachings more. agrees reluctantly Rolling out the red carpet for her. The fate of being born in the wrong bed. suddenly absolute silence a freak from nowhere Faratrass: WTF!? no chance against the tanky and dodgy princess The reason, why she didn't attack back in the battle animation. Help from nowhere is coming. Faratrass isn't very enthusiastic about seeing a massacre in her own castle. A hidden family member? answer adjourned More freaks are on the way. There he leaves... Faratrass explained him the mysterious incidents inside the castle. But she doesn't have to, because he noticed the incidents somehow. the initiator of all More trouble is coming soon. Faratrass: ??? !!! That's bad! Perfect timing for a little bit support. It's the best for you, you know!? He's still continuing with his badass answers. more shit Do you rather want to die? He'll deal with the knights in the north-west while Fa will kill her own teacher. Allies Faratrass Faratrass is a lord, who uses dark magic. Her base stats are pretty alright. However you notice that her defense is much higher than her resistance. She's like a sword using lord, only that she uses dark magic. She's not the type of lord as Micaiah. And you notice that she has a strength stat. It's also a new feature. I don't know, what the strength will do. The constitution is the buffer for the weapon weight like in the GBA parts. Maybe she'll be able to use physical weapons later. umbra = flux Oblumbra is Fa's personal dark spell, which is slightly more powerful and accurate than umbra and deals effective damage to amors. It's only a semi-rapier, since it's not effective against horses. Only the weapon rank is shown the character is able to use. ??? He's a prepromoted unit with decent balanced stats. His defense is kinda crappy. (Fa's defense is only 4 lower) He has steel and silver weapons and six elixirs in total. (I think there were only three in the earlier version) Warp Knight is a special class, I guess. It can only use swords. Enemies Generics Soliders, who have iron, steel lances and javelins. Shamans with umbra. They hurt more than physical units. Knights, who can use axes and lances. In this chapter they only have axes. Alvano Alvano is only slightly more powerful than a generic shaman. Fa can't take two hits by him though. ???'s task is to cover Fa's back. He has to deal with the enemies (soldiers and knights) in the north-west while Fa is heading towards south to kill Alvano. There's no need to send Fa to this area, even if she might oneshot the knights with umbra. The enemies are higher level than them on the way to Alvano. Be careful about the enemy shamans. Fa's resistance is low She can barely take two hits. In hard mode she can't even take two hits. ??? is a NPC so you cannot control him. In the earlier version the A.I. screwed me. (I think it was on hard mode) He didn't use an elixir and died in the next enemy phase. So yes, ??? can die in this chapter, but it only happens, if he always gets hit and doesn't heal if he's about on 50% HP. Two elixirs will be enough for him. MisterIceTeaPeach
[spoiler=Prolog part 2]Before I'm going to start, I explain you the info command.(in this case I did it during the chapter)It's like a synopsis. Characters and terms are explained there. More subitems will be added later, I guess. It's an excellent way to makes it easier to connect the past to the current events. Now it's time for action!Turn 1Player phaseI forgot to take screenshots of the map. But it should work without them. I explained it already. ??? will fight the soldiers and knights in the north-west while Fa will go southwards towards Alvano. Three shamans and a javelin soldier on her way. Using the pillars is very recommened to get the evasion boost. The solider on the left can't reach her, which he shouldn't do anyway, because he has a steel lance. Only the javelin soldier and a shaman can attack her.Enemy phaseWith the silver sword equipped he can even ORKO the knights. You see that the enemies can seriously hurt him. He lost already 40% of his HP.Fa's first battle quote: Fa: M-Maybe I can reverse the brainwashing... Master Alvano's seals are too strong, ass I thought. Soldier: K-Kill... Princess... Fa: You leave me no choice then. Curse this situation! The shadow is the sign of a crit. The javelin soldier can't even hurt her. BTW she has own battle theme now. (pls don't ask me from which game it is)Turn 2reinforcements for ???Player phaseFa finishes off this one and pulls out another shaman. I'm using oblumbra for now because of its better accuracy.Enemy phaseSame pattern as is turn 1.She definitely needs healing. The A.I. doesn't screw me. :)Turn 3again three more reinforcementsPlayer phaseexcellent first level up for Fa :)Enemy phaseMap animations would be more useful for him, I guess.Turn 4two morePlayer phasesafe for nowEnemy phasenot the best dodger yetNPC phaseTurn 5three more reinforcementsPlayer phaseOnly Alvano is left for her.Enemy phase + NPC phase??? kills the two soldiers and the knight.Turn 6Player phaseFa will fight her teacher.Enemy phaseBossquote Fa: Master Alvano... Alvano: I'm not your master, Fa. I never have been. Fa: But why? Why did you deceive me? Why are you trying to kill me, Alvano? All the time we spent together, learning how to control the Demon... Was it all meaningless to you, Alvano? I thought you care about me, about the Vassal. Alvano: ... Please stop. What's done is done. Let me see if I had thaught you well, Milady. Fa: Master Alvano! Turn 7Player phaseAt least he "taught" her well.More magic and speed... and strength for some reason. What does later mean?probably a bad decision...on the way towards MunieMOAR TROUBLE!!!Fa tells her that she had no other choice to defend herself....SNAP!!! Munie found a replacement for her. ... and everyone became red ??? saves the day... again. MisterIceTeaPeach
[spoiler=Chapter 1 part 1]Hoikade is chasing the till the bitter end.But it doesn't change the fact that Faratrass is still in the ultimate conflict situation. For being princess of Hoikade, Faratrass can give him detailed precise information about Hoikade's military.Faratrass as fortune-tellerGot it!(This hack tells often tells you, when and sometimes what kind of reinfocements arrive)Using the forest to get evasion and defend boost.(It also gives you a few hints about strategy and hidden items.)Now I know your name.Another info:tool towards victory.Good to know the strengths and weaknesses of this army. Archers and magic users are quite handsome against them.MapThis chapter is empty... yet... but it'll change soon. As Fa said, wyvern knights will appear very soon. You definitely want to use one of these forts to get the defend boost. There are two houses to visit. I never have been able to visit the house in the north-west. However I'm pretty sure that this one gives you a worse item than the house in the south-west. Hellios' task is to visit them (if possible in time) and Faratrass shall fight all the enemies to give as much experience as possible. The target is to the defeat the boss.HelliosHellios has still the same stats but less equipment. The silver sword and one pack of elixirs are gone.Turn 1Hellios rescues and takes Fa. He shall take her to the fort on the top left of this image. Mounted units can still move and even attack after they've attacked like in the Tellius series. A huge plus.Turn 2Player phaseEnemy phaseHere are the dracos. The Hoikadens are questioning their motives.Turn 3Player phaseFa is dropped. In the next turn Fa can enter the fort while Hellios visits the house.Enemy phaseTwo generics move but the boss doesn't.Turn 4Player phase"Only" an iron sword. Better than nothing, I guess. And it gives Hellios the chance not to OKRKO everything.her attacking spotEnemy phasesecond group of dracosAn event happensHellios gets a sword by magic hand. It's the warp sword. (probably locked to his class) It's a powerful and accurate 1-2 sword. Idk, if it attacks with strength or magic. Anyways great against the shamans, which will appear later.Enemies GenericsThese dracos aren't too tough. Faratrass on the fort can take three hits by them. However they're fast enough not to get doubled.BossRamov is more powerful and tankier. Furthermore he has a horseslayer, which is bad news for Hellios. I really would like to get it. He's quite the challenge. However Hellios with his warp sword and Fa should take him down in one turn.Turn 5Player phaseMy units hold their position. No one believes her.one crit, one downI've exact the time I need to prepare for these three.Turn 6Player phaseblehTurn 7Player phaseFa's waiting for the next group.Enemy phaseThe first group of cavaliers... as ambush this time.(This hack changes the pattern of reinforcements' appearing before or after enemy phase quite a lot)Don't underrestimate my strategical skills. I'm terrible at FE, but not so bad that I don't even know this.It lacks on speed to double.Turn 8Player phaseHer first miss. Not too bad aslong she can kill him in enemy phase. However I should move to the north pretty soon, becase sth. will happen there.Hellios' first kill. Unlike in the previous version he gets the according battle experience for his class, means pretty much nothing.Enemy phaseApparently he doesn't grant Fa the exp.Second wave of cavaliers. This time they appear after the enemy phase ended.NPC phaseAnd two green people appear. The fighter guy seems to be very religious and bloodthursty.NPCs ChristophChristoph is a fighter. He has really good base speed, but low skill and is fragile. He's less tanky than Fa. Another problem is that he doesn't have very accurate axes. His steel weighs his spped down by 2. An iron axe would be very nice for him.RyaRya is an archer with very balanced stats. For some reason she reminds me on Ronan and Leonardo a bit with her high magic and resistance. Besides an iron bow she has the lightninggrad, a magic bow, which attack the resistance of the opponent. Actually a total new weapon type, because magic bows don't exist in regular FE games. This bow is very good against units with low resistance like knights.EnemiesCavaliers can use all three melee weapon types. It makes them great, because they can take advantage of the weapon triangle at any time. MisterIceTeaPeach
[spoiler=Chapter 1 part 2]Turn 9Player phasealrightI could get a first serious problem. There are three cavaliers, who can reach Christoph in this turn. His defense is pretty crap, so I have to worry about him. Thankfully enemies don't have canto after attacking, so he can get hurt by only one cavalier. However Hellios must help him immediately. Faratrass needs at least a couple of turns till she can reach him or Rya to recruit them.Enemy phaseHe can take only two hits.NPC phaseTurn 10Player phaseChristoph is saved. One cavalier can attack Fa, who will survive.Enemy phaseExpected. That also means that she still can't talk to one of them in the next turn, because she needs a healing item.NPC phaseThe NPCs makes my life miserable. They go after the second wave of cavaliers. And they're not able to kill this one, because he misses twice with 75%.Turn 11Player phaseI only can kill 1 of 3. Christoph (damaged) and Rya can't take two hits by them. I must hope that the A.I. will help me. I have a plan, how it could turn out well. One cavalier will attack Rya. She only can get attacked by one spot (the space below her, right of Christoph). The other one will attack Christoph. Both would survive. Hopefully I calculated the A.I. correclty...Maybe I played this chapter wrong. It'd be the better idea to cross the bridge in the beginning instead of using the way through the south. So I'd maybe the chance to visit the house in the north-west in time.PS: I replayed this chapter and used this mentioned strategy. It worked MUCH better for me. I could visit the house and I had by far less trouble with the reinforcements and the recruitments.Fa is saved... if she kills the cavalier next to her.goodEnemy phasefirst wave of the last groupThings will get more and more complicated.Yes, my feeling didn't betray me.At least they're save for now. Fa can talk to them in the next turn.NPC phaseIn this phase I really don't care for wasted experience. Keeping my units alive is all what counts for me atm.Turn 12Player phaseFa can finally talk to Rya:Rya: Wait, you there! Are you the princess of Hoikade? Fa: ... And even if I was?Rya: I'm Princess Rya of Magnolia. Your armed troops crossed Magnolia's borders, meaning that you've violated Lord Ohm's treaty of 892 which granted mutual aid between our countries. Fa: Ah let's this idiotic blabbering already, please! I'm the one who's being chased down by these Hoikaden troops!Rya: What did you say!?Fa: Are you deaf, chestnut? I said that those Hoikadens are trying to capture me. Rya: That's absurd. Why'd Hoikade fight its own princess?Fa: Listen, it's complicated.I just have to fight them, even if I dont want to. I don't have any choice. Rya: I see. But Magnolia won't tolerate any infringements of the old pacts. What happened in Hoikade isn't our business. You must leave now.Fa: I've a better idea. ... Since we both want to get rid of those soldiers, let's fight together. Rya: If you're aware of the complications that this decision implies, okay. But beware: if you lied about your true intentions, I'll be the one wanting your head. Fa: Heh, that's fine with me.The good thing: If Rya is recruited, Chrstoph becomes an ally automatically as well. This makes it quite a lot easier for me.A healing round. This chapter is pretty much done. Hellios can deal with all these shamans, who can't even do damage to him. Using the others would only end in a self destruction. Well, Rya has a good resistance, but she can't fight back from melee range. My other three shall deal with the boss. Rya should do lots of damage to him.I try to kill the cavalier not with Hellios.Enemy phaselast reinforcement groupRamov is going to move.He teleports to this spot... not a good spot for me at all.Turn 13Player phaseI've to change my plan. All my first tier units have to be sent out of any enemy attack ranges besides the boss. Ramov will attack Rya with his horseslayer from close range. That means I'll get only the javelin.Hellios will clean up all the shamans with his warp sword. What a waste of this great sword. :(Enemy phaseDamn, no horselsayer for me :(Meanwhile Hellios wrecks all the shamans.Turn 14Player phaseBossquoteFa: Corporal Ramov! Please stop this nonsense. How can you attack me, the princess and Vassal of your own nation!? Ramov: You pitiful fiend. First, you kill our comrades back at the castle... And now you dare use our princess as a shield? Pathetic! Let me teach you what honour is.perfect damage... but wrong weapon obtainedChapter is done. It was harder than I remembered.__________Replayed this chapter.A tonic in the house in the north-west.One cavalier drops an iron axe. Christoph cries for that. And I didn't waste the warp sword once.Fa's level ups were slightly better.(will show the changes later)However I still couldn't get the horseslayer.Rya grants her wish.Map storyChristoph is still wary of Fa.Fa gets to know the truth about Munie and her relationship to Hellios.a casual empress Edited March 1, 2016 by Mister IceTeaPeach
X-Naut
Even though the second fort looks safer, it's actually better to leave Fa on the first one because she'll be closer to both the enemy and your reinforcements. Meanwhile Hellios goes down south to get the houses (breaking the bridge doesn't slow him down, and it's faster to loop around) and returns by the time you need him to help clear Fa's path. LunaticScreamer
If you're also concerned, you can always trade Hellios's Elixirs over to Fa so she has some backup heals if her initial supply runs out. Also, when you asked about where Fa's unique battle theme comes from...it sounds very close to Kingdom Hearts II's "The 13th Struggle". Even if it isn't, it's almost definitely some kind of KH song (and very appropriate I must say).
MisterIceTeaPeach
[spoiler=Chapter 2 part 1]Before you can start chapter 2, three things happen: You've a world overmap. You can go to places you visited already and manage items or go shopping there. However there's no vendor or amory on the map yet. You've a supply. You've two new allies: AndreAndre is a pupil. He's a mage trainee like Ewan. He has very low base stats aside of speed and lower movement (4). Keep him safe and feed him with as many kills as possible and he'll turn out great. In all my runs he always turned out my best first tier unit.PuledraPuledra is basically a bishop. His stats are pretty low except for skill and resistance, but he can heal at least. There's one thing I've to mention: He's not first tier, but second tier. No joke, he's promoted. I asked Alfred for to make him first tier or improve his stats, but he's still the same as in the older versions. The worst prepromoted unit I've ever seen. His total of stat points is only slightly higher than Andre's - lol! Another thing, which pisses me off is his one luck. Each enemy can crit him. Why, just WHY?!Map story... probably the chapter with my worst perfomance EVER!Finally Fa realizes sth. like family in her life.Hellios' back storyFa's back story and relationship to MunieThe two new guys join.Old man teaches young boy how to become a voyeur.Caught in their act.Don't worry! He'll catch up his "master" in no matter of time.Rya brings them the good news of Phoebe's support.the first foundation stoneChristoph returns with bad news.more cavaliersexplanation of the chapter's titleIndirectly tells the mission type.Chapter 2 is a defend mission for 11 turns. You fight to lots of cavaliers with all three melee weapon types and 1-2 range weapons and a few soldiers. Tons of reinforcements will appear later and make your life miserable. The boss isn't too tough. You get a red jewel as reward for beating him, but you shouldn't beat him too early for a story reason. Fun fact: His name was changed from Tirado to Raidot. Some bosses have a changed order of letters to the FE8 bosses. You'll see more of them later. Honestly I don't know exactly, how to play this chapter perfectly. I played this one without real strategy, which you'll realize very soon. If you only want to watch a perfect run of this chapter, you'll get bitterly disappointed. Quite the opposite: This run turns into unintended bad comedy. :PThere's an amory, a vendor and two houses to visit. The house in the north-west is placed isolated in the mountains. You can't reach it without a flyer... so how to get it? Answer is following...I wished I could place my units. Christoph is way too far behind. He, Fa and Hellios would be my best front units.Turn 1Player phaseYou see, I go for the offensive immediately. I ignore the ballista.Since Christoph is too far behind, I've to block with my shitty bishop. Two cavaliers can attack him... and have a critchance.Enemy phaseAnd there he goes already... because I didn't check that the last one had a javelin. He didn't even survive one single turn. However this is one and only my fault.Deathcount: 1Cause: Forgot to check the enemy's equipment____________________________________Attempt #2Turn 1Player phaseKilled the soldier with Fa and Rya again. Rya can get attacked by two enemies (close range + javelin by the female cavalier), but she'll definitely survive.Enemy phaseblehNo one died this time - hooray! But Fa and Rya are heavily damaged.Turn 2Player phaseI can kill these two cavaliers easily.Andre's first killHellios visits the amory - nothing special to buy.... so he shall pull out some enemies. And you notice that Puledra stands next to Rya. You remember that Fa only had left 6 HP - OUCH!!!reinforcements - I knowambush reinforcements!? Well, goodbye Fa!Enemy phaseHe's the only one, who can't hurt her.RIPDeathcount: 2Cause: Ambush reinforcements + forgot healingWell, even a full healed Faratrass probably wouldn't survive this enemy phase. Five reinforcements appeared (two shamans + three cavaliers), who could reach her. That's the reason, why I'm a huge opponent of ambush reinforcements. You can't place your units safely, because you don't know, where they'll appear.__________________Attempt #3Turn 2Player phaseNow everyone is fine... and Fa is healed.Enemy phaseThe worst enemies are gone.Turn 3Player phaseI can handle these cavaliers. However I must hope that I won't get a "surprise" again.Strength and it'd be perfect for me.the three most important statsThis area is cleared. Rya got healed. Please no ambush spawn again! But of course ambush reinforcements! However no shamans this time, so my units should be fine.... But therefore dracoknights appear - perfect victims for Rya.Enemy phaseThis chapter would be hell without Hellios.excellentThis enemy phase worked well, but the problems aren't solved yet. Quite the opposite: The dracoknights worry me.
MisterIceTeaPeach
[spoiler=Chapter 2 part 2]Turn 4Menmus and two wyvern assisstents appear. One of them has an iron lance and the other one has a javelin. They're not too frightening.MenmusThe leader of this wyvern troop Menmus is recruitable with Faratrass. His stats aren't very spectacular. His steel axe will hurt you seriously, so beware! He'll oneshot Andre. His recruitment can be tricky, if you don't place your units carefully like I'll do later. Anyways even if you don't want to train him, you'll need him for this chapter to visit the house in the top north-west corner and in one chapter later to get some stuff.Player phaseI don't have to care for the dracos... yet. However Hellios shall weak the one with the iron lance.shitanother kill for Andre - He should become level 10 in the next chapter to promote.Enemy phaseanother ambush - That's what makes Menmus' recruitment difficult. The hint that the dracos will move too and Fa can recruit him.One of the ambush cavaliers has a steel axe, which hurts like a truck. The shaman is another problem.Turn 5I've to be prepared for the worst.Things get more and more complicated. I forgot about that ambush spawn (two cavalier and the shaman). The worst part: Fa can't reach Menmus because of the thickets. And I can't retreat because of the two remaining cavaliers next to me. Christoph is almost dead and placed so awkwardly that I can't really rescue him since Hellios is far apart from the others. If I knew about this ambush spawning, I'd not have played so aggressively (placed my units so far east). Now I've no other choice to kill as many enemies as possible and hope that everyone will survive somehow.Andre is safe and gets a good level up.Christoph is full healed, but he can't take a hit by the shaman and Menmus' steel axe. If he had got a defense or resistance points, I'd not have to worry about him anymore.Only two enemies left. Christoph is the only one, I've really to worry about. Actually I did a huge mistake here with Hellios. If he had killed the draco with a melee sword, I could have been sure that the shaman and Menmus would attack him. (or Menmus would attack Rya in close range with his steel axe) Hellios is sent towards south.Let's find out, if I'll be lucky or have to reset a third time.Enemy phaseJust a dumb move by myself: Wasting of exp. and uses of the warp swordPraying to god wasn't enough. Ugh...Deathcount: 3Cause: Played like a noob.___________________Attmept #4Turn 5Player phaseI play this chapter basically the same. Hellios just have to kill one of the dracos with his steel sword.Christoph is safe thanks to his defense point. Everyone will be fine.Enemy phaseSince Menmus can't kill Christoph anymore, he attacks Rya instead.Turn 6Player phaseMenmus' recruitmentFa: Why are you hesitating, Corporal Menmus? I'm the Demon King, am I not? This is no exception. Grab your weapon and do your job, Corporal.Menmus: ... I can't.Fa: What?Menmus: I was wondering of fighting you was the right idea to do. And it doesn't matter how long I keep thinking about it, I still feel that betraying the quenn would be horrible, absurd! Yet... Vassal, if you're telling the truth, how much pain do you carry inside? Look at us. A whole army. Fighting for something we believe in. And look at you. Alone. Abandoned by the ones you used to loeve. Maybe I'm thinking too much as usual. Or mayble I just got brainwashed. But now, looking in your eyes, I don't see the terrible Demon King. I can only see our beloved Vassal, the same who always cared about us. Fa: Sniff.. Corporal Menmus... You're wrong, I... I'mthe Demon King...Menmus: To my eyes, there are no doubts those tears are yours, not the Demon's. Fa: Don't do things you may regret. You fight for Hoikade, not for me. I don't want you to get in trouble for someone like me, Corporal. I don't want you to become like me. A fugitive... on the run...Menmus: I know this won't be an easy path. What I'm going to do will torment forever. But I don't know that if I don't follow my heart, I'll feel even worse. I fght for whaat I believe in. And now, Vassal... I believe in you.Menmus' only task in this chapter will be to visit the isolated house.Cattleya will join when the boss is defeated. You don't want to kill the boss too early not to get another powerful enemy you've to take care about.Enemy phaseanother ambushThankfully it went well this time.Turn 7The worst is over.Player phaseHe's good so far.Only the boss in his two guards are left.Boss will get attacked in enemy phase.Enemy phaseI can take these defend stats. However his hand axe broke.Turn 8Player phaseMenmus visits the shop. He buys a flash and thunder tome. More powerful magic is appreciated.Chistoph is the MVP and tragic hero in this chapter. She doesn't appear at once after Raidot's death. He misses.I only like the strength stat.Turn 9More reinforcements, but not as ambush this time. And Cattleya is here too in the south-west corner of the map. She won't reach my units in the remaining three turns. The reason, why you shouldn't kill the boss too soon. Follow Fa's advice!CattleyaCattleya has decent bases and two very nice swords. The obliatory killing edge and the hanabirachi, which gives her a skill and speed boost of +1. Only myrmidons can use it. You should let her survive at any price.Player phaseI place my trainee on the front. He can already take two hits.Menmus visits the first housewhich gives you access to another info. Enemy phase He did a bad job. Missed with 90%. Turn 10 Player phase meh Christoph will kick the dracos' ass. MisterIceTeaPeach
[spoiler=Chapter 2 part 3]Menmus visits the house in the top north-west.Anna gives him a very special lance. The agile hasta is a very weak, but accurate lance with a decent crit chance. Furthermore it has a brave effect. It's a cross of a slim, killer and brave lance. However not a good weapon for units with low strength. Menmus with his decent strength can benefit from this lance quite a lot. Kinda suspicious. It's the guide ordered by Phoebe, who shall bring Fa to Lazulis.Suddenly an enemy chick appears.I like her already not only because of her appearance. She makes short shift of him. Quite the badass.... And Fa isn't delighted about that at all. Not only because this person apparently tried to help her.great introductionso madreinforcements from nowhereFa is more blind than the silver haired girl.Fa is enlightened. She felt into a trap.MapChapter 3 is a seize mission. The seizing spot is free for now, but it'll change when the boss will appear. Fa is all alone and far apart from the group. There aren't any enemies close to her yet, but it change as well. Use the fort next to her to get the evasion boost. You have to leave one unit home. I think I can beat this chapter without Hellios. The enemies consist of thieves, brigands, archers and mages. One important advice: Only give healing items only to Hellios, Cattleya or to anymore who has >=12 speed. The enemy thieves will steal all your healing items. The brigand in the top south has a swordreaver, but he's stationary.Archers suck once more. Three speed... pfft! MisterIceTeaPeach
[spoiler=Chapter 3 part 2]panic among the banditsGarion is like a mentor for Djambo.Garion takes the throne and gets lots of helpers. [spoiler=Garion]He's recruitable with Faratrass, if she talks to him. He'll stay an enemy, but will join after this chapter. (forgot to screenshot him) He's a level 6-7 brigand with high strength and low skill and speed. He has a short axe. Turn 2Player phasealrightI may not press forward too far, because like Shiori mentioned ambush reinforcements will appear from the fort in the south. No more useless death please.Enemy phaseAnd here they are.Nothing happens in Shiori's area.Turn 3Player phaseThe enemies who do the most damage to my units are dead. The archer and mage shouldn't become a problem for me.Enemy phaseanother ambush spawn - this time from both fortsNow I could get a problem. Cattleya can get attacked by lots of enemies.Thankfully Cattleya has a good resistance.not too badNPC phaseShiori moves now. Menmus should stop her, if it's possible. I'm less worried that she'll die than she'll steal too much experience. The Hoikadens will appear soon. Enemies from everywhere.Again Shiori ORKOes everything.Turn 4Player phaseHe continues with great level ups.I had better Andres than this one.good first level upGetting my vulnerary back.I hope for no more ambush spawning. Cattleya can get killed by a brigand, but I guess she'll dodge.Enemy phasegood girlNPC phaseShiori uses the fort and gets auto heal.Turn 5Player phaseMenmus shall stop Shiori. I must take care about these archers. She has a good strength growth surprisingly.Money for visiting the red village. There's also a brown village, which will bring you absolutely nothing. So I ignore it. East of the mountains is another red village you should visit. It's ok. However I'd like to see strength. The Hoikaden dracos appear... and can already attack me.One of them chases Menmus, which bad. Not only that I can't attack this one, but also that Menmus will get into trouble.NPC phaseI may not allow that Shiori will attack Garion. Another tricky phase.Turn 6Player phaseTwo more dracos appear before the player phase. Menmus uses the fort to heal. He has the javelin equipped so that the draco with the short axe won't attack him anymore.Enemy phaseYeah, my strategy worked. He attacks Rya instead.NPC phaseShiori kills the brigand. Now she must be resuced.Turn 7Player phaseShiori has done her job. The mage doesn't move. The dracos are down.A bit more grinding for Andre.Turn 8final reinforcementsPlayer phasegrrTurn 9Player phaseThat's a level up I like to see for a myrm.Enemy phasenew weaponHoly fire is dark magic reaver. It's really powerful, heavy and has an advantage against dark and disadvantage against light. This hack features magic reavers.Turn 10Player phasemore strength - The strongest Rya I've ever had yet.Magic and speed are the most appreciated stats.Turn 11Player phaseRya will pull out the final enemies.Enemy phaseThanks to her great strength she can ORKO them.Turn 12Player phase Rya visits the other red house. I'm not quite sure, but I believe vortex = luna. Puledra seems to be a "Siegfried"-type.Fa misses.Cattleya finishes the job and gets a mediocre level. [spoiler=About Garion] He has no deathquote, if Fa has talked to him before. But in this case he had one. And if you see his deathquote, it means you missed his recruitment. My memories betrayed me. I thought the recruitment condition was that she had to attack him. But he had to talk to him, which she didn't do. If you didn't get Garion, you also won't get Djambo. That means I missed to recruit two units. Honestly I don't care for them, because I haven't used them yet. Djambo is a axe trainee (= Ross). Since Christoph is a great figher so far, I don't cry one single tear for them. Only missed Garion's short axe hurts a bit, because Christoph doesn't have any 2 range axes. MisterIceTeaPeach
[spoiler=Chapter 3 part 3]Meanwhile in the hideout of the bandits:A boozy party is going on.A cutscene with Garion is skipped due to his missed recruitmend.Anyway I was wrong. He wouldn't join right now. He's recruitable in the next chapter. contrast friendship...Is Fa possessed by the Demon King? [spoiler=Chapter 4 part 1]Map storyapparently lostThat's interesting! Although the Demon King is inside of Faratrass, Shiori can't sense any malice in her.MONSTERZIf Faratrass is possessed by the Demon King, monsters are summonded.Shiori will tell about reinforcements once more.MapChapter 4 is the first FoW chapter. You can bring everyone to this chapter. The goal is to reach Faratrass in 17 turns. The space two tiles below her is the spot you have to reach, Bringing and using Hellios to this chapter is very recommended. Faratrass herself is stuck and can't do anything in this chapter. Shiori is playable and has the exact same stats and weapons like in the previous one.You only fight these zombies (revenants) in the beginning, which have pretty much no stats except for HP and a bit strength. However more and new monsters will appear later. She recovers consciousness slowly. The Demon King is "talking" to her. These conversations take place after almost each turn. So more turns are passed, so more Fa gets desperate.understoodWhen the chapter starts, you can also see the boss. The boss isn't very tough. It'll be Hellios job, who can almost ORKO it.Turn 1Player phaseWow! She's great so far, especially her strength!A torch is welcomed in this chapter.More revenants are shown up.Hellios' tasks are to detect any monsters and to rush towards Fa.Easily ORKOed.You can barely see (at the back of the combat screen) that Andre detected two more enemies west from him. The problem is that he can't take two hits by them. However Rya is the attack range of one of these monsters too, so I hope she'll get attacked.Enemy phaseThis went perfect.Turn 2Lots of reinforcements appear by magic hand. Thankfully they don't appear as ambush in this chapter. However it applies: quantity > qualityI try to kill as many revenants as possible in this turn.Player phasegreat level upWhat's wrong with my Andre!?Light magic is effective against monsters.Only one monster is left. Cattleya is healedEnemy phaseWhy now?Turn 3Stationary eyeballs appear. These eyeballs are way more dangerous than the revenants, because their magical damage is very high since most of my units have a low resistance.circulum = poisons opponentvacuanox = light magic reaver (be careful with Shiori and Puledra)Player phaseHellios on the way to Fa.Bows are effective against eyeballs.poisonedughEnemy phaseWhoops - I forgot about his crappy luck.Turn 4no reinforcementsPlayer phaseI can forgive this one for having lots of great level ups before.Hellios detects the "powerful" enemies. He has to reach the boss from south.[spoiler=Shiori has to move towards north.]Because Garion will appear, if Fa talked to him in the last chapter. Shiori can recuit him. Since Fa didn't talk to him, he won't appear.
MisterIceTeaPeach
[spoiler=Chapter 4 part 2]Turn 5more revenant reinforcementsPlayer phaseShiori is waiting for someone... vainly because I noticed way too late that Garion won't appear in this chapter because of his deathquote. Damn!He can be promoted now. All in all I'm a bit disappointed. Only his speed is satisfying for his level. His magic and resistance growth were like 30%. Terrible for a magic user. These reinforcements aren't stronger at all. All of them could be eliminated.Hellios can reach the boss in two turns. These conversations become darker so more turns are passed. I won't let it happen to spare Fa.Turn 6Finally she locates Fa.a combination of revenant and eyeball reinforcements this timePlayer phaseonly one more turnStrength and speed are good enough already for me.These enemies are no match for me... because "normal" mode.Turn 7no reinforcementsPlayer phaseHellios does 2 x 11 damage to the boss with his iron sowrd. After he attacked, he moves one space below not to be in the 2 attack range of these maxed level tarvosses. I decided not to attack the boss with the warp sword to save uses.Enemy phaseTrue, if she's talking from my point of view.Turn 8new fast enemiesShiori was talking about these mouthe dogs. They're like myrmidons: skilled, fast but weak and fragile. However they're hard to hit and have a decent critrate. Tanky units don't have to worry about them though.Player phaseThe proof about their good evasion.Hellios finishes the boss and gets an (expected) awesome level up. He has to seize the spot two spaces below of Fa to end this chapter.Fa's coming to herself slowly. Her stats are heavily reduced, but it won't matter in the next chapter. silence for nowWith the sealing of the Demon King all the monsters vanish.apparently not!?Oh no, it's not a monster. Djambo's appearing from nowhere. This warning came too late...This happens, if you don't have Garion. If you get him, he'll wreck this revenant with an epic brigand critical and save Djambo. That means I've missed two recruitments already. Both were axe users (Garion = brigand + Djambo = Ross). However I don't really care for them, because I never ever have really trained them. Christoph is a very decent axe user so far so I don't need anymore atm. Menmus can use axes too and has the advantage being mobile. This is a really good question. Actually with the sealing of the Demon King, all the monsters should disappear. Strange...Actually she was referring to Djambo's death. She gets healed immediately.Fa explains how to seal the Demon King: :. (It wasn't a full sealing though. She only used her magical power. The only thing Fa can do, is to give them as much as possible time to let them prepare for the fight against the Demon King.If Fa dies, the Demon King becomes weaker.Only very few days left for her.Way better than Mist's speech.a very sad farewellNobody would.Maybe she has an idea? MisterIceTeaPeach
[spoiler=Chapter 5 part 1]Map storyMy favorite mission in a FE chapter!Meanwhile inSaai updates Munie about the latest happenings.Fa must be stopped.new and still secret ordersThis already explains the title of this chapter.Fa tries to cover up her current health and psychological condition. Actually she has nothing else left, because her time is running out.She clutches at any straw.Andre's promotionthe power of alcoholHe can promote to a mage or a wander pupil. Seriously Idk what wander pupil is since I never ever have reclassed him to this class yet. I only know that his movement is still four. However maybe his experience gain is higher. I can't say anything about the differences in the promotion gains besides that fact.As always I promote him into a mage. Surprisingly he gets no boost in magic, but 13 speed is great. He reminds me on Asvel.Battle preparationFor chapter 5 you only can bring one other unit besides Faratrass. It has to be Menmus. There's no reason to bring anyone else. I'll explain later why. You could beat this chapter without Menmus, but you'd miss some things. It's also the main reason, why should have recruited him in chapter 2.Waiting for the most hilarious person in this hack.It looks quite "schwarz" so probably the person she has to meet.Schwarz is a male pegasus knight. And he's not very enlightened that Fa thinks that he has a job women normally carry out.multiple discriminationSchwarz is explaining the mission:MapChapter 5 is a stealth mission, an unique misson objective in FE. It's a mission you've to enter a target point by not getting deteced at all. You don't fight at all. Something similar exists in one chapter in FE9, but in this one you have to avoid any combats with the enemies. The blue marked spot on the map overview is the target. Fa has to seize this spot within 30 turns. If an enemy attacks you or you attack an enemy, you'll lose. All the armor knights on this map are stationary. They only will attack you, if you're in their 1-2 attack range. The other enemies will move, if you're in their attack range. All the soldiers have a javelin and so a total of 7 attack range.More enemies will appear later.Anyways this chapter is like a puzzle. You have to make excellent use of your movement and check out each enemy attack range. You must visit these houses in a certain order. The reason for bringing Menmus is that you can visit a couple of red houses only by having two fliers. I'll explain later in detail. Before this chapter starts a soldier appears north of the second group of knights.Turn 1Player phaseBTW I forgot to show Schwarz's stats and equipment. Since you can't fight in this chapter, it doesn't matter that much. Will show them later.Enemy phaseAnother soldier appears behind the vendor. He'll move, if you're in his attack range.Turn 2This wall looks different. You can cross it with a flyer.Turn 3Keeping out of the enemy range of this solider. In the next turn Menmus will go shopping while Schwarz will visit the village.Turn 4When you visit the house, this will happen: The old soldier moves towards the house to see for the lady and will be replaced by a new soldier. Do you see the difference? He's placed one space right of the old soldier. It'll be crucial later.Turn 5quite useful tomes and mend the only safe spotTurn 6Schwarz takes Menmus' spot. Since the new soldier is one space further right now, Schwarz can take this spot. If you haven't visited the village yet, it's impossible to press forward towards north from this spot, because you'd be covered by one enemy's attack range at least.Turn 7If you cross the second wall, this happens.A soldier will appear from the north-west, who will automatically move and chase you. However good news: There's way to get rid of him. Furthermore a stationary soldier close to the exit appears. He's talking about the red marked house in the map overview. You better should follow this advice!Turn 8[spoiler=This happens if you visit the house you shouldn't.]an instant Game Over You better visit this house instead:The moving soldier disappears. Great news! Therefore a knight with a longbow appears who will also move if you're in his attack range.Turn 9Next targets are the two houses in the east of this platform.Turn 10After 10 turns Schwarz mentions (what I already did) that Fa has to seize this house. MisterIceTeaPeach
[spoiler=Chapter 5 part 2]Turn 11Once again you have to fly over these bolded wall tiles. (red line)Menmus has to do the same in the next turn.Turn 12Schwarz visits the yellow house:You get a croissant. You have to give this item to an other house. Since the red houses will give you items, you must bring it to the yellow house in the north west.Turn 13Menmus gets the croissant to bring it to the house in. A note: One flier should carry Fa and the other one the croissant at the same time.Another little note: The attack range of this knight will change after you've visited the house.Schwarz visits the house:Anna gives him another magic bow. It's more powerful than the lightninggrad, but also heavier and less accurate. The tile of the house entrance is uncrossable. The knight can't attack from this spot anymore.Turn 14Menmus flies towards the house to give away his croissant while Schwarz flies along the wall towards the exit.Turn 15Schwarz is standing still.Turn 16After Menmus visits the village, two things happen: The soldier on the top of the map moves one space towards left. It's crucial to finish this chapter. Another knight with a 2 range weapon appears, who'll move if you're in his attack range. Now Schwarz can drop Fa, who could seize in the next turn. But I still have to visit two more houses. If you haven't given the croissant to this child, you can't beat this chapter.[spoiler=The dialogue, if you don't give the croissant to the child.] He must fly towards the southern house. You can visit the red house on the top only on the turn Fa seizes, because you can't get out of any enemy attack ranges.Turn 17Turn 18Turn 19The preparations are done. Menmus can visit the house and Schwarz can rescue him after that. This is the point why to bring Menmus, because you can't get this house without a second flier. Schwarz's movement of 7 wouldn't be enough to get out of any enemy attack ranges. He needs someone, who can rescue him.Turn 20Visiting the village:An item, which gives you 10 exp. by using it. Quite nice whenever someone has >=90 exp. After visiting the house:Another soldier appears, who'll automatically move. That's the reason, why should visit this house after you dropped Fa on the top platform, because otherwise this soldier would trap you very soon.Menmus is rescued. He's not needed anymore, so Schwarz will carry him for the rest of this chapter.Enemy phasea possible problem caseTurn 21Turn 22Schwarz must reach the final red house from the west beause of this knight.Turn 23The obligatory spot to be safe and to reach the house in the next turn.Turn 24Visiting the red village on the top:It's similar to the lance from chapter 2: An axe with brave effect, high crit chance, accurate but very weak.Fa finishes this chapter. This chapter made my brain streaming.I really love this idea. It's like a puzzle and you have keep an eye on the enemies' attack ranges at any time. She's down again.rescue on the last secondHer stats returned back to normal.new allyHer appearance kept well. However her bed was the floor...Shiori had to carry her to the bed. Merc Ee
I love this chapter. Why can't there be more chapter like this? I still gladly remember the two hours I dedicated making a strategy for Ch. 5.
