Awakening Challenges

Hi, guys. Sorry for two topics in one day, but I had to get this one off my chest, too. Recently, I decided to change things up a little and came up with some 'challenges' for Fire Emblem Awakening to keep playing the game interesting and fresh (kinda) and I decided to share them with you guys.

Challenge 1: Story-characters only

This is a challenge that involves using only major characters (those that get heavily featured in cutscenes and story segments and are 'crucial' to the plot) throughout the game. The usable characters for this challenge are:

Chrom, Avatar, Lissa, Frederick, Lucina, Say'ri, Tiki, Flavia, Basilio (and maybe Gangrel, Walhart, Emmeryn, Yen'fay and Aversa)

Difficulty: any

Special conditions: only these characters are allowed to do battle at any given point in the game.

Challenge 2: Chon'sin

This is a challenge that involves using only classes that are styled after japanese soldiers and/or appear in Yen'fay's paralogue.

Usable classes for this challenge are:

Myrmidon

Archer

Thief

Mercenary

Bow Knight

Swordmaster

Assassin

Trickster

Hero

Difficulty: any

Special conditions: all characters that can be Swordmasters must be Swordmasters. Only Killing weapons can be used (once they are available)

Challenge 3: Lunatic+ no grind, full deploy (or if that is too easy, tack on no passing down GF or Vet, no Nosferatu, no Spotpass purchases)

Challenge 4: No support building besides Chrom, no pairup run on hard mode, no grind and full deploy of course (to clarify, you can't access the support menu to upgrade available support ranks, besides Chrom and his wife)

When you say full deploy, do you mean simply having as many units as you can on the map at once, or trying to train them all? Because the latter doesn't really work.

Basically, non-solo/duo.

You don't have to fill every slot for every chapter or train every recruit.

Nope. In a grinding run, maybe, but getting every single child is not a standard thing.

There aren't enough deployment slots to do it even in Normal (since you have to build support between 12 sets of parents), so you'd have to switch out team members constantly and keep a close eye on getting units as much support as they need each chapter. In Lunatic+ nogrind where fielding and training a full team is already borderline suicidal, it's an even bigger challenge because now you've got to figure out how to get the parents you won't be training to marry safely and quickly at low levels while not hogging exp that your combat units need.
