First, Toxic can be cured via Aromatherapy / Heal Bell.

Secondly, Wish is far superior to Aqua Ring. You can also pass it along to another Pokemon and, more than likely due to Vaporeon's larger HP, get most, if not all, of your health back.

I can go with this set then.

Wish(More reliable)

Surf

Hidden Power(Electric)/Shadowball

Ice Beam

Toxic still isn't bad, and it can be used over Ice Beam or HP Electric. I would keep HP Electric if only to deter Starmie from staying in and nuking you or keeping Gyarados from 6-0 the team.

If you're running Wish, why not run Protect with it? Then you don't have to worry about that second turn, at least for Vaporeon itself.

Yes, very true.

You also have no real chance of losing to Bounce Gyarados either unless you run out of Protects somehow. Just make sure to pack that Hidden Power Electric.

Very well. I can go with this.

Porygon_Z

Nature:Modest

Ability: Download

Held Item: Choice Specs

Tri-Attack

Ice Beam

Recover

Dark Pulse

Very well. I can go with this.

Tri Attack stands for being the best choice for Porygon-Z. It should get Ice Beam to swat away Steel, Flying, Ground, Grass, and Dragon Types. Recover for healing in Wifi; and Dark Pulse to hit any Pokemon. Since it can't have Nasty Plot with this set, download is needed to help give it a Sp.Attk boost in some battles by 1 level. =)

Wut.

Adaptability is still better to smack something in the face with Tri Attack. And BoltBeam is popular for a reason.

Nature:Modest

EVs: 4 HP/252 Sp Atk/252 Spd

Ability: Adaptibility

Held Item: Choice Specs

Tri-Attack

Ice Beam

Trick

Thunderbolt

Porygon has high Sp Attack but it's stats are mediocre everywhere else, so Tri Attack fits it perfectly. Trick can cripple an enemy trying to set up on you and gives you ability to access all of your moves without switching. BoltBeam has great coverage. Just asking, have you ever played anyone that didn't come from Serebii?

And BoltBeam is popular for a reason.

Let me go into a tiny bit more depth into this: BoltBeam is only resisted by very few Pokemon: Magnezone, Lanturn, Shedinja, Frost/Heat Rotom, Lightningrod Seaking, and Mamoswine with Thick Fat. That's only 6 Pokemon out of 649, and you're not likely to see very many of those. Everything else is hit at least neutrally, making them one of (if not the best) coverage moves.

Yep. Had some matches beforehand at FESS.

Today's Pokemon

Golem

Nature: Jolly

Held Item: Quick Claw

Protect/Substitute

Explosion

Rock Slide

Earthquake

Only set I'd recommend. Because of it's brittle Sp.Defenses and low speed. Protect/Substitute is needed to know if your opponent carries Grass, and or Water Moves. Which it has quad weaknesses to. Quick Claw is needed to help it attack first sometimes. Has garbage speed. Jolly to get it to grow as much Speed as possible. I'd pump 252 EV into both Sp.Def and Speed. 6 can go to attack. For it's attacks...it also gets STAB to both of these moves as well. =)

Again, Quick Claw is technically banned under Smogon competitive play. Not sure with Serebii, though they often follow suit with our rules.

As for the Golem set, it's "okay", but the EVs are godawful. You're either making Golem a bulky hitter or full out offensive. Jolly with 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe best suits Rock Polish Golem. Choice Band should opt for Adamant since Jolly isn't really getting a major jump on anything. I would also question this as inferior to (F)Aggron, which is a little faster after an Automotize and fires off STAB Head Smash with no recoil. If you're going for an offensive tank sort of approach, 44 Spe EVs, max Atk, 212 HP Adamant should be used. Finally, Stone Edge is superior to Rock Slide.

Also Explosion sucks now because it doesn't halve the enemy's Def like it did in previous generations. It should only be used as a filler possibly on Choice Band.

This set is infinitely superior to yours:

- Rock Blast

- Earthquake

- Sucker Punch

- Stealth Rock

If you're not afraid of Substitute, Stone Edge can work over Rock Blast just fine.

Actually, Aggron isn't allowed into NU, which is where you'd be using Golem, most likely. Admittedly it still has competition in Gigalith, but Golem has Sucker Punch and STAB on EQ over it, at least.

Today's Pokemon Dusknoir

Nature: Timid, Modest, or Neutral

Held item: Muscle Band, Spell Tag/Spooky Plate, or Leftovers

Shadow Sneak/Dark Pulse/Pursuit

Calm Mind

Psychic/Shadowball/Night Shade

Torment/Will-O-Wisp/Imprison

If u teach it Shadow Sneak for it's first move, it will get to attack first plus getting STAB to this as well. Definitely great to have for it's good attack growths. Pursuit is also good for if your opponent tries to switch their Pokemons, it'll do double the damage to the Pokemon before it gets switched out! Dark Pulse for a given 20% chance at flinching your opponent. 30% if u have the King's Rock.

Calm Mind needed to power up it's special attacks for it's bad Sp.Attk. Psychic/Shadowball/Night Shade are all good bets. If u want a Physical attacking Dusknoir, then definitely give it Night Shade. This attack, like Demi...it cannot be reduced DMG no matter what. On Wifi, it'll either do 50 or 100 damage. Torment is a consideration for the fourth move to prevent your opponents from using the same move more than once. The opponent's Pokemon is toast if it knows only one attack move. =) Will-O-Wisp is another good choice as well. Imprison should be considerable only if u teach it attacking moves that most of your opponents will likely teach their pokes in the end. Like Shadowball, Psychic, Dark Pulse, Calm Mind, etc. Unless u switch it out of battle after this move is used, it will prevent your opponents from using any of the moves that your Pokemon knows that theirs do. =)

Meoletta

Nature: Serious

Held Item: Wise Specs

Ability: Serene's Grace

Calm Mind/Rest/Bulk Up

Close Combat

Relic Song

Psychic

Good set overall. =)

Relic Song will get her to transform into Pilloette form to give STAB to both Relic Song (it actually gets STAB to either of her forms; and has a chance to put your opponents to sleep) and Close Combat. Psychic will get STAB to her Aria form. Calm Mind/Rest/Bulk Up are good choices for the last move! She also gets Serene Grace doubling it's effect of Relic Song's chance to putting an opponent to sleep.
