STATUS: Pretend-scripting and MOAR MAP PLANNING.

I am looking for experienced spriters, either in portraits or battle sprites.

Okay so anyone frequenting the art forums probably already know that I'm working on a project which will eventually be created with FEXNA, whenever that's released to the public. (I would make it a hack, but I unfortunately do not possess the means to do the things I want.)

This game is based on a written story that takes place on a medieval planet. The actual story has significantly less action and tends to be based more on the characters themselves as they struggle through war. So the game will have an altered plot to make it more fit to be a game.

The story is centered mostly around Ryan, the young prince of Triannos who gets separated from his parents when a mysterious army attacks his homeland. He is then forced to take up arms and fight, much against his will, in order to survive...and later, to save his kingdom.

I have planned name changes for most common weapons, a few 'new' classes, and some other renamed classes.

[spoiler=Items]

The biggest change I've made is "fixing" FE weapon names. Mostly because it's always bugged the heck out of me that the tiers go Iron->Steel->Silver when silver is clearly NOT a very strong metal, and the former two are FAR better materials to make weapons from.

Bows/Lances follow a tier of Decent/Good/Great (Because both bows and lances were usually made of wood back then, and even the GBA icons seem to show that they're made of wood, except SIlver.)

Swords/Axes follow a tier of Bronze->Steel->Gilded. (As suggested by a friend of mine who knows more about metals and their abilities than I do lol.)

Various characters get their own special items.

[spoiler=Characters]

(Any comments on sprites should be directed to my sprite topic, please. The link is in my sig.)

Credits to bonestorm99 and shinycharmander for various sprites, and aeo for some fixes.

Ryan the first Lord:

2yhUIdh.pngX2z4J6B.png

A young, kind-hearted prince who desires to be a wise ruler and skilled warrior like his father, but because of his gentle nature and young body, he tends to fail at the latter. Having been the sheltered, doted prince of a happy marriage, he has yet to experience many of the evils which this world is filled with...

He focuses more on speed with skill and res as the next highest stats. His defense is his weakest stat.

Clarence the Lun. Lancer:

tgNcDpV.pngBltryQ4.png

A serious man from a country far, far away, who seems to be of a different species of human than Bewanians. His country has a military rule that partners every one of its members with another, and unfortunately for him, he was paired with Kedar. He has a slightly selfish, narrow-minded nature and often finds himself realizing that things are quite different than what he originally passed over.

His strengths are HP, Str and Def, with lower speed and a severe weakness to magic.

Kedar the Lun. Archer:

DTvIucl.png4NfusYj.png

A custom animation is being made by myself for this fellow.

A playful, carefree man from a country far, far away. He tends to be rather mischievous at times, and prefers casual speech over honorifics. His country's military paired him with Clarence, whom just so happens to be the perfect personality type to get good reactions out of. Hides a compassionate side.

His strengths are HP and Skill, with strength and speed being next in line. Like Clarence, he holds a major weakness to magic.

Colan, the Cavalier:

coAXJ1R.png

A somewhat mild-mannered man who can get very fiery when it comes to his nation, his general or his kingdom's royalty being disrespected. He works directly under General Millicent, and serves as her right-hand man and sub-commander.

Brianna the Pegasus Knight:

xx3LjkK.pngzN8MY2g.png

A pegasus knight working directly under General Millicent, who is known for her serious nature and occasional temper-flares. Has her eye on a certain male in her military troop, and looks up strongly to General Millicent.

Molly the Knight:

llKgaJb.pngudMp2eL.pngE8tMEMA.png

A young girl with a timid, bashful personality who tends to have a hard time with her sentences, often starting off one way, pausing, and beginning again another way. She tends to look up to General Mather, despite not being one of his underlings, and keeps to herself for the most part.

Rolt the Nomad/Ranger: (Starts as Nomad, promotes to Ranger) because I hate the nomad trooper's sword animation

UN19p8Z.pnguXCqm5G.pngsyaZVBV.png

(One day I may edit his ranger sprite to include the bandana, but I'm too lazy atm.)

A serious man known for his sharp tongue and aloof personality. The only person he gets along with on a daily basis is General Fremont. He can usually be found pampering his horse during peacetime,
or honing his archery skills.

Neila the Cavalier:

PsClroK.pngO552E5x.png

A somewhat aloof woman who rarely goes out of her way to speak to others, but if spoken to, she will hold a conversation. She holds a rather tragic past which fuels her desire to improve and become the best knight she can be. She can be found during peacetime quietly talking to her horse about things.

Doran the Monk:

C9EaKdW.png32am9p9.pngORb1h4K.png

Can I just say I hate the monk sprite for the robes sharing the same colors as the cape?

A light magic-user from Solar Kingdom who tends to be a little...absent-minded, at times. He tries to be a good example of Solar Kingdom's military, but it's simply not in him to do so. Often gets scolded by his childhood friend.

4MEgmQx.pngqAXuXA8.pngNBMgXMO.png

(Same as above with the Priest sprite)

A noble who would rather be spending time in the royal library with the musty smell of old tomes and ancient scrolls than to be outside or actively communicating with others. Despite this, he has a meek personality and can be very talkative at times. He and Ryan have been friends for several years, and he sometimes serves as the boy's teacher.

Kendra the Thief/Assassin

4SvCs27.pngF4Wj3aX.pngGmzESnD.gif

A quiet woman with a mysterious origin and subdued personality. She serves the Lunar King with the sole purpose of desiring his praise. She is Evoidian, but will deny it to anyone who mentions her heritage. (She is of Evoidian descent, she says) She almost always keeps to herself, approaching royalty only when her job demands it, or when her master summons her.

Millicent, the prepromote Falconknight

oSgOHDk.png4VUlbRf.png

A woman whose determination to enter the military and follow her father and grandfather's footsteps made her take of a male identity and become a recruit. Upon her knighting, she admitted her deceit, but King Eric kept her anyway. Now, she's known as being a level-headed woman who challenges any man who says women shouldn't be knights. She is the general of the white-armored portion of Triannos' army.

Mather, the prepromote General

qw0EqJQ.png

A stern man who takes his job as general VERY seriously. And rightfully so, as he is the second-in-command of all Triannos' army. He's known for being wise, and despite his somewhat old age, he's still quite strong. His strict personality tends to lift when he is alone with his king.

Fremont, the prepromote Paladin:

h441RHN.png
Originally a mere commoner, Fremont's extreme tactical mind led his superiors to consider promoting him. Now he is one of the Three Generals of Triannos. He tends to be a very friendly, mild-mannered man when not on duty, but feels as if he has to be serious and stern when carrying out his duties as general.

And many other characters... A total of 29.

[spoiler=SUPPORT INFO]

Because supports are one of my favorite parts of FE. No, seriously, they are. And ENDINGS? YES. BRING ON THE ENDINGS.

However, because I am writing ALL these supports myself, I have been mostly limiting the supports each character has to four. Endings are typically maxed at two, although Ryan has more support options and three endings because FE GBA Lords always have a lot of friends.

[spoiler=Affinity LIst]

Some character names are still not actually set, and thus are named with names that having meaning to me and probably not to you. :D

Anyway, despite not actually having the means to MAKE this into a game atm, I have been working heavily on it. I already have the first few chapters' text drafted up (it needs to be refined, but for now, it'll do) and have been working on various not-so-important aspects, such as battle sprites, chapter maps and supports.

[spoiler=Prologue]

This chapter is a 'before crap happened' chapter, in which allows the player to get a little aquainted with the characters in their daily lives before...crap happened. It also serves as a bit of a warm-up chapter. I know MOST players hate tutorials, so the most I ever do is have characters explain things as in-character as possible. lol

j6ZYyI1.png

In this chapter, Ryan is simply doing some training.

Mather: You are a bit late, Your Highness. That is quite unlike you.

Ryan: Sorry, General Mather! I was studying up on the Legend of the Two Swords, and forgot about
the time.

Mather: So you were studying. I see... Very well. I hope you are ready for a test, Your Highness.

Ryan: A test?

Mather: Your Father, the king himself, planned your training session for today. He wanted to see
whether or not you possess tactical excellence.

Ryan: R-Really? Why would he want to do that? I'm only fourteen...and it's not like I have any
experience in that sort of thing.

Mather: His Majesty heard that you can play a very excellent game of Knights-And-Castles. Now, are
you ready to start the test?

Ryan: Knights-And-Castles? Oh, right...the little game where we use pebbles as men and conquer the
other person's territory. (smiles) Well, I guess if Father wanted to test me, I'll accept!

Mather: Good. I have already assembled a few men for you to defeat. Come this way.

[spoiler=Chapter 1]

acNY5jb.png

Ryan's escape from Triannos Castle's inevitable doom. (Arrows show cutscene unit movements; the druid attacks the falconknight, and afterward Ryan, the cavalier and the toubadour flee off screen)

16whx8K.png

Unit Placements for the prologue map. (Enemies at the edges of the screen are reinforcements)

Rather than start with a Jagen unit (which will be ignored for most of the game,) I decided to start this game out with three units. The chapter type is Route Enemy.

All three units start with their own custom items: Ryan with a traditional Effective Against Infantry sword, a torch, and a vulnerary, Clarence with a custom spear, and Kedar with his own custom bow.

A bit of text from the chapter:

(Soldier enters) Y-Your Majesty! Pardon my intrusion, but I bring grave news!

Eric: Go on.

Soldier: A massive battalion of black-armored soldiers has appeared on the far horizon, and they
appear to be heading this way! The generals are discussing what to do as we speak, but they
all agree that we may be unable to fend off those numbers. Your orders, Your Majesty?

Clarence: I see you have a sword. You're young, so I can imagine you won't be able to do much
damage, but you should try to take on that man with the axe. Lightweight swords are great for
taking advantage of the axe's large mass and weight.

Ryan: B-But...what about you? You look like you could fight him easier than I could!

Clarence: That's the thing. I have a spear... Spears aren't very thick and are normally made
of lightweight materials, or wood. An axe could chop a spear in half. Kedar and I will take
on the other enemies; you take care of this guy.

[spoiler=Chapter 2]

3avt1sr.png

Chapter type: Defeat Boss. (The enemy Knight is the boss)

Takes place at night, so Fog of War will probably be a thing. However, both Ryan and the player Knight start with a Torch item in order to help the player in this chapter. Due to the fog of war, there are less units in this chapter than the former.

The Cavalier starts with a Bronze Sword, Decent Lance and Vulnerary. The Knight starts with a Decent Lance, Torch and Vulnerary.

The boss wields a Javelin.

(When the cavalier and knight appear on the map)

Colan: Is that...the sound of fighting? Blast! Why does the moon have to be so slim? I can hardly
see in this darkness!

Molly: Sir... We... I have a torch. If I use it... Y-You can deal with any nearby enemies, right?

Colan: Of course. But you should try fighting as well. I know you weren't properly knighted, but
the best way to gain experience is to try doing things yourself.

Molly: Y-Yes, Sir...

Colan: Now...let's investigate. Perhaps we will find His Highness, after all. And if we spot any
Evoidians... They are going down! This I promise!

(Using the Talk command between Ryan and Colan)

Colan: Your Highness! Thank goodness I've found you!

Ryan: You...you're one of Millicent's men, aren't you?

Colan: Yes! I have been looking all over for you, along with Molly. Have you been well, Your
Highness?

Ryan: Yes... I was chased by Evoidians, but these two strangers came and helped me. They've been
traveling with me ever since...

Colan: Ah... I am glad that they have protected you, Your Highness. Now, please stand back--Molly
and I will handle the rest.

Ryan: No...I-I will fight too. My father would never allow others to fight for him while he stood
back and watched.

Colan: ...You're right. Very well, but at least let us keep nearby. It is our duty to protect you
from harm, after all.

Ryan: Okay.

[spoiler=Chapter 3]

r7ELEQk.png

Chapter Type: Defeat Boss

Note: This does not include all reinforcements.

The shop sells Vulneraries and Torches, while the armory sells Bronze Swords, Slim Swords, Decent Lances, Slim Lances and Decent Bows. The houses give 500 and 1000 gold respectively.

The bandit and pegasus knight appear on about the third turn. Enemies near the wall have long-ranged weapons in order to attack you with. The boss (The knight on the forest tile) has a Bronze Lance and Javelin.

A quote from one of the villages:

Woman: Oh my goodness! You look just like the king! You must be Prince Ryan!
Ryan: I am.
Woman: Oh dear. I hope you have knights with you! This town is swarming with
Evoidian soldiers! We want to help, but none of the villagers have any experience with
weapons... Ah, here! There's an armory and shop in town. Use this gold to purchase supplies.
Ryan: I-I can't take your gold... Don't you need it?
Woman: Don't worry, Your Highness. In this town, the villagers like to share all of our
supplies. We have little need for gold, outside of buying things from traders. Please,
take it.
Ryan: If...if you're sure... Thank you.
Woman: Please, think nothing of it. Take care, Your Highness.

[spoiler=Chapter 4]

ZIKunyF.png

Chapter type: Defend Unit.

The player must make it to Clark (the NPC Priest who is standing on a fort tile and has a vulnerary to heal himself with) and recruit him before that lone soldier kills him. After that, the chapter can be dealt with via a typical Wait-It-Out or Blitz strategy which Defend chapters are known for.

The town gives an antitoxin because the bandit on the mountain has a poison axe.

(No quotes atm. Will come later.)

[spoiler=Chapter 5]

q0j0Til.png

Chapter Type: Defeat Boss

Ryan and company are passing through an area when they realize it has been overrun by bandits. Realizing that his father would never stand for this sort of thing, Ryan decided to engage the bandits and take them out.

A typical bandit filler chapter, but it leads to something slightly more important in the next chapter over, when you enter the bandits' lair. Circled units on this map are reinforcements. (Red-circled units come later than the purple)

[spoiler=Chapter 6]

EeoFNFV.png

I realize after doing this chapter that I semi-fashioned it after chapter 3 in FE8. OH WELL.

At the start of the battle, the mage (as an NPC/enemy) runs up and attacks Kedar. Upon realizing her mistake, she apologizes and gives him an elixir. She then joins the player's team.

Circled units are reinforcements. The pirate fellow appears on the third turn with the keys needed to open the chests.

[spoiler=Chapter 7]

iWceEWj.png

An offbeat chapter where Malena (the mage) takes the group to some nearby ruins which are said to house unique weapons. Unfortunately as they get there, they find a ruffian and his league of tamed wolves searching the area for said weapons.

There are a lot of cracks in the walls for aesthetic purposes; the actual walls that are breakable are circled in red. This is the first chapter where Battle Preparations become a thing, so to mimic that, I placed gradient tiles for unit placements.

[spoiler=Chapter 8]

9n7FnTV.png

The next chapter, where you recruit Kendra and defend a family of villagers from enemy units. Circled units are reinforcements.

The armory sells tier 1 and tier 2 weapons, also heal/mend and both variants of Torch items.

[spoiler=Chapter 9]

2yuiYnP.png

A Fog of War chapter, where I decided to throw a bunch of dropped slayer weapons onto enemy units. (These will come in handy in the next chapter.)

[spoiler=Chapter 10]

dMZ8Rel.png

A survival/defend chapter where you have to defend the gate (Tile where Ryan's icon is located) for 12 turns. Circled units are reinforcements, and different colors mean they appear on different turns.

Of course, it would be FAR too easy to simply have your units sniping the enemies from within the walls, so the river tiles are a hazard that allow enemies to enter in, if they can cross that terrain type. There's also breakable walls which the enemies WILL try to break, and flying units to hassle you. Also, a thief appears on the third turn and unlocks the gate at the south.

I will post more later on. For now, maybe this topic wasn't TOO much of a waste of your time to read/skim over.

Well, this looks interesting, and totally not only because I like your sprite thread.

Although, for Chapter 2 I don't think you should give a tan-roofed house any items; those are usually purely for information about the game.

Thanks. XD

Ah, never realized that. This is what I get for only playing FE7 like, twice. I've noted that and will update the map shortly.

what sort of things do you want to do in the game that you can't through hacking?

Have sprites that go beyond 16 colors. And maybe have items that don't all share the exact same palette.

...Especially that second one. I don't know how I will be able to make Glevis work with FE8's item palette. ;>_> It barely works as it is because it's hard to fit that design into a 16x16 sprite. Dj1uTs7.png

This is what I get for allowing my friends to tell me that I needed to make my sword designs fancier.

My main issue is that if I hack ANY FE game, it's going to be FE8. And maybe things have changed since I was last part of the hacking community, but the general thing was that few people liked FE8 and almost everyone hacked FE7 so trying to get help with the more complicated parts of hacking with FE8 was difficult.

Disclaimer: Not a real title screen. lol

Okay so anyone frequenting the art forums probably already know that I'm working on a project which will eventually be created with FEXNA, whenever that's released to the public. (I would make it a hack, but I unfortunately do not possess the means to do the things I want.)

The title comes from the two swords which are shown in the title screen image. Glevis, the Sword of Golden Light, is the weapon which the main character will eventually come to own, and bears a sun motif. Atterox, the Blade of Chaotic Darkness, is the weapon of the final boss and bears an eclipse motif.

The story will be centered around a young prince, named Ryan, who barely escapes Triannos castle when their neighboring kingdom, the Evoid Empire, invades them. It has a total of 27 planned chapters (including the prologue and Final Chapter) and 29 planned characters.

It's great to see you're still hacking! Can't wait to see where you take this project!

Will Luke be making an appearance in it?

Sadly, no. He doesn't belong in this particular story. However, your question has made me consider making Blizzard Blade into an eventual fan game as well. Maybe if all goes well with this one, I can try Blizzard Blade later. (Pretty sure Blizzard Blade would require a lot more work than this story, so this could serve as a warm-up.)

are you the person who made Link's War?

Finally xD. I know who to credit for my #1 favorite hack.

Omg how is that your favorite hack? It was just a reskin. (I feel really honored to hear someone say that was their favorite hack, though, so don't get me wrong. XD)

Wait. You've hacked before? Wow... I actually didn't know that.

Yeah, waaaaay back. So long ago that I don't think Event Assembler was even a thing back then. (and if it was, it was just being made) I later had another hack that I was working on, but as I said in another thread around here, I corrupted chapter 1's events somehow (the game freezes upon trying to load the reinforcements) and in order to fix it I'd have to make a completely custom chapter events thing, I think. Which I could do, but I've since moved on to other things lol.

I have been stealthily updating the first post with more content, and will continue to do so, haha.

I would like to put out a notice that I am looking for experienced spriters for the following purposes:

1: I would like various characters to have multiple portraits with different emotions, similar to how FE7 has various portraits for its lords. I have actually tried doing this myself, but I'm not good at it.

2: Someone to clean up/touch up sprites and make them look better.

3: Anyone who can custom/semi custom battle sprites and actually do a decent job at it. (I have been semi-customing Kedar's battle sprite myself, but I have other things I could really use help with, such as lord animations.)

I reserve the right to edit colors as I see fit for any submissions.

If you're interested in helping out, please PM me.

In case you didn't know- in the resource animation topic, there are both a less nomadic bow knight and a monk with a fixed color scheme so the cape/clothes are separate colors.

There are also some nice other animations you can use and there's a link to another forum that has a ton of magic animations and other similar animations for you to use.

I looked the topic over and downloaded a couple of things. Shame they're already 'compressed' for FEditor and I don't have them in plain form like vanilla animations, but oh well. Thanks for the head's up!

[spoiler=Ryan x Clarence C Support]

(Load Clarence, left)

Clarence: ......

(Load Ryan, right)

Ryan: Clarence?

Clarence: Prince Ryan. May I help you?

Ryan: I'm just wondering why you're acting so absent-minded. Usually it's Kedar that acts like

that.

Clarence: ...You're right. I'm sorry if I worried you, Prince Ryan.

Ryan: ...Is something troubling you?

Clarence: ...No. I'm just...feeling a bit homesick. All this battling is reminding me of my

homeland.

Ryan: Why would fighting remind you of your country?

Clarence: ...The kingdom I'm from is always at war with one of its neighbors. Whether it's over

territories, resources, or simply a dispute between the rulers differed, but we were always at

war.

Ryan: That's terrible!

Clarence: ......

...I guess it is.

Ryan: What?

Clarence: ...I never thought of it before, to be honest. Wars are such a constant thing that the

people who live there hardly pay it any mind. The only time we ever truly consider how bad it is,

is when someone we love dies. I've never lost anyone to war, so I hadn't stopped to think about

it.

Ryan: ......

Clarence: ...But enough about the past. We better step back into the present. We have a battle

to finish. *

Ryan: You're right. Okay, let's go.

* Not sure what method Yeti's been using for FEXNA's supports: base supports or battle. If they're typical FE6-8 supports, this line will stay as is. If it's more like more recent support mechanics, I'll change it.

Some of the later maps look interesting to say the least... and is that a playable wolf?

Yes. Although whether it remains in the game depends on whether or not Char actually wants me to use the sprite he made ages ago, and whether or not I can code FEXNA to not allow the wolf to enter houses/villages. (Dogs can't talk, after all.)

Why does Chapter 8 look like it was made with FE7's tile set?

It's made with FE8 tilesets, but I have a "fog of war" overlay on it to remind myself that it's a fog of war chapter.

It really looks like this:

First, awesome.

(Disclaimer: I haven't touched eventing in a long time, so the following could be inaccurate/flat-out wrong.)

Second, it may be a bit annoying and repetitive, but couldn't you just do that through events? Like, if it's the wolf entering a village/house — or any other monster-type character you might want to include for that matter — it could play a scene (maybe even the same scene every time if you want to be conservative with text) where the occupant or a guard chases the wolf away. Then if it's not the wolf, the village/house plays as normal. Assuming your goal is building this on FEXNA, it would have something like the IFCA code, right?

Hell, if you even want to get creative with it, you could have certain animal-friendly villagers give the wolf something different than what they would give a human character. That would be kind of neat.

Let the wolf in anyway and just have it bark and howl and stuff, and make villager reactions be exactly the same as normal! I've seen games that do that before and it's generally really hilarious.

Hell, if you even want to get creative with it, you could have certain animal-friendly villagers give the wolf something different than what they would give a human character. That would be kind of neat.

Using an If/then command is certainly something I can do. (I will have to use it anyway for the usual FE reasons--scenes that include characters which might have died, visiting villages with different units, etc.) I don't know if recruitment conversations run on an if/then command, but if they do, I will probably be abusing that, lol.

Also, I am imagining Hyrule Castle Town when Wolf Link ran through it, and it is hilarious. I might do that, and also take your suggestion about making a village or two give you a different item.

really digging that chapter 9 bro

Pretty inspiring look if I do say so myself.

Thanks! :D A lot of people think defend/survive chapters are boring, but I find them to be quite fun because of how differently they play from normal ones, which usually just involve CHARGE THE FOE or DIVIDE AND CONQUER. (Or whatever your usual style of play is. Mine is a slightly more cautious variant of one of the above lol)

But I figure one reason people probably don't like them is because of how easy they normally are. I don't remember ever having an issue with survival chapters--except in FE9 where I was dumb and didn't expect the thieving crows to abandon their spoils in order to give me a game over. lol. Then there was that 4-part chapter, but the only stressful thing that happened during that was having to blitz my way to Oliver in order to defeat him and take his droppable item before Tibarn did.

So this chapter is a defend/survive chapter which I hope will actually be stressful to the player. This might mean that the chapter difficulties zigzag a bit in order for survival chapters to be harder, but I'll do what I can to keep the game balanced. (For now, though, I can't exactly plan the overall difficulty because I have no clue what the player's units will be like by the time these chapters occur. I can give enemy units weapons and plan unit placements, but that's about it.

Let the wolf in anyway and just have it bark and howl and stuff, and make villager reactions be exactly the same as normal! I've seen games that do that before and it's generally really hilarious.

The general problem with this is that dogs require speaking frames which will be far harder to make than humans, due to having muzzles. I don't want to trouble Char with that kind of work, and I doubt I could do it myself. (Customing is not my forte) So I will probably end up discouraging the player from this sort of thing. I would love to do that, though. Sounds fun. XD

You could also take the (kinda trope-y?) path of having no NPCs appear in the village conversation (since, to them, the animal entering would most likely be wild), the animal finds something on the ground and picks it up and takes it with them (i.e. what you'd normally get or even something different as suggested above), prompting the villagers to close up the village to keep more wild creatures out. No speaking frames required.

I like that idea the most, actually. I will definitely have to consider that one!

I updated the first post with CHARACTER BIOS! :D :D

And for those of you too lazy to go check it:

[spoiler=Characters]

His strict personality tends to lift when he is alone with King Eric.

29 characters may feel a little low for FE, but I honestly prefer the number to be lower in order to preserve the overall quality. (I have no idea how people manage 75 characters or whatever. O_o; )

[spoiler=SUPPORTS!]

[spoiler=Affinity LIst]

Some character names are still not actually set, and thus are named with names that having meaning to me and probably not to you. :D

LIGHT:

Ryan

Tiffany

Malena

Molly

ANIMA:

Eric

Bradley

Millicent

Neila

FIRE:

Clarence

Tom

Red01

Solar02

WIND:

Kedar

Brianna

Fremont

Doran

DARK:

Sethe

Lupe

Rolt

Luther

ICE:

Clark

Darren

Melvin

Reece

THUNDER:

Clinton

Evoid01

Colan

Mather

...You have no idea how proud I am of that affinity list. Perfectly evened out (except for Thunder having an extra person) and hardly anyone supports with another character of the same affinity. (Only exception to this is Ryan and Molly, both light.)

In other news, I realized today that the story I had planned was far too straightforward and generic, so I have been greatly rethinking the plot... As a result, it looks as if the chapter count MIGHT increase. Which won't be a problem for players, I'm sure.
