I mean, yes P3/4 are super popular and print fucking money for Atlus, but how exactly would they fit in with the likely story of the game? Plus, those casts have been ridiculously saturated of late so Atlus may not want to put them in, besides. I just don't see why they'd do it aside from as a cash grab. As of persona 4 golden they haven't really been considered shin megami tensei games considering the name has been removed and every persona game since haven't had the shin megami tensei label like all the other spinoff series do. Topazd Posted September 6, 2014 Share Posted September 6, 2014 Well, almost none of the SMT spinoffs have ever been labeled as SMT in Japan, other than some Devil Children games and such, IIRC. The label was there for marketing reasons only, and since Persona has outsold the main series internationally, there isn't much point in keeping it there.
