We've got to watch for the poison pegs as well. Hoshi can't force this turn, so that's out but Lumi can ignore their poison so she's a good choice for first round hit. Especially since they need 5+ to damage her after shifting. She can pound one of 'em but she'd need to use magic to make it worthwhile which means she's doing 6+dice and even that's still dicey. If we boost hit again, she needs a 3+ to hit...

So, for what it's worth, as I said earlier, for raw damage on Carlos, AS dance is the highest for Angelica's DPS, but since I'm not sure how(if at all) that benefits the rest of the turn, +Mt will also help to dent him. I'm heading out for work soon, so I'll bbl and such.

Note for Jam: buy bag + another skill book.

Hmm... From a plot prospective, it's tough to figure out how to go about this. Lumi's a clear choice to engage an enemy peg from a stat prospective, but what's her IC say she'd do? One thing we could do is (depending on her IC) apply Sniper D and SM B's stats to other units in the field again and make the two in/in front of the stables generic NPC baddies and let Lumi/Riz drive them off/kill them. Eva's going to have to find and free the captive riders via noncom, I think, though, and escort them to the stables to free Lumi up to head into the fray proper to try to "free up the pegs and rescue her friends." That's just what I think, though, to get around IC issues. Of course, this is partially dependent on Hoshi, too, since Eva's decided to look after her/get her help in finding the riders.

So, from a IC standpoint, I suggest Eva and Hoshi do something stat-wise, if there's something they can do that'll help with challenge completion.

I also think that Angel should keep working on wrecking Carlos, yeah. And, if possible, it'd be nice to get a res for Bert. If he can get back on his feet, we can send him after snipers or enemy pegs or something. He has WTA over pegs and is immune to poison. Without hit boost from Jam, he hits the pegs on a 5 or a 6, I think. Which also brings that I think Jam should dance, and it's looking like hit would be the most beneficial for the most people again, but this is obviously up for discussion, along with everything else.

I mean, Hoshi can one shot any of the snipers. So, you know. Also Nos and get back to full health if we want. Also technically, boost stays up unless Jam specifically dances something else or says not to boost it but it'll still take out HP I *think*

Also I'm not a fan of swapping over stats to another person in flavor, so I won't be doing that. I could come up with a post that would make it IC to have Lumi go punch someone in the face though so eh.

It'll stop taking HP if Toogee posts for it to stop. That would not count as an action, but it is assumed to keep going otherwise.

OKAY, so, PP3. I'd like to suggest (if this is possible) Hoshi nos-forcing Carlos Team because she needs the HP and those three are all in range. It'd also free up actions for the other 5 battle posts. I also think that Eva should get heals from Nadya. Maybe Jam should get heals from Shad? Her HP's getting down there and we could use the dancing. Nadya needs to be defended, too.

That's just what I see at first look. Feel free to discuss.

I don't understand, Scorri. The only attack I suggested was against a team that had already been activated. The rest were all heals and defends. And wasn't the point of closing in to take out Carlos and the ballistae anyway? If Hoshi took out Carlos this turn, that'd free up any potential attacks we had to either use for other actions or to get going on the ballista that's already shooting at us. At least, that's how I see it. If I'm wrong, I could use an explanation, and it'd be good to know how the plan's maybe changed and where we go from here.

Hey, don't wanna be too picky, but Eva wouldn't have been downed by the swordmaster attacks? It's early and I'm tired but

she has 6 HP after the ballista

Swordmaster B has 7 mt

she has 9 def

7 + 4 - 9 = 2

7 + 5 - 9 = 3

that's 5 HP

she'd have 1

edit: also wrt to carlos i think angelica's plan was to go in and try to get him to surrender (which isn't working out) so we might wanna give it a turn before ending him?? Idk it might be risky to leave her there to get chipped at again. she's doing a good job of taking it so far but she is just one wind mage thing. and if we pop him and then suddenly like 6 more teams come strolling out then that's baaaad.

Ok, so it was plot-based and not stat-based. I noticed what Carlos said, too, but I wasn't sure if that's what you were basing it on. So, has the plan changed, then? Seems like it, as it used to be to off Carlos then start getting rid of balliticians and ignore the others.

Because while taunting is a free actionm and doesn;t take up a combat post if she only does that, if all of our combat posts are used beforehand, she won't get a a chance to.

As for ballista, we're hoping to neutralize them by forcing it to wind rune Angelica, but if we miscalculated then one might activate(there would be nothing we could do to stop this regardless)

Even if one does, though, since people aside from Eva have attacked this turn and are in range to be ballista'd, she shouldn't be their target. Keyword shouldn't >.>

Jam is assumed to be barding Hit until there's a post stating otherwise. Since she isn't, it would take a battlepost to change the stat she is barding, though she can vuln as her action.

I know this is a bit confusing, but the Taunt Manual being a free action doesn't mean it doesn't take up a battlepost- a free action means that it can be used alongside an attack/defend/staff use(maybe we should rename them 'bonus actions'). The good news is that Jam vulning herself does not take up a battlepost, though it does take up her action.
