Bio

In Genealogy of the Holy War

Celice is the main character of the second generation. He retreated to Isaac with Oifaye and Shanan during Chapter 5 because Sigurd knew it would be too dangerous for a child to stay. Celice was born in Agustria between Chapters 2 and 3. He never made an appearance though until the second generation. Celice was trusted into Shanan's care and Shanan refused to give him to anyone until Deirdre said so but since Deirdre had dissapeared Shanan never let Celice out of sight until he was older. Celice was raised by Shanan and Oifaye in Isaac and was raised learning how to use the sword. He was a part of Isaac's liberation army until Shanan left to get the Balmung from Yied. While Shanan was away Celice began fighting and he was named leader of the army. When he captures Ganeishire he meets Levin who entrusts Julia into his care. Celice is very kind and caring to Julia especially since Levin is away and she was with Levin for a long time, so he knew she'd miss him. Celice has Major Baldo Blood which he inherited from Sigurd and Minor Narga Blood which he inherited from Deirdre. Deirdre's Lopt Blood was not inherited. Celice always looks at the good in a person like when he kills Ishtor and Liza he says he can't believe they were bad people, but Levin tells him that they are since they support a tyrannical leader. Even then Celice looks for the good in everyone. When they're in Thracia he doesn't think that they should be fighting Thracia since the Empire is their enemy. This shows that he'll avoid fighting unnecessaraly. He doesn't want to fight Airione because of Altenna and all the good things he's heard about him. When Alvis is dead he's very happy that he's avenged his father's death. And he get's very happy when he meets the ghosts of his parents.

In Thracia 776

Celice makes a brief appearance at the beggining of Chapter 21. He discusses with Leaf that he'll defeat Blume at Conote and Leaf should go take Manster castle. Celice only appears again at the end of the game when he tells Leaf what a good job he's done and in the future they'll travel together.

Any comments? I'm sure I made spelling errors.

How can you be both?

In other words, they're half-siblings.

This is major spoilers but Deirdre is Celice's mother. Deirdre and Alvis are half brother and sister. They don't know it and have kids. So since they're his mother's children with another man they're half siblings. But Alvis is his uncle so his uncle's children are his cousins. It's really wierd but that's how it is.

Spelling mistakes should be the least of your concerns.

To say the least, it's a shallow article. And you're supposed to write the spoilers, by the way.

He never made an appearance though until the second generation.

Except that he's always there, with Sigurd, Oifaye and the others. Unlike, say, Aless, who only gets a couple mentions, or most of the 2nd gen children, who are seldom named. Saying that he doesn't make an appearance in 1st gen sounds incorrect to me.

He was a part of Isaac's liberation army until Shanan left to get the Balmung from Yied. While Shanan was away Celice began fighting and he was named leader of the army.

The opening of chapter 6 sets Celice as the leader of the Liberation Army, though. You make it sound like he took over when Shanan left - that's incorrect. He was always the figurehead.

When he captures Ganeishire he meets Levin who entrusts Julia into his care.

He doesn't meet Levin there. He reunites with him. You make it sound like it was the first time.

Celice is very kind and caring to Julia especially since Levin is away and she was with Levin for a long time, so he knew she'd miss him.

You mean because he had a crush on her. Their starting love points don't lie.

Please don't do articles just because nobody's done them yet. Also don't do them from memory, do the research.

I thought that was for some other reason. I never got the impression Celice had a crush on her.

I did research. I guess I must've missed someting.

Uh...you really need to get rid of the cousins part. Julius and Julia ARE his half-siblings.

I know they are and they are. But they're also his uncle's kids. That makes them cousins.

It might just be best if we let Vincent decide whether to keep that they are cousins (which I, truthfully, am a bit skeptical of, though I haven't really looked it over, tbh). It is his site, after all.

I'm for axing the cousins part. I do know that if a woman were to marry another man, then they'd be considered a step-parent. Of course, that's typically if something happened to them.

So...yeah...

Strictly speaking, Alvis and Deirdre are only half siblings as well, so he'd have to be half-cousins, which is in all honesty saying way too much. "Half-siblings" will do.
