  6. Ah that sucks, I scoured GameFAQs myself and came up with nothing; thanks for the help though. Does anyone happen to know Shadow of Chaos' contact info, by any chance?
  7. I'm not sure it's really fair to compare everyone at once. I mean, FE9/10 portraits generally look much better than the sprite ones in the other games. You can see, over half of the people in this thread have voted for FE9/10 characters alone. That said, I'll break my vote up: 2D: Joshua 3D: Leanne Feel free to discount my vote ;)
  8. Can you possibly lend me a hand? So I've been playing through PoR again just for fun, using various AR codes to liven things up. I get to Chapter 13 and I'm about to recruit Astrid when I notice that Gatrie isn't where he's supposed to be (right next to her). It turns out that he isn't anywhere on the map, and restarting the chapter doesn't do anything to fix this. I look around my game and find out that I had recruited Sephiran back in the level where he's a prisoner; by accidentally leaving on the "Make all units player controlled" code at the end of the level. He's the only noticeable difference between my game, and a game being played through without AR, so I conclude that his taking up of a space in the party is affecting Gatrie's appearance in level 13. I think this because I recall Shadow of Chaos back at FESS mentioning something about this in his FAQ. So I think that if I can get rid of Sephiran, and go back to Chapter 13 via the level code, I should be able to recruit both Astrid and Gatrie. "Okay," I think, "this shouldn't be too hard, the guy's a mage; those losers are easy to kill". I remember that the SOB has Mantle, and that it's not removable. Fuck. "Okay," I think, "this shouldn't be too bad to deal with, I'll just hack myself to a level where the enemy does enough damage to be able to deal damage past Mantle." So I end up hacking my way to 3 different levels in the hope that the enemies there will be able to kill the bastard and remove him from my party. Nope. I think that the only enemy that can theoretically deal damage to him is the Black Knight in his level, since he can apparently pierce Mantle. Too bad I can't pick Sephiran for that level. ^____^ So I was wondering, is it possible to alter the code "Remove Discipline from all" to work as a "Remove Mantle from all"? I have no idea about how I would do this, or if there are any other options to get Sephiran out of my party other than starting a new game, which would suck, as this playthrough was for fun, and I really just wanted to have Gatrie. Help? =(

    Sup

So I've been a lurker at the various FE boards (the numerous FESSes, FEFF, FEP, ECW) in the last couple of years, and I always seem to be late to the party in finding out that the board has shut/died down. I go to FESS yesterday afternoon and find out that it's been down since November, and that pretty much everyone still interested in the FE community has migrated here. Sure enough, I see a few familiar faces usernames, and I decided I'll stick around here for a while. Anyway, it's nice to be back at a Fire Emblem board that is still very much alive. Also, don't hate me because 8 is my favorite. I just figured that it has to be somebody's.
