I like to call mages benders, since they remind me of benders from Avatar The Last Airbender

I consider Archenea/Ylisse to be the future form of the continent in ATLA

I like Awakening's story

For reasons even I don't understand, Wrys from FE1 is my 4th favorite FE character.

I like RD's story and think it's the best in the series.

Conversely, I consider PoR's story to be the dullest, most cliche story in the series to date.

I don't give a rat's arse about support conversations and character development, and consider RD to have the best support system.

I consider PoR to be a mediocre game.

I consider Shadow Dragon to have no redeeming qualities whatsoever.

I will not be buying either FE:Fates or SMTxFE.

I'm not interested in playing any FE game older than PoR.

In my opinion, Kaga leaving the series is the best thing that has ever happened to FE.

There is one Pegasus Knight that I consider to be decent enough to actually use.

I'm not really that much of a FE fan.

I've always used all 3 Pegasus sisters when playing FE3.

I think dismounting is a good mechanic that should come back.

I like all of the Akaneia games that I've played, to an extent.

in my only playthrough of Awakening I reclassed Kjelle to a thief because I think Knight armor looks dumb

and i'll probably do it again if I ever play it again

not sure how weird that is if at all but it's something!

for an actual dumb headcanon priam is just a random dude pretending to be descended from ike

hence the breakable ragnell (s?) which he throws at people and his lack of aether (his dad was a great knight I guess)

ike x soren is canon soren used his magic to make the baby

okay I don't actually headcanon that I guess but it's funny to think about and I say one of those two when people say Ike x Soren is impossible because of Priam

I think RavenXLucius is a valid gay pairing (much more so then Ike's pairings) and find it one of the best supports in FE 7

I wish Heather had a valid paired ending with one of the other girls in RD

I have some really stupid headcanon things when I play Awakening. In my FeMU run, I did Ricken!Owain, but I bench Ricken and pretend that the male avatar, from the logbook, is married to Lissa and is Owain's father. Because that's how it is in the file where he came from.

Ike x Mia is my headcanon, so while Priam doesn't have Aether, he runs Astra from his other descendant.

I feel like there's more dumb stuff I do, but that's all I can think of now.

Wait a minute, I don't know exactly why you are browsing these forums.... I know this isn't a controversial topic thread, but I could not feel more compelled to reply. Based on the information you've given, you've only played like 4 Fire Emblems, and you shat on basically all of them except one. And you won't play anything older than PoR? ARE YOU SERIOUS!?!? The GBA series is honestly I think the series I like best. It's so stripped down and uncomplicated and I love it. I'm not saying I don't like a challenge, I just like that it doesn't have a bunch of unnecessary features.

To each their own I guess... this critique just seems a little "off" based on the little amount you've played.

I liked literally only one character from FE8. As a result, I didn't like that game so much. I love pairing up characters but not liking any killed the enjoyment for me.

I didn't care for any of the stories and characters of Marth's games at all. Same for this one as above.

I avoid using flying units even though I know they're supposed to be good.

Because of that OCD, I hate using prepromotes or characters in classes that don't fit the standard 20/20 progression.

- I like to think the father of one Elincia's future children (most likely the first) is Ike, and that's the family line Priam comes from.

- I hate using Gatrie and Shinon separatedly.

- I like to use all the Crimean Royal Knights, even in RD where Paladins are far from the best.

-When Ike and Soren left Tellius, Almedha went with them and is the mother of Ike's children.

-Based on what the Galdr of Rebirth did to the trees of Serenes Forest (healing them and making them produce pollen), my headcanon is that it also made Rajaion spill his... pollen... when Reyson and Leanne sang the same Galdr to him, and that's how Ena got pregnant with Rajaion's child.

-Speaking of Reyson and Leanne, Lehran had a heron wife and kids before he married Altina, and Reyson and Leanne really are descended from them.

From Elibe

-Ninian's "brief" life with Eliwood lasted more than 20 years; she lived to see her son Roy defeat Zephiel and Jahn and rescue Idoun.

-"Roy" is just a nickname; Eliwood and Ninian had actually named their son Roland, after the Divine General.

-The "bad men" who kidnapped Aenir were dragons who targeted her for taking a human lover.

I once joked about how Gaius x Basilio should be a thing and now I can't stop seeing it.

I restart chapters way too often.

I sometimes focus too much on gaining support levels between characters, only to see the conversations.

I actually think Shadow Dragon is a good game and that it gets way too much hate.

I really want to play Heroes of Light and Shadow but I'm also trying to avoid emulation so I'll probably never get to play it.

Some Headcanons:
Tellius:

Post-RD, Ike's partner was actually Ranulf and they left together. Mist was left with the Greil Mercenaries and literally does a much better job running it than Ike. (But very few actually say so, because that would incur Mist's wrath.) Soren, on the other hand, is left to stew in his juices until he gets a very unexpected visit from Kurthnaga....

Ilyana died after the events of RD. Like, immediately. No one knew why or how, only that she was found by the merchant twins. Some attribute it to hunger, others said brigands strangled her. Zihark was most cut up about it.

In between PoR and RD, Marcia, Makalov, and Astrid all did try to return to the Begnion army. However, Marcia received a discharge without Tanith or Sigrun's knowledge. Astrid was going to be set into Lekain's private militia and she balked pretty hard at that and bolted. Makalov was accepted outright to serve the senators, but Marcia convinced him to follow her once she got a letter from Elincia.

Daein was outraged that their new queen, Micaiah took a common thief as a husband.

Elibe:

Lyn returned to Sacae, simply due to the fact that Caelin wasnt keen on her marriage to Rath. A lot of racism stuck around in Lycia despite Hector trying his best.

Florina is bisexual. But the only bloke she ever had interest was Hector and so she married him after literally falling for him. (hue) Hector told her it was ok if she had a mistress if she wanted.

Family gatherings in Hector and Florina's household were always interesting and chaotic.

Nino tried to reform the Black Fang and thats one reason there were people after her and Jaffar.

Magvel:

Eirika preferred life in Caer Pelyn with Saleh over court life. She ordered that Seth remain with her brother.

Joshua as king of Jehanna, built one of the biggest casinos the world ever saw. Complete with Tethys as a mainstay for entertainment.

Speaking of Joshua, he did produce an heir, but never married officially. Instead, he named Gerik his consort.

Awakening:

Virion's restoration of Roseanne was really quick. People attributed this to his wife, but they were wrong. He simply allowed his wife to take credit and convince the populace that he wasnt a dirty coward.

Walhart knew the previous Exalt of Ylisse and even trained under him before returning to Valm. It was from Chrom's father that Walhart learned about the Grimleal and the threat they posed.

Gangrel is actually a cousin of the Avatar.

Stuff thats not headcanons:

Literally nothing about FE14's fanservice bothers me.

I dont marry second gen characters. Ever.

As you can see, i am a mad Lyn/Rath and Florina/Hector shipper.

I like playing on Casual Mode.

FE7 is still my ultra fave.

I was excited about Cordelia because of her Shakespearian name and cool design, but got really disappointed when she turned out to be such a dull character.

Lissa should be Exalt. Down with Chrom.

I really want to get the other FE amiibo (i only have Ike) but its so much effort....

I pour way too many resources into certain units. Soren gets all the things, Florina gets all the things, Virion gets all the things, Joshua gets all the things....yeahhhh

I played FE6 eleven times on a bootleg cart that stopped saving properly after the 7th playthrough.

I skipped the Knights of Iris book because they filled it with a pointless support transcript. but I'll probably cave and buy it eventually.

I have never thought of it that way, but I love that.

I like EliwoodxNinian because I love the idea of Roy being part dragon, but he doesn't have a stone to tap into his powers. I like LyndisxHector because in my mind their daughter's name is actually Lilyna instead of Lilina.

At the same time I support the idea of each of the lords pairing off with each of the pegasus knights. LyndisxFlorina. HectorxFarina. EliwoodxFiora.

Ike is gay in my headcanon and his partner is Ranulf.

MicaiahxPelleas and they become the strongest rulers in Daein and their child is an incredibly powerful user of magic.

Mist becomes the wielder of the Alondite.

Virion in my headcanon will always be Inigo's father
