matthew gets a lot better later on when you get a silver sword and when there are more enemies that have 17-18 AS. astor is a utility thief whereas matthew can fight better, and to a lot of players they'll be mostly interchangeable, but there are quite a few things that one can do but the other can't. balance at its finest.

Got it. Obviously didn't make it that far.

Is it a bad thing that I find Serra having one more Speed than Dorcas amusing?

In vanilla FE, sword users and bow users got the short end of the stick...

What's that? I'm using old weapon icons? Yes, I am a lazy bitch. And if you're puzzled as to why the Sword Killer uses the Armorslayer icon, it's because the Armorslayer's been axed. Lances and axes want their niches too, you know...

I can testify that this hack is really good and well designed. dondon clearly has his goals in mind, and puts the emphasis on actual strategy that is often missed in "difficulty" hacks.

I agree with Mekkah. from my experience, the difficulty was well done and the maps were really good. Also

Short bow dorcas is best unit

It's a week away I don't get how some people take time to such an extent. I like this work so far I'll find this quite interesting to play once I get time to do so.

As August 8 draws closer and I get more progress done...

A couple of new tome concepts (well fine, they're not new concepts):

(2 MT, +4 mag and 6 MT are not redundant, btw)

Yes, those are existing weapon icons, and no, there aren't new spell animations for them. Yet.

And some effort got put into explaining chapter objectives:

If you are working on animations and stuff that doesn't matter for a strategy game, then you are ready to release. You could do an artwork touch up later.
