[spoiler=RIP] Lets get this party started! Well isnt that convenient. Wait, Soma. Didnt you just say youre an exchange student? How can Mina be your childhood friend? Oh translation... oooo foreshadowing. Its a Castlevania game, Soma, just roll with it. oh hai not-Alucard. Thats a funny way of spelling Alucard. Ruh roh. Wheres a Belmont when you need one? Whoa there, All-Star! Not-Alucard spots an enemy before explaining! MUST PROTECT FEMALE CHARACTER! Oooo a wild Game Mechanic appears! Game Mechanics are latent abilities! Whee. Yay actual gameplay time. A thing. Spooky Scary Skeletons! Sending shivers down my spine! I almost flub the fight cuz i derp with the controls. A MAP! Now the adventure really begins! This means Soma isnt falling in holes. Soma contemplates how to Jesus since theres no way up there. (for now) flyingarmor.png That skeleton reminds me of Nephenee. Virion joined the Skeleton War. RIP. Bat soul. Too bad it kinda sucks. Soma forgoes looking like the 11th Doctor for some defense! One of my favorite things about these games, is how most of the characters look like they just stepped out of an Anne Rice novel. Cuz everyone keeps joining the Skeleton War. So you can say he enjoys the missionary position huehuehue Graham explains how it is indeed Dracula's Castle inside an eclipse. Like what? No one taught Soma where Romania was on the map. Down with Common Core! Hes basically gonna tell ya the same thing Alucard told ya in Symphony of the Night. Drac's castle is like, an eldritch creature unto itself. Poor Vlad. Or course they do. Riiiiiight. because SEARING FLAMES OF CHAOS! He did? Oh wow...somehow i missed the memo. It involves Prince, doesnt it? Apparently while predicting the coming of the Anti-Christ and 9/11, Nostradamus predicted that Drac would resurrect and roflstomp the world. But Julius Belmont being a total bamf, whooped his ass. (why isnt there a game about this omg.) *Dramatic Chord* Graham bails after his weird exposition and look! NEW AREA! What sort of wacky hijinks will Soma get up to next? Stay tuned to find out! Dead Nephenee procs str. Wow lewd. Stabbing. Once upon a time, a Belmont would get stuck on those. (btw the backgrounds in this game are gorgeous. I nearly forgot how nice they were.) Boners. Oh shnikies, i forgot about this guy. BOSS FIGHT! After Manticore rustles my jimmes a bit, i kick his penor tail. (looks like a penor) Soma so bamf. .... Flea Man Castlevania, why? When SotN came out, there were these rooms like this in between areas. This was done as a means to show that the game was loading the next area. (since PS1) It seems to have become a tradition in Metroidvanias to have a couple of rooms like this just cuz they look cool. lol blur. (it says Study) Oh noes! Theres Evil Hermiones in here, throwing Evil Crookshanks at me! Bastard? FLEAMAN, I STEAL YOUR SOUL! Hops around madly....It summons a Fleaman to do all your mischievous deeds. Oooh look! A Strong Female Character! Yoko Ono Belnades. Member of the Not-Evil Church. lol, yeah Yoko, they keep spelling it weird. Yer only saying that cuz hes hot. oooo foreshadowing... ooo kinky! Btw i could never get that soul. D: some souls are really rare, like the red minotaur'z which took half an hour of grinding to get(it was my last soul so i could kill it easily by then). this one lets you see hidden rooms, but you're not missing anything,,,just use a full map image when you found everything you could on your own...
