Wrong topic rawr

Why not have Alan/someone else open it for you on turn 2?

because it's easier to have lance do it so i have more units available for combat

i've restarted anyway, i had a save state at chapter 3 so its nbd, and i am too lazy to go for the 4-turn of chapter 4 (RNG abuse like shiiiiiiiiiiit)

chapter 5/6 are pretty easy overall

Integrity has ruled that the gate is allowed to be opened by undrafted units. Still not convinced this is entirely necessary, but I'll defer to this.

it's because you don't have to use a draft-restricted command to open the door

other than wait, you can also open the door by rescuing someone while standing in the adjacent tile, or by using an item, etc.

ok so i had alan rescue dieck and move into the line of fire

marcus moved as far as he can

alan moved as far as possible again, dropped dieck, marcus got the armorslayer to dieck

lot got the village eventually

then i mauled everything

pulled this shit off! marcus got a +1 str/spd level up :D let's see how long this lasts... had to rig a bunch of misses on roy, but he survived through turn 3's onslaught

as shitty as dorothy is it is nice to have her off a soldier here and there

alan killed the boss. in fact, if i were more careful about my movements, i could've actually beaten this in 3 turns, but alan took too much damage on turn 2 (he killed A LOT) to make it possible

next time someones about to penalize me i'm going to penisize them

well I got bored yesterday so...

Chapter 4 - 7/32 turns

Got 2 lucky crits in a row. I have commenced Lugh's babying phase, but he's currently being uncooperative with his level ups, refusing to get even one point of speed, even after I forcefed him 3 levels. Ignored the steel blade and door key villages, but Marcus went to grab the angelic robe. Went shopping and stuf with Thany, forgot what I bought already. Clarine recruited Rutger (I just want the Killing Edge), but I had to rig a ridiculous setup to make it so that none of Rutger's posse would hit Lugh. They all aimed for Lot instead, so I had to rig Rutger not critting and the archer missing. Gave Lugh the boss kill.

Chapter 5 - 5/37 turns

Opened the gate on turn 2, and had Thany distribute vulneraries to everyone without one. Didn't murder everything for once. Marcus was starting to lose his strength lead on my other units, so I had him set up kills for Lugh. Gave the boss kill to Lugh, not because it's his babying phase, but because he ws the only one who could do any significant damage to the boss (he did 11 damage, Silver Lance Marcus did 12, and no one could double him).

Chapter 6 - 5/42 turns

Prep screen yay. Lugh's babying phase has now ended, and I have begun Dorothy's babying phase. I had everyone run up the middle of the castle, with Lot and Lugh leading the way. Deployed Lance for the sole purpose of trading a bow to Dorothy. I didn't recruit Sue, becuase it's not as if I have any door keys. Cath didn't even show up, so I couldn't kill her like I had planned to. Dorothy got the boss, as per babying phase procedure.

Chapter 7 - 7/49 turns

Recruited Zealot, and thank god he helped out with this stupid chapter. Had to rig a crit for Dieck (with a killing edge) and Roy (rapier). Lugh's become a killing machine. Thany and Treck went shopping. Bought a 3 door keys, one of which I used on the gate here, and a chest key for next chapter. Got the physic, the hero crest, the red gem and the elixir from the villages with Zealot. Lot killed the boss for once. Had Treck rescue Noah, and then forgot to recruit him. Oh yeah, and I gave the robe I completely forgot about to Lugh.

yea i havent been home in a while, no time for FE6, and on tuesday i may not actually have energy or devotion

welp i'm definitely not going to be playing fire emblem for another 6 weeks

Chapter 7: 8/34

I rescued Roy with Marcus, then had Alan rescue drop him. Roy talked to Zealot on Turn 2. Marcus and Zealot then killed some nearby enemies and sent a rescue chain north, while Dieck/Alan/Lott made their way to an armory to get a Door Key. Dieck had an Armorslayer where he killed the boss (62%, did 16x2 damage thanks to a good level up). Marcus killed a whole bunch of enemies while Zealot stayed behind to distract the Wyvern and get some axes from the armory. Dorothy and Lugh tried to get villages but failed horribly; I got nothing useful.
