Can't decide on what weapons to use but rocking a Claymore for now. Greatswords have their Demon's Souls move set it seems.

Working with a quality to test out most weapons but you have the full move set for everything even if you don't meet stat requirements. Which is nice but I always liked those struggling to use this darn weapon animations.

Might just go with poison twinblade, zweihander, and composite bow.

I really wanted to use the regular twinblade but it's just so weak, fragile, and slow for pve. They are probably best used for pvp or something hopefully.

I infused mine with bleed and it only made it much worse overall. Not even sure if bleed is worth it now that poison has the ridiculous damage over time.

Played it at a friend's house, but I don't own the game myself. I like the new Bandit, but I still prefer the Bandit from the first Dark Souls. I own Dank Souls: Prepare to Get High Edition on PC, but it runs kind of slow. Is it worth picking up the second game, even if it would run slowly on my computer? I'm either getting this or South Park: The Stick of Truth.

Still waiting for PC release. I could get it on a PS3/360, but I don't want to play it all before I get it on PC.

If Dark Souls 1 runs poor on your computer, I'm not sure about the 2nd. Apparently the PC edition is supposed to have superior graphics to the console equivalents time around.

my dick is rock hard

I only have a PC at home, but I managed to play it for 14 hours straight at a friends house a few days ago (he had work to do and just went to bed early before you think I purposely hi-jacked the game from him or something). I managed to clear The Rotten and that pizza shit Duke Spider boss along with the Lost Sinner before the day was done. That only fueled my hype for the game for the next month and week or so. So so good.

Twinblades were disappointing. Kind of like the new whip; flashy and for show but kind of silly and useless from what I saw. The actual whips though, oh ho man they were pretty sweet. There's even a whip to do innate bonus damage against Hollows. Belmont build is real again. Stuck with the Pursuer's Greatsword for the most part though and OH MY GOD, ULTRA GREATSWORDS HAVE NO RIGHT TO SWING THAT FAST HOLY SHIT.

I also wouldn't use DaS1 on PC as a benchmark. The optimization for DaS1 on PC was absolutely god-awful, and even the rigs with the literal best hardware available to the public would run the game like garbage. That was the major flaw from the PC port.

Ah yeah, I didn't keep that in mind. That's probably because it didn't run too bad on mine with the unlocked frames from DSFix. I guess another thing to keep in mind is that Dark Souls 2 was intended to be developed first on the PC with the consoles being ports this time (except the console versions got released a month and a few weeks earlier).

Aren't the Japanese mainly console developers? I recall reading that somewhere. And If PC were going to be the developed first and was released last, the team must have screwed development badly. I think the consoles were developed first and they wanted to make sure the PC wasn't bug riddled like last time, so they withheld the PC game for a month to focus on the consoles

Dual Avelyns are like my bane as a mage. I seem to do decent against everything else, even though I'm pretty garbage at PVP.

I love messing with mages. Not only do I use Avelyns, but I also use Profound Still. It's hilarious when they get scared because they can't cast their spells.

Then I pelt them with crossbow bolts! Pew pew!
