Feaw
Ehh it shouldn't be too hard. I didn't say anything about the player units or enemy size, so...
Chocolate Kitty
you also didn't say rain or fog neither did prime go do that fags its in the rules ;> Edited March 11, 2012 by Kitty of Time
Feaw
"FoW and intermittent rain is in effect" =/= "state that it has rain and FoW". Naturally it has rain and FoW, since it's the rules of the map. But I dont have to state since that's, yanno, double. Primefusion
I'm not changing jack. It's a factor considered in the design of the map. As the enemy units you're defending against are cloaked, you as a designer have the freedom to decide how the player should be surprised by the enemy units. Celice's response to the vagueness of that rule pretty much just says to think about rain and fog while you make your map.
Chocolate Kitty
...does no one realize sarcasm when they see it? even when i say fag and ;>
Primefusion
I know your joking. And I'm still not changing anything. That map took forever to make. Besides, there's been a bit of a rule spat going on so I'm just covering my bases :B
Celice
When's the new due date anyways? I started working on a map in-between essays to make him relax a bit, and I'm wondering whether it'd be finished in time. (finals in a week, 30 pages, yoinks)

Feaw
Figured the western river didn't make any sense, so here's a fix;
deranger
^that could actually be a really interesting chapter if you're running around trying to seal the villages and all berfore the huge waves of enemies come. Then you just rush your ass back to the place(s) that are obligatory to defend and try to survive. Kinda a combination of your skill in offence and defense I guess. Feaw
I love how the arena is unaccessable for foot units without ferrying them over the cliffs XD. I also really like the top-left portion of the map. The rest, not so much (though the coastline gets a honorable mention as well).

Anouleth
What's with the random village tile below the armoury? And there's another one below the Gate. Edited March 18, 2012 by Anouleth
Feaw
Those aren't solely to be used for villages, obviously. Same that you don't have to use that path tile for the villages, but can instead use a different one (or none at all, in some tilesets). Chocolate Kitty
No Anou is right, those are the tiles that village events are tied to lol get at him *shove*
Feaw
Oh yeah, forgot about that herp. But still, graphically is doesn't matter.
Celice
What's with the random village tile below the armoury? And there's another one below the Gate. Prime has them too. It's probably an oversite on both of our parts, not knowing what all properties are attached with every tile.
Primefusion
Prime has them too. It's probably an oversite on both of our parts, not knowing what all properties are attached with every tile. I know the properties, but I decided I wanted it to look nice instead. The tiles are a good transition from road to grass IMO. Besides, since I don't really use any of my contest maps in ROM modding projects it doesn't really matter.
