Rules:

- I'm the mod and my word is final. Don't do anything that you expect will annoy me, even if it's not in the rules. This includes looking for loopholes.

- No Outside Contact, keep the talking to the game thread unless your role allows otherwise.

- Don't directly quote communications with the mod unless given permission. This includes your Role PM.

- Going 24 hours without a post nets you a prod. Going 48 hours without a post or receiving too many prods is likely to result in a modkill.

- Don't screenshot things.

- Don't edit your posts.

- Don't post after hammer.

- If you get yourself modkilled, you lose the game and your alignment may be subject to further punishment to circumvent any advantage your death could result in.

- Have good integrity. This includes not being a dick.

- Play to win.

Mechanics:

- Day 1 start. 48 hour days, 24 hour nights. Night talk is allowed.

- Dead players can talk in the thread, all rules still apply to them. Dead goons can talk to their buddies, lynched vanillas retain their vote.

- At least 1/3 of all votes is necessary to lynch at deadline, more than 1/2 of all votes ends the day in a hammer.

- In the case of a tie, if it's more than a third, the player who first reached that number of votes.

(eg. A has 4 votes, B has 3. Somebody votes B, then phase ends. A will be lynched in this case.)

- No Lynch is a lynchable option.

- LYLO and MYLO will be announced.

- There are 7 vanilla townies, and 3 goons in the game.

Role PMs:

Dear X,

You are a vanilla townsperson. You win when the goons are all dead.

Dear X,

You are a mafia goon. You win when the vanillas are all dead, or nothing can stop that from happening.

NB: This setup hasn't been checked, and so the exact mechanics aren't set in stone.

The best time to complain about an open setup is before it starts.

I think the wincon needs to allow the mafia to win once they achieve player parity because otherwise it's almost impossible for them to win.

Edit: Actually then this only gives town one mislynch, which isn't enough. I'm not sure this setup can be balanced with these numbers. 10/3 may be better, with the mafia only needing player parity.

man getting to parity means mafia can force NL probably. i think there's an implicit nightkill as well

@BBM: Mafia only need three ML (or two ML and a NL) to win. 2/3 at the start of the day is autowin for mafia as long as they don't idle the kill.

TLDR; after 2 MLs it's parity, parity is LYLO, so the setup is functionally 8/3.

No Lynch is a lynchable option, but I wouldn't recommend it.

I guess I missed that mafia would also win just by killing all the vanillas even if they don't have vote parity, but this still seems kind of townsided to me considering deadtalk and stuff.
