Nisya
Well met ladies and gentlemen! This forum needs more FE7 LP/Picture plays or whatever you like to call them. Coincidentally I feel like starting a LHM/HHM run! Ain't you all lucky bored already? Anyway I did a draft thing on reddit some months back and I had loads of fun commenting on my own stuff, even if there was barely 20 people reading it. So I decided to go again for my own, and hopefully some others, entertainment. To make things more exciting for myself I've decided to randomize the characters I'll be using with my very own "sort of bingo chart". (Yes, that was the best thing I could come up with) Here is the chart, and I'll include the 'rules' (probably the default rules I'm not aware of) I'll be imposing on myself below. 1. , 's Father, , , / , & are free to use since they're either forced on the last chapter or the supply convoy (guess who the convoy is) or needed since I'll probably roll all late game pre-promotes. 2. Wallace / Geitz are one, since you can't get both & Karla and Bartre are also one because special requirements. 3. I get one character free of choice if I'm not happy (read: IF NO HEALER). 4. I shan't RNG abuse levels. (In before 5 str Lyn) 5. There is place for 7 characters besides the required ones on the last chapter, I'll pick 9(+1) characters to use. Not sure on that number, suggestions? 6. I'll provide horrible commentary. 7. Finishing is mandatory. 8. Anything else I forget goes here. 9. LHM / HHM, and I shall complete all the side-quests. I've already rolled all the characters I'll be using, they will be revealed whenever I get close to their recruitment, see bingo chart below! Characters! (the updated bingo chart): Update 1: Yes, my lowest roll was 4, which is the best class in the whole of Fire Emblem, ARCHER (wooptiefuckingdoo) (oh and his name is Wil). Unfortunately this being the lowest means no Sain, Kent , Florina (NOOO!. probably just lost the two people interested in this) and also no Dorcas. Update 2: I didn't roll any tier 1 staff user so I used rule 3 to pick myself Serra. I also did not roll 7 for Erk. Update 3: No need for thief exceptions since my very last unit roll was 9, which gives me Matthew. Update 4: I got Lowen and Bartre (+ Karla later) to join me. Plus: early game available units. Minus: they're not the best units around, have to see how they work out. No Oswin and Rebecca. Update 5: I'm too lazy to make updates here. Leave a comment for my motivation! Nisya
Prologue: Lyn is a masochist. I waited 5 seconds so she would animate the sword up, for you! The Wind affinity, I'm not even sure what it does (dodge I guess?) LETS GO Obligatory CGI picture thing. I'll just ignore you then. Probably, I've watched a fair bit of movies in my time. I picked the green color, because why not. Let's not! The RNG seems with us, as Lyn takes a hit to the face in the very first attack of the game. Better not be stupid and heal in the case that Lyn can not stand up to Batta, Yep, she took another axe to the face. And so every enemy attack landed in the prologue, hurray! And then it ended with a very acceptable level (aka STR) Probably every joke imaginable with these two lines has already been made, so pick your favorite. Oshimos
How does rolling work? Is it a number from 1 through 5, or one character per row, or something completely different? Also, I'm looking forward to this, these screenshot LPs are my favourite part of these forums. Edited August 29, 2014 by Oshimos
Nisya
How does rolling work? Is it a number from 1 through 5, or one character per row, or something completely different? Also, I'm looking forward to this, these screenshot LPs are my favourite part of these forums. I just had random.org pick a number between 1 and 34 a couple of times and linked it to the corresponding unit. Luckily I at least got some decent spread on the numbers. Nisya
Things aren't very exciting yet, as Wil will only join in chapter 3. You know you're going to have a fun time when you're looking forward to using a crappy archer! Chapter 1: The epic journey starts here. With what exactly? Your body? Obligatory burn + Their mission is to find the legendary BENCH. Because there is absolutely zero room for manoeuvre in that screen. She has the bench? AFTER HER. Maybe try to DODGE some attacks or are you addicted to vulneraries? Because Kent brought some spare ones to sate your addiction lady. First dodge of the game and a great level after killing? We're finally online boys and girls. (also that fabulous bandit pose) Exciting chapter, Kent has already left because of boredom. I don't trust Lyn without forest tiles so taking it easy. I also don't trust Lyn attacking first so playing the safe route. Which Knights? They ain't doing shit. (PS THEY'RE CAVALIERS) TOLD YOU SHE COULDN'T BE TRUSTED TO DODGE WITHOUT A FOREST TILE There was only a lone girl, REKT. More STR? Can't complain! They have earned the bench, now we just have to endure them for plot purposes. (pls can I switch them with Wil?) 18 you say? Nice, hehe. You could just say it out loud yourself. It's a start hehe. Nisya
Update speed is high since these chapters are really short, in fact it takes longer to put up the screenshots. Chapter 2 Where the f*ck are you going Lyn, it's the other way to Caelin. Oh, ok. We kinda need that with your reliability. Isn't there some hack featuring this guy? TODAY I LEARNED! And Lyn has finally dodged an attack all on her own! Lyn vs. Wall In theory she got infinitely more resistance than before, so can I complain? (YES, THIS LEVEL SUCKS) Lol what? The pre-battle screen was pretty one-sided mate. Why can't I carry all these vulneraries? Lyn so cute <3 In hindsight I should not have stacked Lyn full of vulneraries, but I anticipated needing one every other turn. And that's all you ever get to hear on that plot line, unless we could Durandal / Armads and stuff, but that's like 2 years from now. Enter evil background music. Nisya
Final update for today, which features our new addition; THE WIL. Looking for suggestions as to what to call him. Chapter 3: WIL Back on track in the right direction, way to go Lyn! ANGRY ROAR! The only way this small incident can be settled is by an all out fight till the death. No surrendering or fleeing, even if the young girl murders everyone. Also "fair's fair" is that even English? Using units to visit villages while they're not part of my team? Totally acceptable, check rule #8. Many thanks, friend. Most balanced unit in the history of Fire Emblem. His entire stat sheet exists out of 0, 2, 5 and 6. He can easily outclass this generic bandit archer, with the POWER OF BALANCE! Boom, boom, motherfucker. The problem with a strong Lyn is that she one-rounds most of the enemy units, leaving no room for Wil to get many kills. Since he most certainly CANNOT one-round enemy units yet. I had to restart since I forgot to move Florina away and she got attacked by the mercenary. RIP IRON SWORD Nice, what the hell are his growths anyway.(75, 50, 50, 40, 40, 20, 25, hmm that's pretty ok-ish?) Them Lyn legs Oh and a nice level/ What did I buy? What kind of units will soon be joining me? (if any) Have fun with your steel axe. Never noticed that you can actually move on those ruins. LOL NOPE Easy experience for a strong level. We all know what you're thinking Sain. THE LEGENDARY FACEPALM!
Silith
A unit named Will. Should be named after hiss WILLPOWER. I suggest either "Inept" or "Spineless"
Nisya
A unit named Will. Should be named after hiss WILLPOWER. I suggest either "Inept" or "Spineless" Well so far his willpower is prevailing, his growths have been stellar. Does Wil have the will to keep going? (can't help but make bad puns) Unfortunately it doesn't change the fact that his whole class screams INEPT, like you said.
Nisya
Chapter 4 is a smaller update. It's basically Lyn dodge tanking everything that charges at her and Wil taking potshots behind her. I did get lucky at some point. Chapter 4 Entire world map hype! Dorcas is slightly upset about the sketch his wife made of him. Pretend that there are like 15 on these wait, scratch that idea, I'll make it REAL. Ok, so this is what happens every turn. I didn't know they had a conversation, you can also see my 'tactic' with Wil behind Lyn doing nothing. All those units netted me this one level, which confirms that this unit is in fact Lyn. Phew! All the archers / mercenaries have a decent hit rate, combined with a lucky 30 somethings bandit hit = almost restart. I'd like to have killed him, probably could have (by charging at him with Lyn), but I was hoping to give Wil some decent experience. Which failed hardcore since Lyn just killed mostly everything. Lose/Lose situation. No, WHAT? YOU MOST CERTAINLY HAVE NOT, GO AWAY.
Nisya
The next chapter required me to update the bingo sheet, which character 'Wil' join? And are there any out? Chapter 5 I am sure we all know the feeling. Serra will be joining the crew, since I neither drafted her or Prissy and I need a healer (lol scrub). I used Priscilla a while ago so now I'm going with Serra. Actually I always try and go with Serra, but she always ends up worse than Priscilla for me. Erk won't be joining, although he sure seems like a capable dodger. This chapter, where you have more units than the enemy.. zzz.. Go fight for that bench spot! APPROVED! This level was exactly what Wil needed to kill the archer, who had 11hp left. Everything is possible with the will to believe in it. Serra ain't Lyn, so no worries. Time to bust out the big guns! The more you know! Wil catching up on experience, boss should provide a neat amount. It sure ain't for their ranged weaponry. Speaking of ranged weaponry, let's grab an iron bow (and be broke). You can't see it, but Wil decided to crit the boss, reducing the amount of experience he would gain from the pokes. Good job Wil! (this forum has a kappa emote? better spam that shit in all my future commentary and posts) Actually Wil is the strong one with his 100% STR growth. I'm putting these two screens together, the rest is up to you.
Nisya
Oh my, a character joins this chapter. Will it be Rath of Matthew? Chapter 6: Uh-oh this doesn't sound good. It's the Merlinus side chapter boss. (INTsys pls fix) I realized later that this actually gives Rath experience. It's Matthew! Part of my crew, the generator rolled 9, so whalecum. Also why I didn't bother making any thief rules since I get to use him anyway. (and sorry Rath, but we've got Wil for the bows anyway) See? Wil STRONG. Cheap, you mean free? This guy is speed and utility only for the moment. Woop! Don't think I'll ever see such similar combat stats again. (unless I do this chapter again and attack the mercenary with Matt) This sounds really weird and inconvenient. Huge market hole for keys if anyone wants to profit. "HARD MODE", although he still deals respectable damage. Matthew actually missed an 84 twice, but that only resulted in more experience for him and Serra. They both get their first level of the game. I'm just letting Matt catch up a bit, make him into a combat unit. Serra/Matthew 'talk'. I love Serra, she's hilarious. Probably going to support them later. Lyn is also doing stuff in this chapter! When I saw this screenshot I was confused about his experience, and realized the plot combat thing gives him experience (he's already a blue unit). The reason he got attacked is I moved his short bow to Wil, then popped the switch with Lyn, resulting in a sneaky archer attacking. GET OFF MY CHEST Not like he drops it, trying to squeeze in some experience without abusing silly tactics. Allright Wil, do some damage, grab that exp! Fuck you Wil. I'm not sure if Lyn even did combat this chapter. Racism, self-motivation, plot, Lyn, blabla. Rath's fee to take place on the bench.
Nisya
Chapter 7, where we get Nils. Even though we're apparently on a clock, we can detour for 2 chapters to set up some later plot! And will Lucius join? Chapter 7 Yet plenty of time to detour for 2 chapters to save some kids! But we need story in the game, agrees of course. Damn rite we're though. If only Nergal wasn't so lazy he would've easily won. Although it would probably compare to Putin taking to the front lines himself in Ukraine. Can finally ditch all the characters I (unfortunately) didn't get. We'll see about that won't we. Here is all you get to see of Lucius, she (huehue so funny and original) won't be joining, The two new things this chapter, enemy dark magic and Nils doing his flute thing. Need to get him to level 7 for the extra chapters. Here is a bunch of levels about on par with what you should expect from these units. Pure uselessness and some random Matthew combat. Can't forget about the Hector cameo can't we. Matthew got this level from murdering Hector. Sword > Axe Closing in on the boss, Lyn hard mode could've been made somewhat more difficult.. Nobody likes Serra :( As you can see I took over 10 turns this chapter. This boss is serious business, he's one of the first who can actually counter attack Wil! Giving them experiences to Lyn. Red-haired scum, give up the girl. So what? Congratulations? doing his best to stay relevant, since he won't been seen on the battlefield. "Want to get more experience and plot?" Nisya
I just played some FE8 on my phone in the bus and Eirika died on chapter 1, I'm that good. My progress is already in Hector mode, and luckily things get significantly more interesting and harder in HHM.Anyway here is chapter 7x. Chapter 7x I´ve decided to turn around the world map and the chapter title screen, seems more logical. Also black shadow and shadowy figures? That's spooky! Yes time is a concern for Lyn. Not for me, I'll be taking it easy to spread experience and stuff. Serra gets the angelic robe because her current HP and HP growth are weakest among my Lyn mode characters. She will also turn into a combat unit later, so it should help out. Wil starts the gaiden chapter by clearing the way for Matthew (to get that super useful chest item). We might be enemies, but we stand united against the WALLS. The boss panics after one or two turns, yelling we should all be dead. Matthew stealing stuff. Will we get to use that Hammer? Only if Wallace was rolled. Lyn dishing out a crit. (superbly timed shot) Those guys are really obsessed with walls, is he programmed to do that? He could just walk out. It ain't a real chapter if Lyn isn't hit by absurdly low hit rate enemies. ???????? NO COMPRENDRE Matthew is above things like weapon triangles (or maybe he's on a pillar against the worst enemy class, who knows?). Disappointing, she is still ahead on STR, but it has not procced the last few levels. Random Thunder tome and another horrible level, sets the theme this chapter. Holy what? Best level up in the game so far. Although he obviously stole it from the rest, fucking thief. Nils level is just as good as Matthew, they both only missed one real stat. Should've brought a Light Brand mate. THE ANTICLIMAX PERSONIFIED Why do you kill most bosses, but wound this guy? EXPLAIN TO ME LYN. (oh right plot) Except Ninian, she has to worry about Sain. Nisya
Forgot that Matthew goes somewhere to do thief stuff this chapter. Chapter 8 Is it Knights? Since she can't fly and rain down unholy terror, she has to resort to motivational speaking. Unlike Kent, who is clearly in a state of panic. He never did. Finally have some use-able units, they decide to be unable to join because of "MINOR BUSINESS". Fuck you Matthew, this chapter is MAJOR BUSINESS. So we're left with 2 combat units, against 14 + reinforcements. (still not remotely challenging though) Although Wil tries his best by eating every enemy attack he can. That strategy kinda makes sense against our tiny force. Not that Lyn cares about a bunch of low leveled enemies. Because we put another weapon triangle in the weapon triangle. On our way to Lundgren with a special present and a decent level. Wil dodged something? GIVE THE BOY A WEAPON! No, your man just wasted all arrows by missing. Should've known Wil was going to crit. Tried to get some more experience by using the short bow, since 2 rounds of attack would leave the boss at 1HP. YOU NEED SPEEEEEEEEEEED (unless you're gonna crit everything) No-one cares Kent. Wherever he was, he surely wasn't where he was supposed to be. Yes! .. No? Wait.. Stop backtracking / sidetracking and whatever detour you can come up with Lyn! Nisya
The only chapter in Lyn mode where I ran into some trouble. But more importantly: am I getting to use Wallace/Geitz? Chapter 9 Thanks Kent, maybe there was a reason you didn't get selected. Matthew has an identity crisis in the middle of the game, especially at the start of Hector mode. This is Wallace, he won't be joining and the same applies to Geitz. I never used Wallace, mainly because I always get the Linus map (and osWIN).. Would've been... interesting? Since nobody can obviously get enough of him here is some Wallace action, before we probably never see him again. Lyn can defend top, rest near the bridge. The hidden sword is the deadliest. Just wildly swing your sword in the places you can't see! WHAT R U DOING NILS, DON'T REFRESH THE BANDITS We got Matthew holding the choke point, I recommend this great strategy (especially versus lance cavs), for all stages of the game. BOOOOOOORING LEVEL Too slow to double the enemy? We have a fix for that. IT HURTS You can ignore all these (crappy and lol Wil speed) levels, because.. Matthew died after a brigand stepped in the river and hit a 25somethings chance attack. Luckily I had a save state at the start of the turn, changed the order of movement a bit so hopefully Matthew would dodge (only Lyn level changed). HE LIVES! Acceptable GO FOR THE FACE! Going to level Nils to 7 this chapter. Lyn combat and Matthew level. Nils requirement things, WHO EVEN THOUGHT THAT HIDDEN REQUIREMENT WOULD BE A GOOD IDEA? Better equip that hand axe, because fuck logic! He even has an E in axes. Also unimpressive stats screen. RIP Sorry?
Nisya
Let's get Lyn mode over with, so I can finally start with the real game and challenge. Allowed me to take a look at my current units average stats as well. Next time we get another unit, wait actually after the Hector/Matthew chapter, and it's not going to be Eliwood / Marcus. MUCH HYPE. Chapter 10: It's like a mid-season finale, except it's not in the mid and not much of a finale. Anyone study? I forgot. The crew to topple, err.. whatever Caelin, Pharae etc. are called, I forgot. Fluting Wil forward, damn boring rain mechanic. He has come so far (*wipes single tear from cheek*). The 4 least important stats level-up. It keeps on raining for two turns right? Imagine the constant rain / no-rain and eternal day if you just keep on skipping turns :) I seriously had no words for this level and I still don't. It ain't going to Wil, that's for sure, Meanwhile there are only two enemies left, and Wil somehow got A bows in Lyn mode. I gave this to Matthew, horrible STR growth but low STR cap. Should've given it to Lyn maybe. Unit evaluation time! +2 HP, +0.6(2.6)Str, -0.2 Skill, +2.4 Spd, -1 Luck, -2 Def, +2.4 Res. He's ahead on speed, but that doesn't really matter. Overall pretty average Matthew, would've liked more defense. +0.5 HP, +2 Str, +1 Skill, 0 Spd, +1 Luck, -2 Def, -0.5 Res. I suppose he can do with low defense, he ain't going to be in the front line. +2(9) HP, +1 Mag, +0.2 Skill, +1.6 Spd, -1.4 Luck, -0.1 Def, -1.3 Res. Well she ain't screwed over, like my usual Serra so I'm game. I really don't care but here you go: -0.1 HP, +0.7 Str, -0.3 Skill, +0.8 Spd, +1.2 Luck, -0.8 Def, +0.8 Res. Lyn will get another (nice) level from Lundgren so average stats are further down. ROLEPLAY FIGHT TIME! Going to take a while.. Epic dialogue ] Oh shit, he wasn't fucking kidding. For some unknown reason he switched to his Javelin, unless the AI is clever enough to detect incoming ranged attacks? Default quote, need Wil to add some damage. Back to his Silver Lance, but alas, Lyn has prevailed! 10/10 STYLE Allrighty so Lyn stats: +0.9 HP, +0.8 Str, +0.2 Skill, +1.2 Spd, +0.85 Luck, +0.4 Def, +0.1 Res. She's pretty much on average (slightly above), I'm starting to regret not giving her the Energy Ring. Oh, she is also overleveled. Sad Lyn portrait, the feels. Fuck. Well it's not like you're going anywhere with your speed. More sad Lyn :( Fuck knows why I bothered capturing these screens. Enjoy. IT'S TIME TO START FOR REAL (FINALLY)
Shinehollow
I seriously needed to take a picture of Lyn's and Eliwood's sad portraits. And Hector's when he's looking away. YES!Hector hard mode!As you said,FINALLY!
Nisya
Hector mode has begun, had a free day today and played plenty of chapters. Chapter 11 More like one day later. It's pretty obvious: HE IS IN ON THE DISAPPEARANCE PLOT. Well this guy is not going to surprise die, they just spoiled that. Eh, just imagine that this is the first screenshot of the update. Told you he was in on it, he doesn't want anyone to investigate. Matthew's identity crisis, earlier he was a thief, maybe a wraith, but at the moment a spy? Translation: he killed them. I don't think those two goals are on the same page. Hehehe (get it?). So Hector base stats and my overleveled Lyn mode Matthew. Uhh.. wait a second. You're stronger than Hector. Get a grip on reality damn it. Time for Hector to pump some muscle and get some levels. Matthew has invented a new move, THE BLUR OF AVOIDANCE. LAAAAAAAAAME Sick first level, even has speed! MINE. Don't tell me he's going to proc strength every other level after I gave him the energy ring... Hurray? BLUR OF AVOIDANCE. Hector vs. Spooky ghost. Really need this, funds are hard to come by without arena. Less spectacular, but speed and skill is okish for Hector. (Even though his skill growth is 45, just checked) DE-STROYED Speed again? Who the fuck are you? Wire has decent stats, but Wolf Beil = too easy. The speed growth has been unstoppable, Hector is not bluffing. You're actually Nergal? That solves a lot of problems. Fly? Are you some sort of bird now? No wait, according to Hector he is a rogue.. Are we playing FE8? Semi-important plot screen.
Nisya
I was going to watch the friendly international football game, but my country was down by 2 goals and a red card (after 15 minutes) before I even tuned in. So nevermind that. Instead I present chapter 12, where we have at least one new unit which I rolled joining! This chapter went perfectly fine, 0 mistakes or oversights and was a smooth ride *cough*. Chapter 12 I gave the chapter title 4 seconds of thought, but I'm still in the dark regarding the meaning of reference. I can see Eliwood on the map, he seems to be fine. Yay Serra! You better not forget Serra, Hector. He should get experience from this. Because it is. Actually Oswin won't be joining my crew, instead we get the following new units. It is Lowen! Dear god.. at least he is a versatile unit as a cavalier / paladin class. His growths are simply weak in my opinion. (3rd char rolled, #12) And Bartre! As we all know warriors are pretty mediocre, it is to hope he can gain some speed. This also means I get access to Karla later! (4th char rolled, #14) Not sure if I am too happy with these two, they don't sound like top tier units for me. At least I didn't get another archer (Rebecca), we already knew Dorcas was out. And here are Eliwood and Marcus, since I have quite the number of units available already I probably won't have to use Marcus that much. The AI thinks it can hit my units, BUT IT CAN'T. I am, obviously, able to hit low hit rates with ease. So here is the chaotic situation. Have to somehow make Oswin not join in the fight. More speed and resistance, did someone tamper with my rom? Bartre drawing his first blood. FE7 problems: Marcus too strong, can't set up kills. Another level 5? Yep, I screwed up and had to restart. No speed this time, but still an amazing level. Hector doing great so far. First kill for Lowen I think. And Bartre again. I had Rebecca pick up the secret book, this is the only time you get to see her portrait. Oh right, Eliwood, must not forget about this guy. Enemy bandits are stronger than Bartre... Matthew actually died at some point, he got ganged up by three peg knights.. good thing I had a save state a turn back. DON'T YOU MOCK ME WITH THIS LEVEL Eliwood dishing out the criticals. Matthew barely getting away this time. First Bartre level, no speed, but can't complain about 5 stats! I can't help myself but do all the talk options I am aware of. *(#*()#$()#$ FORGOT ABOUT OSWIN, REWIND Serra gets a new level 8, which adds 1 point of skill. AND WHY IS THERE NO SERRA SMILEY, I DEMAND IT BE ADDED. This time I got Oswin away, and surrounded him with Lowen and Matt. Utmost faith in Eliwood, he can set up the kill for Lowen Key stats level? WELCOME ABOARD (for now). Significantly less exciting. Bandit that didn't move was still alive, actually gave exactly the amount of experience for a level! Probably from his mother (HAAHAHA ............ yes that was terrible, ignore) We need more Serra, so I got us some Serra screen capture. Nisya
Do we get a Guy? Chapter 13 Lies, I never issued a rescue command for that. He seems to be choking or something, maybe help? So you can put their name on something after you've buried them. You can't eat gold. This guy. He knows what's up. For some unfathomable reason I moved Rebecca forward Lowen and Bartre both missed when they were supposed to hit. Rebecca got attacked, hang on. This is a mess. BETTER, let's try this again. Hitting squishy lance users with my axe is satisfying. Nice Lowen level and the strongest Matthew ever (remember he has the energy ring that probably went to waste on him) I was 100% sure he would miss and die, but go Eliwood! KILL THE... air? Apart from the mine glitch, mines seem to be the most underwhelming item they have come up with. What's that pegasus knight? Lance too heavy for you? Speed and Luck, ok then. This guy (girl I guess), managed to run away back to fort to heal twice and then just sat hiding in the mountains. Almost didn't notice Guy coming at me, better move back a bit. There is no time limit, shut up. Bartre action. PREPARE THYSELF Guy needs to land a crit or hit twice, purely RNG fight, but we obviously recruited him. (BENCH FOR HIM THOUGH) Eliwood needs the rapier to kill even the silliest enemies, but that might change soon. Matthew going low. But we have a cure for that! I LITERALLY DON'T EVEN ???? Okay Lowen, good luck. I have Hector solo the top side, in case you missed him. 0 hit, too easy son. For Eliwood hit percentages don't mean a thing. That Lowen level.. CRITICAL STAB TOINK, I always forget which game makes which sound. Well that's every staff in the game useable by Serra. Don't want the pegasus exp going to Matthew. Back from her second healing trip, she decided to try and hide there. Bartre missed, she moved one tile right so I had to move Lowen in for the kill... Only Marcus and Hector can hurt this guy. Hector left him at one HP. Which is perfect for Bartre (speed!) Patching up everyone while shopping, aaaaaaaand I'm broke. Cool, thanks. NO SORRY, YOU CAN'T JOIN. Time to get our convoy. Nisya
I've calculated all the supports I'll be doing and I'm starting with them soon. Maybe someone clever can deduce from them which characters might join later on. Chapter 13x Hurray for convoy. Then how are we supposed to stop him. Neither of you is getting paired with Lyn. That can't be right, we are not yet on the map. It's the guy who tried to kill Lyn in chapter 6! He survived. And he is back for vengeance. Nope, more like Supreme High God King of .. blabla you get the idea. Let's lighten up this place. TIME TO BUST OUT THE MARCUS Lowen dodges, I approve. I don't approve of this however. You might have speed, but it's useless without any skill. Eliwood + forest should be good enough to draw some enemies and net him experience. Matthew will solo the right side and run up to the village after. While Bartre fights swords with axes. I'm lucky to have this guy, amazing. GET MORE SPEED FOR DOUBLES GOOD Better heal Eliwood, before his luck runs out. Talking about luck.. Marcus almost died. Mission accomplished. So then I left a gap, had a stupid nomad attack Merlinus. He doubled and missed the first attack. No idea what the hit rate was and I don't want to know either. Nice levels. Oh right, he moves. PLAYTIME IS OVER, CRITICAL DESTRUCTION TIME IS NOW. There is no drawback for not attempting it, so why not eh. Marcus had to finish him, or he'll probably murder Eliwood for example. Get out. I'm scared witless. You don't even have any goods, you just carry our stuff around. Anyways, wanna get drunk? I thought as much. Nisya
Allrite, chapter 14, anyone still with me? Starting to gather the first support points and.. more I guess. Chapter 14 I knew Eliwood was going to betray us, it was obvious with his shitty growths. Leila is on the case. We all know how that will work out in politics. Rebellion, murder, someone should stop this guy.. Oh right, that is what we are here for. "Contemptuous peacock", I've written it down for usage in the near future. FUCK YOU OSWIN DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO, I'M THE LORD HERE Soldiers? You should send Paladins or Sages, not soldiers. Why would I do that, if I have shit I don't need I'd rather sell it. All right the prep screen is back, so I can ditch the liabilities. WE ARE BEST TEAM (and Bartre will take care of the right side) Sup Erk, gimme dat Goddess Icon. Hector draws first blood this chapter. Not good enough Hector. Ok, Bartre.. I've calculated that you should be able to handle all 5 of them in one round. Yes, the perfect time for a raid would be in the middle of a battlefield. Not sneakily at night when there is no one around or something like that. Bartre wrecked them all. STR / SPD? Maybe we're going places after all. HEY, STOP THAT You can ignore the level. I thought Erk would be able to survive for a bit, but he ran into a myrmidon and got killed. So I had Marcus save him instead, causing some trouble for my other units. Without Marcus nearby they were not confident enough to get decent levels. Eliwood doing work with the Killing edge, too bad he dies in 2/3 hits if left in a shitty spot. Then Serra died after getting bumrushed by some enemies... Five hours later the situation finally seemed under control. I'd rather have the other Marcus level. Let's see what your superiors have to say about that? Sorry buddy, seems there won't be reinforcements, you're on your own. And who fucking told you that? Your nanny? And here he comes, better organize quickly. I'm not sure if the bandit prioritizes attacking units instead of raiding the village, or if the rain impeded his movement just enough. VULNERARIES OVERPOWERED, PLEASE NERF Woop. Holy fuck, stop getting STR all the time (actually keep going, but it still slightly annoys me). Bad manners towards Serra? YOU'RE NOT GOING ON THE BENCH, BUT NEXT TO IT ON THE FLOOR. I think think this was a crit. Serra on forest = Erik not doing anything, except missing attacks. What the hell did you even ask her Lowen? MUST DESTROY THE HELPLESS CLERIC. Serra isn't a horse though, so she won't be destroyed. Skill and resistance, very nice *cough*. Hector and Eliwood dealt with him, finally. Gimme them items. Eliwood is doing pretty bad so far. Need to wait for these guys to heal and fly back, meanwhile I'm setting up supports. Bartre too strong for puny pegasi. These two have a conversation if anyone cares. Serra patching every single point of HP. First support, Lowen / Marcus C. I guess Harken and Isadora don't do enough thrusting. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) (The actual line Marcus says is: At that rate, you’d never become a true knight of Pherae! Not like Harken and Isadora!) Since we're done Bartre can cleanup the last unit for a level. Not bad, but no speed. YOU BET I CAN Good for you Eliwood, I'd rather you start proving that you can actually get a decent level.
