I'm doing a Hard Mode run (intended for transfers) at the moment and I can confirm that Sothe is horrible. He can't damage enemies, can hardly steal anything, gets 1HKO'd by everything.... ugh. I've just stopped deploying him. Mia, however, is kicking some serious butt.

Chapter 9 is in the books. Ike: He's maxed Ranger so I'm doing my best to keep him out of combat. Enemies still run straight for him though. HP 40, STR 14, MAG 2, SKL 15, SPD 17, LCK 16, DEF 16, RES 6 Luck and Def blessed, nice. HP is high due to Seraph Robe, everything else near normals. Boyd: Already promoted, level 2. He didn't get speed on his first few levels, so I had to give him the speedwing so that he could double things. Now he's curb stomping, but that will quickly stop. He got RNG screwed. HP 47, STR 18, MAG 5, SKL 11, SPD 20, LCK 10, DEF 10, RES 9 STR and SKL low, MAG and RES blessed... ugh. Speed got a bunch of levels late after no increase in his first 5 or so levels. At least he'll be doubling. Shinon: I managed to get him a couple of levels before he left, so he shouldn't be TOO far behind when I re-recruit him. I forgot to take note of his stats though, so I don't know how he's doing. Doesn't matter much anyway as he'll never be more than a support character. Mist: Not much to report, staff level increased... some un-remarkable leveling... ya. Marcia: Nevermind, Boyd is fine, Marcia is the one that the gods hate. She managed a level-up without ANY stats increasing. Level 8, HP 21, STR 9, MAG 0, SKL 7, SPD 12, LCK 6, DEF 8, RES 6 She's only leveled 3 times, so it's still early, but the only thing ahead of the average is luck. Volke: Will recruit at beginning of next chapter, will need his help. Makalov, Stefan, Lucia, & Bastian: Will come later. More to come later in the week.

Sorry, team is full and I don't want to take the CEXP away from Boyd and Marcia (seeing as I'm going to need to hoard BEXP for Bastian and Lucia!).

Going to be starting on a new PoR run on Monday and I can't decide on who I'd like to use, so I'm going to let others decide for me. Here are some guidelines: 1. This is my first PMU ever so to avoid total screwage, I'm using NM and Random stat growth. 2. No Laguz please. 3. I'm not going for LTC, but I will be going for moderate efficiency. I prefer to use Rankine room temp, so... +/- 530. :) Hilarious typo is hilarious. For me, Rolf is just too fragile, too low-leveled, and too niche to use except when I absolutely want him. I find more uses for Bastian than him. As for Brom, he's just too darned limited by his movement that I find it hard to level him high enough to compete with Gatrie when Gatrie rejoins.

325 hrs. 30mins. over 81 sessions. I'm almost done playthrough #5. I should note though, that sometimes I leave my Wii on while I watch TV, do housework, or tend to my son, so not all that time was actually spent PLAYING. #2 for me is Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 with 256 hours over 61 sessions.
