It's alright, I've played this long ago so my memory is hazy in a few areas, meaning that Vykan probably has the advantage over me.

Parents aren't good for anything, as it seems. All they do is hold up our debate tournament.

Really? I thought he had some strange amount, 14 or something like that.

My suspicion is that Janaff's transformation gauge = Lethe's.

@Ether: make sure to find the following.

Starting gauge:
Gains per turn:
Gains per round of combat:
Losses per turn:
Losses per round of combat:

Unless I counted incorrectly, this is what I came up with.

Janaff
Starting gauge: 20 (transformed)
Gains per turn: 4
Gains per round of combat: 2
Losses per turn: 3
Losses per round of combat: 1

Ulki
Starting gauge: 9
Gains per turn: 4
Gains per round of combat: 2
Losses per turn: 3
Losses per round of combat: 1

Reyson
Starting gauge: 4
Gains per turn: 4
Gains per round of combat: 2
Losses per turn: 3
Losses per round of combat: 1

Basically, all laguz have the same gains and losses per turn/battle, just a different gauge.

For tigers they definitely are, which leads me to believe they're the same for cats, both male and female, and dragons, both red and white.

Actually, considering Lethe and Mordecai have the same gains and losses, I'm convinced I've got the right numbers.

Not in response to Ether, but in response to Sirius.

PM that to Vincent to add it to the main site for future reference. All that's left is just their starting gauges then.

Quick question: can you get more than one Resolve? I know there's one pre-equipped to Taur and supposedly one is in C28, but I could've sworn that it was available before that...

There's only Tauroneo's (which is stuck with him and yes I know you know this) and one in C27 chest.

I think it's pretty safe to say that Resolve's pretty much entitled to Ike/Ena/Nasir since it would be rather superfluous on any other character at this point and speeding up the process of killing that masochist (Ashnard) > superfluity in the last 2 chapters.

Alright, I just didn't want to overhype the thing. So I'd have to use something like Aether until then. Coolbeans, ty.

I'm gonna confirm what Tino said for the gains and losses. Also,it seems that boulders decrease gauge if they hit a transformed laguz, but have no effect on untransformed.

The starting gauge is as follows (gains +4 on turn 1,as well as every turn after until transformed)

Nasir 5
Maurim 5
Lethe 16
Mordy 0
Ranulf 10
Janaff 16
Ulki 5

As a side note, we should probably determine tiebreakers before rounds finish.

I don't really care about the tiebreakers pre-semifinals, we can can just mix and match people without any real consequences IMO. Determining the top 4 for the finals is obviously important though, and should a tie exist we should have a procedure decided beforehand. Here are some possible criteria:

1. Head to head (if the 2 debaters competing had a debate, the winner of that debate wins)

2. No. of matches won, if the debaters tie in points but one received a majority vote in more matchups, that debater would advance

3. Judges vote on who they feel performed better in all the rounds previous

Enemy stats updated to chapter 19. I'll delay my counter until it's finished, which should be within the week.

I'm pondering whether to wait for the lategame stats or do something soon. Hope the wait isn't much of an issue, Cynthia.
