Just curious.

Suggestions are welcome here as a temporary thing until the ticket system is online.

I'm happy with the forums, I love wasting spending my time here. But you could argue I haven't been around long enough to find anything that would make me unhappy about them.

I vote YES!

These forums are awesome, my fav place on the internet.

Sure, there are things I'd change, but that doesn't matter.

The forums are fine the way they are.People criticize you a lot Jyo,but I'm sure they'd see the error of their ways if the place was gone, although I hope it never comes to that. Also, lack of Hitler kitty makes me sad...

I'm not sure. The forums and the community themselves are fine, I guess, though I mostly come here for the Tier Lists.
However, I find it pretty annoying how often people get into massive flamewars here. And Jyosua, no offense or anything, but from the view of an "outsider" like me, it greatly damages your credibility if you participate in those flamewars all the time. I imagine that as an admin, you shouldn't adress the users' complaints about things much unless they are true. However, if you do adress them with this in mind and claim the opposite, it makes you look immature, which is not a good trait for an admin. Of course the users also have fault for complaining about really silly things sometimes, but the best thing to do with those would usually be to not adress them in-depth much, as I said.

Just my point of view.

Well, I generally enjoy the video game forums because I get to help other people and receive help myself. I go to the other forums sometimes though. Sometimes, a lot of chaos erupts and I try to avoid getting hit by it as much as possible.

And yeah, there are certain aspects I'm not comfortable with but I highly doubt the other users are going to agree with me on that. Other than that, I'm good.

btw I like your new signature.

The content is fine etc but some of the members here can be obnoxious or idiots sometime. It has gotten worse lately too. Not singling out anyone in particular but I just think in general it is just bad. I myself have started checking it less and less.

No, because these forums still need a skin.

It's been two months already. Even if no staff member has the time or patience for making or finding one, I don't see why not ask the community for some contribution.

I know this comment misses the intended point, but it doesn't make it any less sincere.

I have to say, this is my one complaint actually, we are kinda in need of a skin.

Are you going to make one~?

Aside from skin (though actually it doesn't bother me much), I'm neutral.

I voted no simply because of the lack of a proper skin.

Even though I don't go here often, I usually enjoy the ride whenever I do.

So yeah. I don't really know anyone here very well though, but I do actually kinda like not being well known in some places.

It's not quite dealt with yet, but you don't need to consider the forum skin (yet) for this poll.

I'm happy here. The only thing I can suggest is a new skin.

We're working on the skin now. I would've made one earlier, but I've been a combination of tired and busy, so I asked Vincent to try figuring it out. If he figures it out, and makes the main skin, I can make some extra skins as well.

Besides the lack of a skin, the forums are fun, for the most part.

Hmm...well, I've been here a little while and I can't really say there's anything I find particularly wrong with this forum. So yeah, I'd say I'm pretty happy here. However, my opinion ought to be taken with a grain of salt...I'm not really active in this forum (or the Fire Emblem fandom in general) aside from my Wayward Son fanfic ^^;

Yeah. It's cool here.

I do have a suggestion, though (probably will be shot down due to being unpopular amongst forum members). As a sub-forum to "Other Games," could we have "Game Reviews" where any user reviews the game of his/her choice? As I said, this is pretty unpopular, but I think it's worth a shot.

EDIT: While we're on the subject of skins, I love this one. It's only a default, but in the future can this skin be chosen like any other ones we get? If so, will this skin ever get a banner?

Well, I don't think a reviews section is a bad idea, however, I would like to suggest that you visit Crystal Mercury's site mercuryice.com. Her site is mostly a reviews site of various games, and other media, but it's not got a massive number of members, so the environment will undoubtedly be nice.

As far as a skin goes, yes, when we get our default foresty one, this one will remain as an option, and we'll modify it a bit to give it a Fire Emblem touch.
