And if you look closely, Ephraim's eyes look weird, especially the right eye...

The sequel is set roughly 20 years after the events of FE8.

And with this, I respond;

Rules of Submission.
-All sprites must of decent quality, and must be (slightly)recognizable as the actual character.
-Upon submission, you grant permission for another spriter to fix any mistakes that he or she may see. (Note: Only major changes will be credited along with the original spriter, minor fixes won't be recognized for credit purposes.)
-All sprites must be of decent quality, and if another spriter produces a better looking sprite then yours, then it is only natural that the better one will be used.
^=The rules of the FE8 Pixel Project, of which the rules I do believe would have been carried over to the hack.
I encourage peoples contribution to the better of these mugs, perfection is only seen if it's believed to be perfect by those who look at it. So if it's perfect to me, and not to you, then it really isn't perfect.
Of course I'm going to not allow edits to some things(Things by Arc and the Lords. etc) mainly because if any errors are found those sprites will be handled by the official graphics team.

Also, I notice the slots for Writing, such as script, is empty. Is that the job of the person listed above all that, or do you actually lack a writer? I only ask out of curiosity of course....

Until this point, it's only been me and Nayr writing, we've written chapter summaries for up to chapter 16 I believe. I've written the first three prologue chapters in detail, but we lack scripts for each, and we lack supports, character histories and things like that.
The plot is mostly figured out though, at least, partly figured out, but we'll manage.
We could always use an extra hand for the things I've mentioned above, if anyone is willing to lend a hand.

One idea is that you could make Eirika and Seth like Pent and Louise - if one is defeated, they don't actually die, and they return to the palace to rest or something.

Aside from that, though, looks pretty damn good.

EDIT: I also might want to help write the script, if you'll have me. I love writing--devising a game's script is no different. Just tossing that out there in case you wanted help there.

I hope to make it harder at the middle section, with it leading into that at the start. I've made you gain a few units, and since the length to any large amount of unit battles aren't until about chapter 10ish, I've decided to make it difficult, that way, if a character dies, you'll gain a new one in a chapter or two.
It'll make it fair, cause one thing I noticed in FE7, which is the game we're hacking, is that you get all the units, and you barely use any of them. ;/

Script is basically just conversations, and that would be one of the easiest tasks available, if you want to take that up.
We only need the 3 prologue scripts at the start, and we have basic details of the dialogue in the chapter descriptions, so if you want to help, just sign up over at the production board.

My apologies, but Nayr and myself are handling most of the plot, and it's pretty much all decided on thin wire what's going to happen. We'll keep you in mind if we ever need a third party helping hand.

Though, something about Natasha's mug bother's me. It makes her head look too thin proportionally, or something like that. It could be just me, though.

Franz-...Simply awesome! Reminds me of the change that Fin went through during the course of fe4. one little nit pick, his back piece of hair looks weird how it flairs out but also seemingly tucks behind him or something like that. Hopefully that made sense...

Derek- He's ok...just a litte boring that he uses the same pieces of hair from a certain someone's younger self positioned to his left...

Marco- Really cool! No complaints from me! Well done! (Is he orson's kid or something, he reminds me of him.)

Willis-...Pink hair...on a dude...That's kinda--... nah just kidding he's fine! Good job again!

Shirley- Fighting evil by moonlight, winning love by day-....Sorry she reminded me of that show for some reason. anyway yet again, another good sprite! Three in a row!

Jocelyn- Cool, calm and sorta shy looking! Perfect for the green knight ( If that's what she is...Any relations to franz? Nanna, anyone? )

Maya- Pretty sweet, you guys have a good record so far, five in a row!

Glen- Interesting choice of class, given who his parents are...but who said the kids have to follow the parents! Again yet another good sprite.

Tana- looks a little too old...in fact she looks way older than ephraim while in the original game she looked younger...

Innes-........Why is he so old!!! He was in the same age group as ephraim and friends...so why does he look like he could be their father!!??

Tethys- Looks great!

Marisa- doesn't look any different, just given a new angle and hairstyle...twenty years later and she is still wearing the same thing....

Cormag- his head looks too small

Rennac- fine other than the fact that he uses innes face...which seems sorta weird...

Duessel is fine though Knoll looks too old.

Myrrh looks fine

Syrene looks...weird...she barely looks different save for the cape, and the wrinkle.

Joshua looks....FANTASTIC!!

Natasha...doesn't look different save for her head deformity.

well that's all from me...i hope i didn't offend anyone. These are not facts just opinions, please treat them as such. Thank you for reading and hopefully you'll at least consider fixing some of the proposed problems.

1. None of the lords are that decorated. I love the hair.

Me and Nayr, and various members on the FEU board have come up with a list of the most canon relationships and marriages, so yes.

When will a demo/entire game come out because it looks awesome?

The entire game won't be released for a while, I'm thinking maybe early 2011 at best, sorry.
As for a demo, we'll only be releasing one to the public containing the first 3 prologue chapters, the rest of the game will be kept to released info and screenshots until the official release.
Of course, beta releases will be given to testers, but that's a different story. *shot*

Faded red, it's possible that it came from Eirika's mother or Seth's parents. You can get hair colours from grandparents. If this doesn't satisfy you, I will ask the spriter if she would like to change it to a more reddish tone.

He is not actually, I'm thinking it's just cause of the hair that he reminds you of Orson.

Due to [spoilers], he left his family, and knighthood, to go and begin a new life as a painter in a smaller town, when you later return to Renais, you'll find him as the castle guard captain, to replace Gallen, and he has a conversation with his son.

Being a parent does that too you. And being married to L'Arachel takes it's tolls too.
