So guys...

WiFi predictions?

Sirius/Paola/Katua, top tier.
Also, I do wonder if they'll add Reclassing. >_>

I hope that the Lawrence explosion scene is replicated and given full detail. It will be hilarious.

Again Staff on WiFi will be insane. Again Staff will make WiFi unplayable if its effects are unchanged.

They're probably bar the again staff in Wi-Fi just like the Ohm staff/Hammene/a bunch of other items.
Though there is the fact of Dancers, namely Feena.

Dancers won't break WiFi.

Again staff would break WiFi because, in combination with a dancer, you can use it up to three times in a single turn, so on most maps you would be able to attack your opponents first turn, giving one player a ridiculous advantage.

True, it just means a powerful character gets to move/attack/heal again.

My previous post. =|

Also, just throwing this idea here:
Wi-Fi would become much more interesting if you got to use nearly your entire army.

If Again Staff works like in Book 2 and Hammerne repairs staves like in Shadow Dragon, Lena and Malessia would be top tier on Wi-fi. Just make a team of 3 Sages, one of them being Lena while the other 2 are just physical attackers. Hello physical attackers being warped by 2 of the sages and Again Staff being used...

Great news. It was obvious what they were going to do next, but it's still awesome news to hear. I can't wait till it gets a NA release date.

I still don't get why they didn't put both of them together in the first place. It's not like Fire Emblem has a gigantic fan base that purchases their games in the first week of its release. It's a pretty tightly knit group of players. Why they couldn't have the decency to "thank" their fans by putting both books in one game I will never know...

Also, I would like to see colored palettes in this one (and I really hope Marth will promote, despite not doing so in the originals. It doesn't have to be EXACTLY the same). I didn't really know how well colored palettes (at least for me) gave a character personality and uniqueness, haha.

This is a given: Better support conversations. Why is Intelligent Systems straying away from this?

So glad to hear about this.

Was expecting six though, since the prequel's already been released here....actually, they could just send us the game with the translation.........

FE6 seems suited to DSiware IMO.
GBA cartridge can hold 64 megabits or 8 megabytes (and i doubt FE6 takes up the whole cart), and most DSiware titles are a bit larger than that. Translate it, keep the graphics ect, perhaps add 2 screen/X and Y button functionality, add some FE7 characters to the trial maps (and make Hector and Eliwood a Knight Lord and a Great Lord) and you are set.

I'm hoping they include the satellaview maps, unlockable Hardin and Wolfguard in a second playthrough, and official art for everyone.

No complaints here, apart from the fact that not only can I not find FESD in stores but I'll also likely never get a 3DS.

Ah well, c'est la vie.

Get rid of it. Unless they can come up with a different style and completely overhaul the game, Wi-Fi was lame.

It was certainly better than Link Arena though.

Yet people still play it, so saying "get rid of it" is kind of lame to those that like it.

Although I'm somewhat disappointed with them not releasing a new game in between, I am at least glad they're continuing with the series! This wait was one of the longest ones yet and I was terrified they had cancelled the series. Besides, it's not a strange move, considering these games haven't been released in the West yet. I'm curious to see how it will end up. Maybe it'll even light up that ol' Fire Emblem spark in me ^^

I'm personnally not terribly thrilled by this remake. I was disappointed by Shadow Dragon's lack of new conversations, and my greatest fear is that it may be the same with New Mystery of the Emblem. :/ I may be wrong though, and if that's the case my interest on this title will go sky-high.

It really looks like I'm the only one here who never even liked supports or the conversations that went with them, and never put any actual effort into making them and, if there was a really easy support to make that I ended up doing, I just skipped the conversations. They're not that well written, they are normally fairly boring, and even the added "personality" from them, most characters are still incredibly generic.
