Arrin's godly offense is helping him though. He also can take more hits than most Mages on the team (IIRC he has existant defense).

I think Chase was there because of Crimson weapon, doubles slow enemies, doesn't get countered half the time.

Arrin has 6HP? Not 9? Ok, yeah, he needs to drop...

@Cess's defense: Morgan has Miracle, which ensures that she can survive 1 hit no matter what.

You are forgetting that we have enemy phase now
His one defense doesnt help him there
I could understand if he was a Mage but archers tend to have at least 2 or 3 defense

If he was a mage his low defense wouldn't be justified. You can't say "oh, it's fine for mages to have lame defense, but we cant letter archers get away with that!"
He has one of the best offenses in the group, and he has a good enough defense due to high avo.

It's still possible (average enemy has 3 str, if they hit and roll a 3 or above that's a OHKO). Also a boss typically has 4 str so any hit except a 1 will OHKO.

(Something to point out that you guys don't know)
Irina has a useful combat trick that I've been neglecting to use. Since she has the skill Hawkeye, she can increase her hit rate a bit. The thing about it is, Hawkeye doesn't let you add Luck to your evasion when you use it. This doesn't effect Irina's evasion because she has 3 SPD points which adds up to = 4.5 evasion. That rounds up to 5 evasion in actual combat, so taking away the one point of luck she has doesn't decrease her evasion, but she gets a one point boost for the HIT. It's a small perk but it's note worthy since the skill hawkeye has absolutely no drawbacks for her. I am probably going to start using it actually.
