Officially, we've 2 more days to go, but unsurprisingly, some fans have already gotten a copy of the game.

This topic is meant to be where new findings are posted, so as to not clutter up the rest of the FE3 DS board. Of course, if it's something huge that deserves its own thread, then feel free to make one. Similarly, if you need to discuss an aspect in depth, a new thread would be preferred.

Key details (pre-release)

• Remake of Mystery of the Emblem (Book 2)
• Create your own main character "My Unit" who fights alongside Marth
• New prologue and sidequest chapters with a larger focus on My Unit
• Contains a remake of the BS Fire Emblem chapters
• Four difficulty settings and a new Casual mode, where characters don't permanently die
• New downloadable episodes

Two images from a small booklet that has some general info on the series and this game. You can see some of the revamped maps here.

The class choices for the My Unit creation revealed in the retailer meeting seem to be true (as expected). However, it appears you can indeed Reclass My Unit afterwards like a normal unit. So you can Reclass a male My Unit from Fighter to Pirate. Presumably it also works in going from, say, Archer to Myrmidon (haven't checked yet). This info is from ChinaFE.

EDIT: It's currently off-air I believe. For some reason, they were on Prologue 6, but decided to redo the prologue from scratch the last time I watched.

Also, give me a shout when the ROM is dumped. Just don't link to it of course.

So the shards seem to boost stats directly rather than growth rates? Well, I'll take that. It helps immediately but is much less likely to be game breaking.

It sounds like you can do them whenver. They seem to be like Trial Maps but with story, like the BS FEs.

I can see they're on Prologue 7 and Cain is an enemy Cavalier.

They met Marth. I'm not exactly sure what's going on though, lol.

He just beat Prologue 8. It seems that the epilogue is now playing. My Unit is speaking to Katarina.

EDIT: Is the prologue just training for My Unit? It seems like it because of all the playable units he fights (Jagen (well, not really Jagen but you know what I mean), Cain, et cetera).

Looks like battle preparations happen on prologue 8 and there's a new theme for it too.

Actually, I don't think Prologue 8 is the final Prologue chapter. Maybe I missed something coming back and forth from USTREAM to here, but the chapter he is currently on doesn't look like Chapter 1 in the original.

I couldn't quite read the text properly, but it seems Katarina's real name is Aine. Roro appears in the dialogue and mentions Aine's name.

I see Marth, Draug and Cain in the roster, but I don't know if they joined in Prologue 7 or 8.

Also, this is the last chance for Katarina to appear, assuming the poster was telling the truth.

Also isn't MyUnit's class swap unique in that it includes all classes you can turn into in the beginning instead of being be ordered into Light and heavy sets?

Female Generals are in the game. It seems the female Reclass group is the same, but with Generals when promoted.
