Not funny, DICK.

Seriously though, take your time. We'll just accept every video you post as a gift from above.

I'm liking the commentary, his voice is fine the way it is if he's going for an informative approach. Not all videos with commentary have to be humorous.

Chapter 13:

About the 5 turn strategy that I was talking about: I didn't actually execute the strategy to completion, but I am 99% sure that it can be done. As I stated in the video, Marcus solos the south route and Matthew follows just far enough behind to recruit Guy, while all other units go the west route and prioritize clearing the path for Lowen. Marcus should have enough movement to just barely reach the tile in front of Boies on turn 4. He should not use his full movement on either turns 1 or 2, turn 1 being to ORKO a brigand, and turn 2 being to lure Guy to the edge of Matthew's range.

I might consider recording the strategy just for the sake of completion, but it's rather pointless.

Turns: 6

Thanks alot for these strategies.

Would you mind if I use some of them to go through the FE7 SOYO draft better?

I didn't bother asking, I just went ahead and studied the videos. There's a lot of things I can't do here (like use Lowen), but I'm learning quite a bit.

Now to get past Chapter 15 with nary but Hector, Matthew, Marcus, and two squishy healers. . .

Well, I actually thought it'd be kinda rude to just steal this and use it without crediting. I admit I've used two of your tactics at the FE10 draft, but at least I credited and thanked you for them in the post. 8[

Thank you, dondon.

I was wondering that...

I thought 'Guy' was simply pronounced as you would refer to a male subject.

So far, I haven't really used any of the tactics (I did thank Horace for his video, as I used something out of there). I've been using these videos to see what kind of beating my units can take.

Gee is correct

It also helps that I believe the katakana support this, being ギィ.

Tangent: In the past I (unsuccessfully) tried to convince the translator of a fan translation project (for a different game) that this was the proper pronunciation, and the result was the unfortunate use of Gii throughout the game.

Very impressive. I'm very excited to see how you utilize Barf-tray's abilities. Looking forward to more videos.

Guy is sort of a weird spelling for his name, though. It should probably be Gui.

Anyway, I've not had a chance to watch the video yet, will do when I'm actually on a computer.

It's because it's actually French, the short version of the name Guillaume (William in English). Gui is like the French version of the name Will.

There is literally no evidence to support this Guy = Gui nonsense. It could be that way, or it could be the British pronunciation, which is simply how the gender is pronounced. Of course, I can't comment on this whole "katakana" point, but I'm going to assume it's a complete fabrication so that I may continue to live in a fantasy world where Guy = Guy.
