*: I just feel like listing my favorite pairs for those games, even though I don't really care for pairs in those games. (FE8 because I don't play it often, and FE9 because of FE10.)

I don't want to put my reasoning for every pair because I feel like it's too much space and trouble.

But out of those I mainly support (some reasoning included):

Hector X Lyn - They suit each other, and they both seem to love each other.
Eliwood X Ninian - Tender and sweet
Roy X Lilina - See the 2nd part of Hector X Lyn.
Ike X Elincia - Such a good potential aesop here, and I.S. goes ahead and screws it up by scrapping it in favor of Elincia X Geoffrey and Ike X Soren.
Astrid X Anyone not Makalov - She didn't deserve a guy like Makalov. Period.
Marth X Caeda - Classic
Merric X Elice - They seem to love each other.
Sigurd X Dierdre - I curse Manfroy for splitting up an otherwise happilly married couple.

To add some salt to the wound (so to speak), Lakche becomes Johan's and Johalva's cousin if she's Lex's daughter. (But then again, every candidate for Lex's daughter, even non-predestined ones, becomes Johan's and Johalva's cousin if Lex is that candidate's father.) And Roy and Lilina become cousins as well if Fiora is Roy's mother, and if Florina *shudders* (pure blasphemy at its finest) or Farina is Lilina's mother. (In the case of Roy and Lilina though, personally, it seems highly unlikely that they are cousins.)

It's FE4. Incest is all over the place. Lachesis had a goddamn crush on Eltoshan and Alvis slept with his sister.
Might as well make super epic Odo babies at that. Lakche DOES have a crush on Shanan, canonically.

...Actually I do it for the +3 str to Shanan at endgame and his ability as a better support unit in general with the ability to dodge Meteo a good amount of the time thanks to high speed. LakchexJohalva is really damn cute, but I found LakcheShanan more useful considering how much I use Lakche and how Shanan, well, is a far better unit considering massive AS lead, better weapon type and Holy weapon to boot. I prefer pairings that I find convenient and helpful in gameplay.
