Christofer was sitting in his households living room, writing a novel about his adventures when he was young. His lovely wife Sara was sitting another chair over, editing his work as he wrote. His lovely daughter Ellandra was up stairs, studing the gods when there was a knock on their door. Christofer and Sara looked at each other, frightened.
"I'll get it." Chris said to his wife as he stood up and walked towards the door. He heard Ellandra upstairs pushing out a chair and walking towards the stairs. He stopped, resting his hand on the door knob as he took a deep breath. He turned back to his wife, who gave him a gentle nod. With a rustle he quickly swung the door open.
On the other side of the door stood a tall soldier, his helmet closed, he was splatterred with blood, and his Steel Spear was still dripping red. He reached up with his free hand and lifted his visor to reveal young face, smiling Ear to Ear. "Mission Success!" The Soldier said, giving his father a salute.
"You're alive!" Was all Chris could say as he embraced his son, crying happily. Sara stood up and walked over to the door frame, smiling as tears streamed down her cheeks. "We were so worried when Sliep came back alone, what happenned to you?" Cris asked, breaking the embrace and giving his son a worried shake.
"Nothing, Father." Zelatus said with a smile. "The mission was indoors, so I sent him home, but I tell you the fight was glorious. In fact, I personally killed-"
Zel was cut short, as Elandra's voice rang from up stairs. "Who is it Father?"
"Your Brother came back safe and sound dear, returned to your studies." Chris called. "Come in Come in son, yes, was their anything out of the ordinary that you saw?" He said, ushering Zel in with a smile as Sara pulled out a rag and began wiping the blood off Zels armor.
"You mean outside the army of identical people, not really. Though one thing I did find interesting was that one of the core assault forces was one of the most... I don't know how else to describe it but Rag-Tag, group of people. They were all quite skilled... and I was wondering if we could use some of your 'inside information' to possibly track them down. It strikes me as odd that such a group of misfits could fight so effeciantly."
Chris stood blinking at his son for a moment, and turned to his wife. She nodded with a smile. "Fine." He said. "I'll check my sources and see if they don't know anything, Though while they do that, you are going to sit down, have dinner, and tell us the rest of this fight." Chris stated in a commanding tone, slapping his son on the shoulder as he began guiding him to the dining room. They passed a small armory on the way. "But you're not using this." Chris said, grabbing Zel's Steal Spear from right out of his hand. "When you head out tomorrow you'll be taking this." As he spoke he grabbed a Defending Spear and twirled it masterfully between his fingers. "Remember Son, it is not only a Knight's Duty to slay his countries enemies, but to protect his land's people, as such I want you to take this, and use it well."
Zel took the spear, at first with disappointment in his expression, though he quickly shook it away and gave his father another salute. "Yes Sir!"
The Following Morning.
Zel looked over the paper his father's contact had given him, a motel at the edge of town. Looking around he identified a carriage, far to large for one person's use. With a nod and a pat on Sliep's side he dismounted, and swaggerred into the building and up to the counter. "I'm looking for Raquel." He said from behind his helm.

Well I can't get anything done if I don't know when we'll leave. Guess I'll go get that shield from Connor.
He headed out to the front of the inn when he saw the archer from before there.
"Good morning to you," he said to Robin.

"Speaking of Gabbie, I hope she shows up soon. Connor too since she dragged him with for whatever reason." Raquel replied, inconvenienced and a little bitter in general. "If I remember right, the second mission was to find out what happened to those Kigenese mercenaries. If someone was following them, then they're probably already dead if they dropped out of contact. It's kind of time sensitive for a mission but they might already be dead. I don't think it's going to be possible for us to capture a fallen ourselves if we have to start from scratch."
Gabriel
"My charm, plus a little added demonstration during the battle may have saved a lot of lives, actually. The woman in charge, she didn't want to lose a couple dozen men trying to take down little ol' me, so she cut her losses." he explained as if everything had gone perfectly. Well for him maybe it had. "She might have also been grateful that I returned her shotgun rather than doing something mean with it. Just a hunch though." he added as a bit of a joke.
Amon
Someone asking for Raquel? That guy looks dangerous ... from here at least. he thought to himself as he stood up from his breakfast and walked over. "Can I ask what you want with Raquel?"

"Small battalion ...?" I guess he means us. Amon thought to himself. "Well ... I'm Amon. I'm apart of the ... small battalion. She might still be asleep, so if you really want to talk to her, you should probably just stick around for awhile." he suggested.

"Uh, could you not say that so loud?" Amon started off. "I'm not really sure if I should say why we were there. That's something you should probably ask Raquel."

"Yes, from what Ranyin said the Fallen are very dangerous creatures indeed. Where would we start looking for these mercenaries anyway...somewhere in Kigen I suppose? Do Weyland's people have more information?" Veronika asked of Raquel.
Lysandra
"Well, you spared unecessary bloodshed, which is always a good thing. People do take kindly to having their things returned," Lysandra said with a small chuckle. "So Doctor Dolan's research, did you find out if it had anything to do with...him?" she asked Gabriel, her expression growing more serious.
Alastor and Noelle
Alasor woke up early the next morning, feeling somewhat anxious about the upcoming mission. He checked on the soldiers that had arrived the previous night, not as many warriors as he would like if things came to blows but time was of the essence. Fortunately, he ran into Noelle in the hall during his rounds.
"Noelle, I need you to locate the woman described in this letter and tell her Alastor is waiting for her in the main hall of the cathedral. He wants to discuss the emblem."
Noelle rubbed the sleep out of her eyes. "Aye aye Captain," she said, inwardly sighing. She had hoped to just rest this morning, but no such luck. She went to the stables to find Lucky and fly out to the military barracks. She figured that the guards around here might know something about any new merchant arrivals coming through the city.

"Alright." Amon replied before sitting down to finish the rest of his breakfast, some toast. He occasionally glanced over at the armored man, wondering what he wanted.
Raquel
"I think Amon's got the files the Professor gave us, though I do remember that they were in contact with him until they got close to the border. Not sure what that could mean, but we're suppose to find out what happened and if possible complete their mission for them. Completing it for them ... has me worried. Either we have to fight whatever killed them, or track down a new fallen. I'm not sure how that's even possible." she explained sounding more and more worried. "I'll take another look at the files once I freshen up."
Gabriel
"I didn't find anything that would make me certain of that, but Dolan was running the project, and when things went sour, he should have ran, but instead he held up in that building and fought to the bitter end. That surprised me, even with a dragon at his side. Something had to influence a decision like that. After all, he had plenty of time to use the escape tunnel before it collapsed." Gabriel explained. "The military might not have been the only ones ready to take him down, that's what I'm guessing."
Gabbie
Once Gabbie had finished some morning exercises and checked her lance for any damage that she might have overlooked in the dark, she went to where Connor was sleeping and nudged him with her free hand. "Ey there. We gotta go soon so wake up."

She began searching through her things again to no avail. The tome simply wasn’t there. It was then that she vaguely remembered someone bumping into her while she was looking at staves last night… “Shit.”
-----
After dropping Joanna off at the church, Valter hurried and caught up with the group just in time to be let in to the fortress. He was not about to miss out on military grade equipment, after all. Out of all the pretty new weapons he bought a crossbow, of all things. After a few practice shots he found it to be less accurate than his bow, but on the plus side it could be shot with only one hand. He would need to get some sort of crossbow holder for Phyll’s saddle…
A while later, after successfully finding everything he needed and loading it on his horse, he noticed Bert trying to return an axe. Of course he offered to pay for it, he had a few hundred gold on his person at the very least and it wouldn’t be hard to get more, it wasn’t like he was short on money. After several other… things were taken care of, he found an inn and turned in for the night. The next morning Valter rode to the inn Raquel’s group was staying at, arriving a few minutes after Bert.

IC: Robin shook Zelatus's hand in greeting, then Domovoi's hand as well. "Do not be formal with me. I am a commoner even within my own nation. Country Girl would be a better name than 'me-laddy'." she said, unintentionally mispronouncing the word. She looked at Zelatus with a curious glance. "Please, tell me a bit about yourself."

''Good morning.'' He first said. ''So you want to speak to Raquel?''
