"That's no good," Gytha muttered as she finished getting ready for the day. Once she, herself, was done, she tended to Maw, gently unwrapping the cat's head.

He started casting and the wind began picking up, circulating around the room. The picture shifted a little, raising slowly into the wind...

"Nnh ok," Connor mumbled as a sleepy, semi-coherent response, eventually working his way out the door and into the lobby of the hotel, all of his things in hand.
Lysandra
"I can't think of anything at the moment necessarily. Once it becomes time to enact the plan we may need some additional help, as I doubt Sardis and the others will take too kindly to our interference...and if they have enough people to be prowling around here there may be more than I expected. I'm certainly no pushover, but I'm no spring chicken either," Lysandra replied to Gabriel, smiling a little.

The bowman coughed slightly and tried to keep a straight face when he spoke again. “I don’t think it’s a good idea for me to do it myself, for me or anyone else. How about this instead? I get you something to quell your poor starving stomach, then you deliver the item for me. Fair enough?”

Swell, Gytha, just great. Was she even paying attention? Synthia looked up for a moment to confirm that no, she wasn’t paying attention, she was tending to her cat. The cat with the bandaged eye socket. Wait a minute… “Gytha, you ever tried having Maw’s eye healed by a staff before?”

"Aye... It's too old a wound and a'sides, th' eye's comepletely gone. Nothin' t' repair and replacin's impossible," Gytha replied as she applied the ointment to the inside of the socket. When that was done, she carefully began wrapping the cat's head again with a clean bandage. Once that was finished, Maw curled up to rest for a while.

Frantically, Ranyin rushed to the window in a weak attempt to make a feeble grab for the painting. Unfortunately for him, it was too far away and by the time he was ready to cast a spell to call the painting back, it might have fallen to the ground and get trampled on.
He could barely make out the figures of Bert and his pegasus conversing with the nomad who joined them in battle last night. The pegasus! He could use his pegasus to get it, thought Ranyin as hope swelled to him. He raised his voice and screamed, "My painting! Bert! My painting!"

Once Connor was ready to go, she had him get on Ringo. She got on herself once she was sure the harness was still secure, and then they took off. Normally she wouldn't have been flying with her wyvern in the daytime, but it was more important for her to reach the group quickly, and on top of that, she had something else she needed to do first. Flying back to Weyland Enterprises, she landed and dismounted in front of the main entrance.
"I'll be roight back. Just need to see about the rew-Wha?" she cut herself off when a familiar woman came trotting out the door with some rather large bags in her hand. "Oh hi there, 09!"
"... Anna ... hi. What's with the bags?"
"Oh we were going to bring you the reward money, but I was bored so I wanted to handle it. It was the perfect excuse to get out of that desk, teehee!"
"What? You're a desk worker. Why would they send you to deliver our reward money? I'm actually surprised you're even holdin' those up loike that." she replied crossing her arms.
"I'm only a desk worker some of the time. Other times I'm on recon, or patrol."
"PATROL?! What the hell?!"
Gabby
"Heh, well so much for keeping myself busy then." he said before finishing off the tea in his cup. He'd forgotten to do it slowly and only caught himself mid gulp. After that, a sigh, and the cup was sat down. "Though, I suppose I could keep an eye out for this 'help' we might need."

Zel chuckled. "I hope you don't mean target practice Robin. As for being accepted, I don't even know if I want to join yet. That depends on what this group is doing." he said with nod.
I don't think Dark describes it.
Chelsea slowly stirred nearby, sitting up with a stretch and a yawn. Shadrak stopped his meditation to drop the magic field, as not to stifle her so much. The Tome fell into his hands before he got up and crawled out of bed. "I'll let you wake and freshen up." He said as he put his robe on, pocketing his tome. Chelsea just nodded drowsily. Shadrak smiled and headed out, the door opening for him with a simple flick of the wrist before he was even there, and closing behind him automatically as he walked out and down the stairs.
He went to the inn keep and set some coin on the counter and orderred himself some breakfest, taking a seat out of the way from everyone else when it arrived, eating it slowly.
((GoD gave permission to CC Chelsea so that we can get the show on the road.))

“Oh,” Synthia replied simply and began placing her things back in her bag. When she finished she slung it over her shoulder and stood up, ready to leave. “Well, I’m going downstairs… I’ll see you later, I guess.”

Veronika put on a new tunic and went out to the main area of the inn. She saw John eating and waved hello.
"Morning John. How's Gil doing?" she asked him, taking out some fruit to eat as well.
Connor
Connor figured he was tired and must have heard things incorrectly. "Patrol? Why would a hotel receptionist go on patrol? Isn't that usually a job where you, uh, stay at the desk all day?" he asked Anna.
Lysandra
"Oh, I'm sure you can find plenty of things to do without my direction. Find a nice girl, take her out to dinner or something," she said to Gabriel, laughing a little. "But if you're really in need of something to do, we could probably use a ship in the future as well...one to get us past the warzone. It may take some time to find someone willing to risk a voyage," Lysandra said, finishing her tea.

“Oh, I don’t think we’re leaving yet. I just want to be down there early to ask some questions,” the healer said, crossing her arms. She opened the door and walked out. “I swear, if that bastard stole my tome…”

"A'right," Gytha replied as she followed the healer, "C'mon, Maw." And sure enough, the cat followed after them.

"Yes I have all my stuff packed. Do I ride Riz now?" asked Ranyin eagerly measuring his small size against the small framed window as common sense started leaving him. I should be able to squeeze through if I just let my bag go ahead of me...

"He does that a lot doesn't he? Wyverns all have their own pecularities I suppose just like people, though they are quite useful. But you managed to hold your own well enough last fight without his help. Our...teammate seems to have less confidence in my abilities," Veronika said to John rather bitterly.
