I planned to finish the game about a month ago, but... the roadblock know as Vindel happened. Then this new forum came and reminded me of it. This draft might just be dead, but I set out to complete it, and goddammit I'm gonna!
Scenario 41: I started this scenario on the same day as scenario 40, I believe, so I don't remember much of it. I remember killing the einst ASAP and carefully distributed the kills for will. The Einst reggiseur went down in one turn. Vindel's team was really annoying. I used up a little too much energy, and wasn't able to kill Vindel on the first try. The second try was a month and a half later. I ended up wasting 10 turns to regain energy and SP. Vindel went down in 2 turns after that. 21/303+16
Scenario 42: This was easier than I expected. I completely ignored the regisseurs and rushed to Alfimi. She was paper thin, especially with Elzam's armor breaker. The Neue Regisseur was a bit tougher. I drained his energy with my weaker units chipping him along with support attacks. I was able to get 5 hits with the Koryuoh's strongest attack with a combination of Kusuha's zeal and Alfimi's enable. I eventually finished it off with Alfimi, for drama's sake.
314+16 turnsThe unitsKoryuoh: My best unit, easily. It has speed, power, 2 spirit sets, HP and EN regen, and a great pilot.
Daizengar: A great damage dealer, but it doesn't feel as solid a unit without Elzam to provide the combination attack. His movement wasn't amazing, his horrendous hit rate had to be covered up with a part, and Sanger's spirits are a bit pricey. Despite these flaws, it was still a great unit.
Boxer-L: Ended up being my best real robot. 'Dat G Sword Diver, man. So much damage. I ended up putting Tasuku in it. He used its insane armor well.
Grungust: I'm so glad I picked this unit. It was the only thing I had for a long time. Luckily, it was competent. Kai used it well early on, but I put Katina in when he got his Gespenst. It was a good unit. Not exceptional, but it didn't fall behind.
Wildweurger: It was okay. Arado had an insane melee stat thanks to all of the spare PP he had. By endgame, it dealt as much damage to enemies with his combination attack as the Koryuoh. Still, the weak armor and high evade doesn't work well with Arado's high armor and meh evade.
Weurger-L: I put Gilliam in it. It's entire purpose was pretty much to support attack. It had a few moments where stun shot helped out, but it was just an average unit.
Gespenst Mk-II S: A great unit. High damage, 4 part slots, good movement, and good all around stats. It wasn't a game changer since I got it so late, but it was a solid unit.
Ganduro: I put Kyosuke in it. It was really good, and the low movement was canceled by accel. Thanks to it, Kyosuke wasn't underleveled when he was forced on the save excellen stage.
WildFalken: Seolla isn't a terrific unit. Her sole purpose was to support attack and give Arado his combination attack.
Katina's Gespenst: RED! Yep, it's a standard gespy. I put Elzam in it for furied armor breakers. It did its job.
R-3 Powered: Aya is a better support unit than I expected. Attune helped me many times, and renew saved my ass a few times.
Schutzwald: I gave it a boost hammer, a repair and replenish module, and Latooni. Like the Gespy, it did its job. I kind of wish I'd trained Leona so I could've drained the final boss' energy with fury and an EN taker.
... Aaaand I didn't use the other 2.
And since I'm already pretty much copy and pasting Excellen's post, I'll do the kill rankings as well.
Arado-120
Kai-113
Katina-104
Tasuku-90
Lefina-73
Bullet-72
Aya-69
Sanger-65
Gilliam-53
Kyosuke-52
The only units I used that didn't get their ace bonuses were Lat and Seolla.
That's all, folks!
