Hello, everyone!
I began spriting a little while ago and well, I almost "splice" and make a little editing work in every mug, so I'm not that great, but I DO want to improve my skills, and that's why I'm posting my works in here ^-^

So, let's begin with the very first ones I did... (they're just splices xD)


This one is Yuan Ka-Fai(L) from ToS. xD Yes, I used Ephraim as a base and his cloak is... pretty weird °_°"


This crazy-eyed girl was supposed to be me in my first hack. She's a Thief and her name is Nihal xD.


My first custom mug! Frontside of Nihal. That braid is horrible but I'm pretty proud about this mug xD (and she's sooo happy! <3)

And now... it's time for some little cuties.

Chibi Serra, Erk and Nihal! xD (Serra is pretty much the cutest ofthem all xD)






And now... here we go with the ones I made recently for my new hack (yes, I'm trying to figure how to hack, but I'm terrible at it. XD).


Mathias. He is the early paladin you get and that will save your ass in difficult situations. He's pretty much like Seth, with nice bases and growths. xD


This one is Prince Cornelius, sounds like a terrible nome for a child, doesn't it? Well, that name makes people imagine him as a strong and terribile boy, while he's just... a spoiled brat. XD


Next one is George, a shaman. I still have to make his talking frames. xD


She's Adamantis, a social knight! I like her a lot. XD Her growths are quite like Astrid's. So, she has high Luck, spd and Res and an average strenght.


And here we go with "Little Nihal". She's the only thief of my hack and she can't promote, just Like Julian xD


This one is the definitive version of Nihal, but as an archer. She is in the hack along with "Little Nihal". She comes from the future, just like Viki from Suikoden xD. I'm really proud about this mug, one of the best I've made *_* (and she finally has an awesome braid XD)

Next is Taril, a Myrmidon!

I selected a few colours for him, but I think I'll go with the fourth one. What do you think? °°

And the last is...

Heydar! I finished him yesterday at 2 AM =w= He's a Hunter, but I'm still not sure about his class. Maybe I'll go for a nomad. xD

Your creations are so cute. I was wondering if. Nihal'name comes from emerged world's chronicles? I toughtTaril has a really long... I don't know how to say "the thing that link head an body" in english hope you know what I mean x)

Really? Well that changes things. Now it just sounds like an even more cookie-cutter character than before.


*ahem*

Now, Niharu? Your newer sprites are... daresay, better than your previous ones, but not without flaws. Most prominent ones are as follows...

Mathias' head looks too narrow, and that mess of hair definitely isn't helping. It makes the shape of his head look stretched out; too tall. On the note of the hair, you combined FE8 colors with the FE7 border/skintones, etc. If you want to stick to the style, don't do that. At all.

Same with Cornelius. Hair's stretching his head too high up, and the top could stand to be brought down a few rows, at LEAST. Not to mention, that crown looks like it's about ready to fall off his head.

George's hair is disgusting. It's clumpy, the shading is inconsistent, and the cowlicks seem to be coming from behind him rather than his hair. Beyond that, the head, neck, and body are on different angles. Head and neck seem to be the standard 3/4ths view, but the body is angled more towards the screen, and there's no indication that he's actually turning his head to look to the side.

Where Cornelius and Mathias had heads that were too tall, Adamantis' head looks too short. The part? It looks like her skull caved in. The trim on her armor looks flat, as in no shading. This is likely due to the lack of contrast between the light colors. Want examples of good trim for armor? Look at Kent and Sain.

"Little" Nihal's bangs are chunky, also with inconsistent shading. Her eyes are also too far apart. The ideal proportion for eye distance is that one more eye should be able to fit snugly in between the two.

Older Nihal has no muscle in her shoulder, even by anime standards. As it is now, it's skeletal.

Taril's a giraffe. That neck needs to be shorter.

Last but not least, hey there- I mean Heydar. His body is tiny. Like, child tiny. Alternatively, he's missing his right arm. Dayan's wolf pelt generally doesn't work on most portraits when you change its shape without changing the shading. It does the above; either makes the body look small, or like he's missing an arm.

Yes I think it's what i mean his neck is too long and for resize it, if want to keep his face turned left (our left) then you'll have to leave fall his collar. If you don't , i'm scared that he won't have mouth frames ^^

Dei already gave you some good critique, so I'll just say that I really like your character designs. And Cornelius' little crown is adorable. You've definitely improved since you started, keep it up! :)
