Eh... SG you cant change picks, sorry.
Hm. I was pretty sure you told me it was alright in your last post, but it doesn't matter. Just get Manix and Overlord to make their picks so I can get it then.

I meant you can do so during this round. Like, pick a Johto instead of Kanto

You probably should have clerified that, because I don't think Manix and Overlord even want anymore pokemon (which means i'd never see another pick). I don't see what the big deal is about letting me swap them when everyone else is already so far into the game, but w/e.
Anyway, i'll be starting my run today with or without him. I had to do alot of trading from my SS to HG so I didn't lose all the pokemon I downloaded from gamestop. Also, my updates won't nearly be as often or thorough, but i'll update at least after every gym.

Scroll down to the bottom if you can't be bothered reading.
I begin by grabbing the S.S Ticket from Prof. Elm, flying to Olivine City to board the ship. I take 5 minutes in there, and get out in Vermillion. I go to the gym, and somehow unlock the gates on my first try. Saves me some time, I guess. Lt. Surge was a bit of a pain. I give Quilly Earthquake, and set up on Raichu using 2 X SpD, 3 X SpA and 3 X Spe. Raichu is all loaded with Double Team, but I KO it anyway. Everything else is OHKO'ed by Earthquake.
After that, I head north to Saffron, getting TM29 on my way to the gym, giving it to Ez. I fiddle with the teleport panels, not getting the quickest route, but still reasonably quickly, and fight Sabrina. Her Espeon is such a pain. I resort to using Blaster to soften it for Ez to KO. I set up Ez against Alakazam, using 3 X SpD and 2 X Spe. I OHKO Alakazam with Shadow Ball, but Mr. Mime isn't KO'ed, and sets up Light Screen. I trudge through all her Full Restores and eventually KO it.
I head west to Celadon, having Quilly bomb Erika without much trouble, setting up 2 X SpA and 1 X Spe. I bike down to Fuschia, and Ez tosses Janine aside with 2 X Def and 1 X SpA. I fly back to Saffron head east to trigger a fly point to Lavender, fly back to Saffron, head north, fix Power Plant, and prepare to fight Misty. I have Blaster OHKO Golduck with Thunder, and I bring in Ez to KO Quagsire. Blaster struggles against Starmie, but after set up KO's it, and KO's Lapras not too soon after.
I fly to Lavender to get the EXPN Card, and fly to Vermillion, fleeing from Snorlax once I wake it up. I bike through Diglett's Cave, and head north to deal with Brock. Inky OHKO's Graveler, Rhyhorn and Onix, while Blaster OHKO's Kabutops and Omastar. I head south to Cinnabar, and then east to the gym. Inky has a field day KO'ing everything.
Now for the fun part, Blue. I lead in Quilly, and safely 2HKO Exeggutor with Flamethrower. I swap Inky in to crit Surf Rhydon. Ez comes out and 2HKO's Machamp with Psychic. Inky comes back out to deal with Arcanine, and then Blaster OHKO's Gyarados with Thunder.
Pidgeot was a bitch. I had to sacrifice all of my remaining Pokemon just to get Blaster to full health (and Ez chipped it with Psychic), as Return was ~105/143 HP on Blaster (not even +1 Def saved it at half health). Blaster KO'ed it with Thunder, and that was that.
Remaining health:
Quilly: 0
Ez: 0
Inky: 0
Blaster: 38/143
Yeah.
tl;dr: I beat Kanto in 1:30.
Name Species Nature Lvl HP Atk Def SpA SpD Spe Quilly Typhlosion Jolly 45 144 97 83 104 89 125 Ez Espeon Mild 49 137 82 74 177 104 130 Blaster Raikou Lonely 47 143 106 81 118 110 117 Inky Tentacruel Timid 44 125 67 76 83 121 108
Total time to finish: 7:41

And congrats to Manix of course. Surprised to see you had a tough time with Pidgeot considering the rest of Kanto didn't seem to give you much trouble, and your electric type is legendary. Moveset have Roost in it or something?

Quite possibly. Depends on how many Revives and X Items I can buy.Congrats on finishing, Manix. Are you planning to beat Red with that team?

There were some things that gave me trouble (Lt. Surge's Raichu: Double Team, Sabrina's Espeon: Calm Mind), but Pidgeot just hurt a lot. And I was already weakened from the rest of the fight, so it wasn't easy. It just spammed Return, actually. Also, being underleveled meant it outsped Blaster (Ez outsped it, for reference), so Blaster needed to be at full health to even hit the thing. And inaccurate Thunder's don't help the cause any.

Jigglypuff/Wigglytuff.
I probably won't end up finishing this, emulation issues are too annoying, wasting my time. So just RNG my picks or something.

Anyway, Blues, what was your pick? Your post says Drapion but the first post says Zapdos. Just wanted to know before I make my pick.
