Well, with the formation of a Final fantasy 4 draft, you'd probably think its time before one of VI would come up, right? Well, here we are.

Rules:

1. Drafted characters are used only. If some undrafted char is compulsory, knock him out.
2. You can go and try to take down Kefka if you want after Setzer and team assemble. You'll probably want to recruit you drafted characters though.
3. You can do optional sidequests too, like Cyan's dream. Note that it'll probably be a headache doing so if Cyan's not drafted.
4. Drafting order will be 12344321

Basically, you can draft anyone from the list I posted at any time (not like the FE4 drafts). The rules work the same as the FFIV incarnation. Lowest score (-1 for every level that a drafted character has that is less than the boss's level) wins.

As for optional bosses, you may fight them and they will be added to your score. So if I fight Yeti even with no intention of recruiting Umaro, it still gets added to my score. Your final score only becomes official after defeating Kefka but it freezes once you dispose of the Warring Triad.

FFVI isn't exactlly the best for a draft, I suppose. xD

Update the draft list.

To me, this is the only way you can fairly draft the game. For example, I can just pick Sabin for WoR and not have him during WoB and still be able to have him kick ass in WoR. It's your choice to how you want to run the game. Do you want to power up certain characters? Or do you know when to use who and how?

I think a 4 person draft is the best way to do it. Take out both of Shadow's appearances before the FC and that's 44 picks, 11 each. Each person should end up with at least 3 people for their final team (defeating the Warring Triad is kinda tough but it's very possible since I did it with horrible equipment on my Fewest Steps Run and posted it on here with screenshots) and about 7 or so during the WoB (when you're constantly switching characters).

Use this thread to study how certain bosses work, most notably Guardian and Demon. You'll probably need the Blood Sword for both of them but especially Guardian. You'll find it in the Collapsing House in Tzen so don't worry about having to steal it.

I tend to agree, I think more choices would be better. It just makes it easier to draft and say, "When is X available?" Well, this way you know for certain, and can plan your team better.

Locke - Free full South Figaro
Celes - Free vs. Tunnel Armour
Sabin - Free to Nikeah
Celes/Locke - Free to end IMRF
Terra/Locke - Free to end WoB
Celes - Free until your first WoR draft pick

Humbaba fight: This is a toughie since Humbaba snorts away 2 characters in place for Terra. So I think that you should be allowed 3 people at most, any undrafted to fill slots where drafted don't exist.

Really simple. Dungeons like Zozo or the Sealed Cave need at least 2 people since they can be that tricky. Everything else requires only 1 and the right equipment/spells.

I know this is a double post. But I'm doing it as a notification.

I'm going to the army on Sunday. I'll be back every 2/3 weeks or so. So I want to get this draft done.

Now, I can finish this kind of run in a single weekend so I'm not worried (I already know what I need to complete any given part). But I want to get the drafting part done today or tomorrow. So if General Horace doesn't show up, I'd like it if we can find someone else.

EDIT: Integrity is going to take General Horace's place. Simply because GH hasn't shown up for 2 days.
