Proto was planning to do a Draft of these, and we talked in IP Chat on how to do it.

Darros, Blitz, Proto, and I all drafted the GS1 parts of our draft.

We were drafting characters and summons.

-Each character is available twice
-Djinn and Classes are free
-You MUST transfer your data to GS2
-Any undrafted characters must be left dead.
-Jenna is free until you get your first drafted character in GS2, and free for Sol Sanctum is GS1.
-Undrafted Units may use Out-of-battle Psynergy and hold Djinn and items.
-You must lose the Karst Agatio fight. It does not count for points.

The win condition is a level system.

As you fight bosses, you will record your levels of your drafted characters. For example, the Saturos Fight on Mercury Lighthouse

If Isaac is level 8 and Mia is level 12, you get a score of 20 for the fight.

Deadbeard is optional and does not count.
Dullahan is optional and does not count, but Iris is free for all
Colosso Warriors in GS1 do not count towards your score, but Isaac may be at max level of your drafted units average. All summons are free for this fight.

The player with the lowest total score wins.

Player Characters Pure Summons Hybrid Summons
=================================================================================================
Proto Isaac Ivan Felix Piers Ramses Cybele Procne Megaera Moloch Daedalus
13th Garet Ivan Jenna Sheba Atalanta Meteor Boreas Zagan Flora Eclipse
Flint Isaac Mia Jenna Piers Nereid Neptune Judgment Coatlicue Azul Catastrophe
Darros Garet Mia Felix Sheba Kirin Tiamat Thor Ulysses Haures Charon

New stuff:

- Isaac and Garet are free for the Sol Sanctum (since it's so tough to kill them off)
- Ivan is free for the Bandit battle (since you can't begin with him dead)
- If a drafted unit is in the team, you can't exclude them from your score, even if you think you can solo a boss and leave other units dead. In other words, it's not gonna be wise to leave drafted units in the back team if you have no intention of using them.
- For parts when the sequence is not fixed, the player can choose their own sequence. It's up to you whether to face Saturos or Tret first, or Avimander or Serpent first, etc.
- Although undrafted units are to remain dead in battle, their Djinn can be utilized for summons.
- For scripted battles, undrafted units MUST be dead from the start no matter what.
- For random encounters, there are two exceptions. The first is that undrafted units can be revived to allow their Djinn to recover, but they must be killed off immediately after that. The second is that undrafted units can be revived for the purpose of manipulating the RNG to acquire rare item drops.
- For the Colosso, if you're not using Isaac, then you are permitted to grind Isaac only until he reaches the average of the levels of the two characters you're using.
- For Jupiter Lighthouse, you must let Agatio/Karst defeat you. I doubt anybody wants to have the Dark Matter or the experience anyway.
- Only Dullahan, Deadbeard, and the Book 1 Colosso warriors are excluded from the boss list. Other optional bosses like Toadonpa and the other three guardians must be faced.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!!!!
DUE TO BALANCING ISSUES, FIGHTING DJINN ARE NOW INCLUDED AS BOSSES AND WILL COUNT TOWARDS YOUR SCORE. AND TO ENSURE THAT ALL PLAYERS ARE AWARE OF THEIR LOCATIONS: I AM LINKING THE MASTER LIST OVER HERE: http://goldensun.wik...r_List_of_Djinn

Djinn with a (F) MUST be fought (when? doesn't matter) and your levels in those fights will count towards your score.

I don't think you can use the Djinns of a dead person

I just tested it. Yes, you can.

and I forgot to mention something
I AM DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMEEEEEEEEEEEED

You have Mia, which will be really helpful for every single lighthouse boss. And she can still go into the Hermit series like Ivan. I doubt you could be upset about having Isaac.

As for summons, not only can you use a Level 4 summon, but it's also of the same element as one of your characters. I'm the only one here that has no Level 4s...

Anyways, I finished the Prologue and Chapter 1, but I ran away from EVERY SINGLE BATTLE. Took some damage on the way but meh, Isaac had Cure. Made sure to take all of Jenna's equipment at some point. I'm done with Mt Aleph. Had Garet killed outside Vale. Refused Flint's offer seven times (man, he's persistent!) before he forced his way in. Went back to get a Nut. It won't be long before I face the first boss...

UPDATE!!! (normally, I'd make a new post, but it counts as double-posting here, so I'll just edit my previous post)

Entered Vault, talked to everyone. Sold all of Garet's equipment, bought Isaac the best equipment, including that axe. Couldn't afford the Magic Rod though. Anyways, recruited Ivan, used Mind Read on everyone. Found the thieves and...

Bandit+Two Thieves
Isaac - Level 1
Ivan - FREE
Score: 1
Total Score: 1

My Isaac was still at Level 1, but I managed to beat them in my first attempt! Isaac went something like Flint+Venus+Cure continuously, focusing both Flint and Venus on the left Thief, while Ivan kept casting Ray at all of them. Once the left Thief died, the rest seemed easier. Isaac died though (no exp, yay >_>), but Ivan was able to last just a little bit longer to finish off the rest.

So I'm stuck with Piers... Well, at least that means I can grind up Felix up for the first few bosses. But Lv 18 is too unnecessarily high...

In any case, Briggs is now going to be a nightmare with only a single person. Sorry, Clipsey!, but you're no longer my top priority right now.

I'm picking Megaera, because I don't foresee much issues with King Scorpion, and I need a Mars summon above Mars for Hydra and Poseidon.

UPDATE!!!

So I headed north, towards Goma Range, when I realized that Ivan joins at Level 4. My Isaac was Level 1 and I didn't want the levels to be uneven (it'd be annoying if I decide to grind Isaac later while Ivan gets extra exp). So I grinded Isaac to Level 4 and then got Ivan. Once again, I ran away from all the battles, except...

Forge
Isaac - Level 4
Ivan - Level 4
Score: 8
Total Score: 9

Uh... can't remember what I did but it wasn't too difficult.

After capturing Forge, I finished up Goma Range. I then entered Bilibin and wasted all of Ivan's PP on Mind Read. I got Gust though, and set it to Ivan. Not much equipment stuff, with the only significant change being Ivan getting a Witch's wand. I couldn't afford anything else after that.

Headed to Kolima, again running from all battles. I had Isaac do the healing instead of Seer!Ivan, because Ivan had low PP from Mind Read. Got Granite and left to Kolima Forest. Again, I ran away from every single battle. I ignored the Psynergy Stone, keeping it there just in case I needed to grind for Breeze/Tret, but I got everything else.

Breeze
Isaac - Level 4
Ivan - Level 4
Score: 8
Total Score: 17

Defeated it on my second attempt. Isaac was just Granite > Flint > Ramses > Cure. Ivan started by summoning Mars, and then kept using Gust and Jupiter, but it was annoying not being able to use Atalanta. After this battle, both Isaac AND Ivan gained a level. Apparently, the amount of EXP that Breeze drops is enough to cover the gap between Isaac's Lv 4 and 5.

And then...

Tret
Isaac - Level 5
Ivan - Level 5
Score: 10
Total Score: 27

Surprisingly not as troublesome as I feared it would be. He fell in my first attempt. Started with everything Standby and executed a summon rush to boost the elemental power. Again, Isaac kept using Granite and Flint, and followed them up with Ramses. Ivan used two Impacts on Isaac, and then starting using both Gust and Breeze, which may have been unnecessary due to Atalanta being excluded for me, but the Breeze might have played an essential role in their survival, idk. I also kinda got lucky at times, like Tret using Sleep Star when Isaac was at 1 HP. Oh, and the Sleep Star always failed. Anyhow, I finished the battle with both Isaac and Ivan alive, but Ivan gained another level and moved to Level 6. Makes sense, since he already had a head start over Isaac from the Bandit battle.

Name Lv/Exp Class HP PP Atk Def Agl Lck Djinn
================================================================================
Isaac 5/515 Knight 110 35 70 44 34 4 (Flint), (Granite)
Ivan 6/638 Magician 81 76 56 45 51 5 (Gust), (Breeze)

Name Weapon Head Shield Chest
=====================================================================
Isaac Battle Axe Open Helm Wooden Shield Travel Vest
Ivan Witch's Wand Circlet Leather Armlet Fur Coat
915 coins

Oh, yeah, and Forge is STILL recovering, which brings me to the conclusion that dead character's Djinn do not recover. Looks like I'll have to revive Garet and kill him off again...

I kinda did, but it wasn't really important back when I played normal runs, since I wouldn't leave anybody dead like that. So I guess I forgot about it until now, when it really matters.

So will the rules be adjusted? A clause like "Undrafted characters are free to defend when djinn are recovering off them and as soon as all djinn on them are recovered they must be killed" or something like that?

You can revive them outside battle, and have the Djinn recover outside battle, and then go into a single battle and kill the undrafted unit. But this means that the Djinn held by undrafted characters cannot recover DURING the battle/boss, which means those Djinn can only be summoned once. I don't see any problem with that, but I'll need to consult with 13th to clear it up.

More minor rule additions Proto and I are trying to balance this draft by making

-You MUST fight Toadonpa in Book 1
-Fight Djinn, or those you fight first, must be fought and counted for points.
-You must get all Fight Djinn and either all or 6 total of each element of Djinn at the end of Book 1, as per the Master List. You must have all 72 Djinn by the end of Book 2
-The Colosso Bosses do not count, and Isaac may be grinded upto the average level of your two units to fight them.

Master List: http://goldensun.wik...r_List_of_Djinn

Ignore the one involving Dark Dawn.
