Once she reached the ground floor, it was enough to notice the source of the commotion. Some other patrons - most of them people she hasn't seen before - were apparently fighting against something, she can't tell for sure, her head still dizzy from the hangover.
"What does it take for someone to get a god-damned night's sleep in here!?" She yelled out, annoyed.
As if to punctuate her annoyance, she pulled out the throwing axe dangling from her belt and hurled it at the mass of figures entering the place.

Sternblade flipped away the table, took his mighty great sword +1 and swung it intensely at one of the zombies.
OOC:
Hit roll: 10 + 4 = 14
Damage roll: 6 + 4 + 11 = 21

OOC: DC20, roll 4 + skill 8 = 12
Dwayne misses and tumbles to the floor. Frustrated yet emboldened, he launches himself at the same set of jumps.
OOC: DC20, roll 16 + skill 8 = 24
Dwayne lands clear of the crowd, and transitions into a dash to his room and gear.

OOC: Well, just know that my internet may be cut at any time for some days, but I'll try to reply to this thread as much as possible when I can.OOC: Perfect, now to wait for Rine.
ON:
Rine finished organizing his stuff on the room he rented in the Inn a couple minutes ago, and so he took the time to rest a bit on the bed, although he wasn't planning on sleeping: Going downstairs and asking for clues about his mother's hometown was a good idea, even if his assumption about his mother's whereabouts are wrong, since "Anything is better than nothing" in his philosophy.
However, the noise outside took him out of his rest, drawing the half-elf's attention to the footsteps outside. When he saw it, all Rine could do was watch the scene and wonder "What the fuck is going on?". Without wasting any time, he put his shoes on and left the room.
He struggled to make his voice be heard by someone, -anyone-, who could answer his question. "What's going on?! What are you all running from?!"

He ran towards his room, closed the door and proceeded to pick his stuff again before leaving permanently from the room.

The flow of people up the stairs continues, however their are far fewer people remaining downstairs, and the way should clear up soon.
OOC: Sternblade takes 10 damage as two of the attacks hit him (one does 7, the other does 3). There are three Zombies in front of Sternblade, and a bunch more behind them. It looks like the stairs will be clear in a round or two.

Rushing forward, Matthis proceeded to attempt to close the doors, forcing the zombies out with his strength while calling to anyone nearby, "You there warriors! Help me close these doors now! And some of you shut the windos!"
Action: Matthis attempts to close the door.

OOC: Rothene wanted me to roll for him, and he got 18+2 = 20 on his Strength check. You guys can act out of initiative order for now, as you're not really in combat anymore.

(Tamara casts Cure Light Wounds for 9, losing Detect Evil.)
OOC: I'm assuming I don't have enough time to cast Protection from Evil, as well? If I do, I'll cast that on Sternblade as well.

"Sir innkeeper! Frequent patrons, able-bodied persons, anybody with a clue to what's going on! Can I have a word?" Still not sure who's listening, Dwayne goes to the hallway and tries to make himself heard. "Is there any passage to the roof from here? If not, I can fashion a rope to the top. Tell me, even if it's a poor escape route, will the people who can't fight at least be somewhat safer up there?"

"You have my thanks. Your magical powers are quite profound, it would seem," he said, "but it also would seem the enemies are innumerable. It would be wise to escape from this inn...any way out, aside from the front door?"
OOC: Guess I should've made that an OOC question. Any windows or anything we can use to escape?
