Snike, can you give us a good solid reason why we should believe, say, that you're not more likely to turn on the trolls than Gamzee or whoever? You've proved impossible to investigate; JB can at least be investigated. We have only your word. Also can you really blame Strider for his continued wariness when he's one of your (maybe not even) two remaining known targets? Underline: I can win with the trolls and the kids, who are by far at a majority. I cannot win with Gamzee or whoever the serial killer is if I get my leg ripped off, however. Which is exactly what will happen if I were to go and backstab you guys. Bold: If you would read, I acknowledged why that inspect failed; I have a passive ability that negates one inspect. It should work tonight if there is no interference. Italics: Mr. Strider really should know that I do not have the power to kill twice, and that if I were to go for him, I'd get a rope around my neck. Would it have been so easy for me to Pesterchum someone, realise it's a troll and then ask "hey what's your wincon btw"? And besides, if I, hypothetically speaking, were the Serial Killer, why in the blue hell would I claim my own character? Wouldn't it be wiser to sit back until everyone else has claimed before throwing my own claim out? I did the exact opposite of that. I missed N1 because I had a camp and shit, so I didn't get my night action through. After tonight, I can tell you who I targeted, and I'll have proven my role. You would know there's Trolls in the game by virtue of you having to eliminate them. Someone messages you, and you ask them to tell you their wincon to "confirm" it with yours. It wouldn't be that difficult. Now, I am not saying this is definitely what happened. I am saying that it is definitely a possibility because Gamzee killed a lot of other trolls in canon, and I think dismissing the possibility is dumb. I am also going to second what Snike mentioned about safeclaims being another possibility and say that I had a safeclaim troll should I have wanted to attempt to blend in with the majority of the players (as we can see, I did not). scorri Posted March 19, 2012 Share Posted March 19, 2012 So, we apparently have everyone claimed as either Troll, kid, or Doc Scratch. This would seem to indicate that either we have people lying (seems like rather possible to me) or some of the trolls are renegade trolls (also possible). Based on the comic, the most likely troll to become renegade would be Gamzee. Now, I'm not saying we should lynch Aurora. I'm just saying it's something we should keep in mind. Gamzee was rather passive throughout the whole comic until suddenly he just went insane. It's possible that might happen. It's also possible that Doc Scratch will turn into Lord English. So, what I'm suspecting more than anything is that we have at least one person lying about their role. Honestly, my main suspect right now is Kay. You didn't claim your character until you were specifically called out to do so, at which point you knew who most of the claimed trolls were. You had a pretty good chance at not picking one that was in use, especially since at that point it was possible that there were still kids out there.
