Haha, it's nice to see a new member so happy with the forums! I dunno where it started and haven't seen much evidence for it at all, but a lot of people say new members are treated poorly here, so it's good to hear you've had a positive experience .

Yes; Serenes is the main site I frequent (I'm semi-active on Smogon, but I don't really post too often there). I wasn't too sure whether or not I'd fit into these forums at first, but after more than a year I think this is one of the sanest corners of the internet I've laid foot in.

It's a pretty cool place. Content wise, it's definitly my favorite. Even if I wasn't active on the forums, I would still use it for FE information that's very helpful :>

Community is ok. Sure, I haven't made any "omg lifetime longtime bffs forever" buddies here, but it's at least 95% accepting of people. Low-key, my favorite part of the forums is the Serious Discussion forum. The only other forum I went on that had a serious discussion forum was a Toontown Online forum, which turned out pretty badly (and eventually got me banned). On this one, I can actually read stuff, and you know, learn, and (generally) the people who discuss actually kinda know what they're doing/talking about :3. Have it be a little more active, and I'd probably spend most of my time on there >w<~.

Also, "Other members will be able to see what you chose!" i c wut u did thar.

I like Serenes Forest well enough. The main site is amazing, and the forum has sufficiently met my needs over the years as other message boards have come and gone. I think maybe we could do more to reach out to the community at large to bring in a more diverse and overlooked set of people, and I think that maybe the staff could be a little bit more active. Outside of that though, I don't have much to complain about. :3

Although I still haven't even been here for a year yet, SF is amazing! I'd say that the time I've spent here so far definitely has made me happy to be around and actively online. Active boards with a nice layout and great members. Even on days I don't post anything, I can just sit back and chill.

SF is literally the only forum I visit on a daily basis.

It's like my internet home.

My house is close to FftF, but not so close that I'd associate myself with the area.

Might get stabbed there if you're not careful.

Haha, that's not what I mean. Otherwise why add a "no" option :P? Just meant it wasn't a place to complain about your social issues.

Plus if you have legitimate suggestions and complaints it's what the ticket system is for. They were only allowed previously because tickets weren't implemented yet :P.

I've been using the main site for years. Whenever I want to know something about Fire Emblem, I come here. I like how well organized everything is and nothing is really hidden, which is nice. You guys have done a great job!

I'm fairly new to the forums, only joining about a month ago. I had lurked for months and months, but I never really felt the need to join the community until I had the urge to start getting into some discussions. I love how this isn't fire emblem ONLY. I've learned a lot of stuff from the people here, and maybe in my short time here I might have made someone think about a thing or two.

I honestly feel warmly accepted here. Everyone I've talked to or that has replied to my posts have been pretty chill. Everyone says the place isn't nice to newbies, so I guess I got lucky haha.

Overall I'd say I'm generally satisfied with the site as a whole.

The content and info stuff is fantastic. I also like the skins/layout of the forums.

The community is fine. I'm not the most active poster, but outside of some tier debates I've never really felt ostracized, and even then I didn't really care because of who I was arguing with.

Sometimes I get annoyed but what I see as over-modding, but my philosophy is always to be a little more lax about things like locking threads/off-topic posting/other stuff. Difference in viewpoint I guess.

But yeah, overall I'd say I'm happy with the site. Ever since I stopped really posting on FEABL and GFaqs, this is pretty much the only forum I really frequent.

Is there a darker skin on here? I prefer dark skins and I haven't seen a skin changer anywhere.

It's a bit drab. I don't feel strongly one way or the other. Needs a neutral option specifically for me. Make no mistake, though, I like the people (a bunch of them, at least) but the forums and the discussions and etc. just don't do a lot to interest me.
