I've been trying to insert my custom prologue over the FE7 prologue and I alternate between having no results and a destroyed map behind the four units in the chapter.

I'm trying to put the map at the offset DA0000, using the tileset 91009293.

The map is 29 by 26 tiles.

I either get no result at all, or I get what is pictured below.

um, make sure that the map object, configuration, and palettes match your tileset.

That's pretty damn funky. You changed the tile data and object sets and palette and graphics and whatnot in the Chapter Data Editor?

Did you expand the rom and put the map in free space?

Not gonna lie, that map looks pretty slick. Hopefully it gets implemented properly.

Do you have Nightmare Open at the same time as the map inserter? Because if you insert it with the map inserter and then SAVE on Nightmare without Opening the ROM again first, it will be as if you never inserted with the map inserter at all.

Its mostly free space after that. I picked DA0000 because it was in Arch's tutorial

Hmm... My only suggestion is to open the rom in HxD and see if there's still free space after it, if there isn't chances are you overwrote something. If there is then I have no idea. :/:

Personally what Rey (shadowofchaos) said is most likely imo. Would probably cause an error something like that.

are you sure you are using an FE7 tileset? and did you export with the size restrictions in the MAR Inserter?
