Ok, this works like this:

You write a what if about fire emblem that looks like this:

What if:

Then you answer the post of the person above you with a theory of your own about that. if you want, you can ask the same question as the last person to get another opinion. Here is mine.

What if:

Lyn's parents didn't die and didn't let her go with Mark? Would she have gone anyway?

She probably would've went anyway, since she's rebellious like that. :P

What if...

Raven accepted Hector's suggestion to revive House Cornwell and became the marquess?

then we would have another faction to contend with in FE6, and perhaps another fire headed boy who can straight up kill people in one hit. XD

What if:

Mark could marry Lyn in FE7? Would this affect the storyline of FE6 at all?

Probably not, mostly because Lyn doesn't do much other than bear children storywise.

If Zephiel was killed, then perhaps the demon king would have been stopped for a few years. Perhaps the characters from FE7 would have lived full and happy lives, and their children's children would carry on the burden that was destined for their fathers.

What if:

Hector's brother, Uther, did not die from the sickness that ailed him?

There's a chance Hector would have remained the same as he was, then again it was the journey with Eliwood to stop Nergal which made him mature, so he could also help his brother to rule Lycia.

What if:

Shiharam had surrendered in the battle he had against Ike and company?

Then his territory would have been saved, and his daughter would have been happier.

What if:

Eliwood had left a day earlier and had never met Mark the tactician? Would Rebecca and Mark leave her village to follow them and catch up later? Would Eliwood even survive?

I think Eliwood would have been wounded and unable to battle, no major loss. And that would have spared us one of the lamest lords to ever be spawned. I think that Rebbecca's father might not have let her go with Mark. he would have had to go alone.

What if:

The Earthquake in FE8 was not forseen and Lyon's father didn't get sick? Would Lyon still have ended up under the Formortiis' arm later?

Lyon wouldn't have been desperate to find a cure for his father, and so wouldn't have concentrated so much on making the Dark Stone.

What if Valter hadn't taken Duessel's lance?

I guess that's the end of the Tellius series as we know it. Either Titania or Mist would've taken over as the leader of the Greil Mercenaries. I suppose they will still try to save Crimea. Also, some characters in FE9/10 may not have ever joined up if Ike were not there.

Dayan was present in FE7's story and fought alongside his son and other playable FE7 characters?

Not much would have happened differently. maybe Rath would have gone with his father instead of joining a mercenary band.

Larchel had rushed down the cliff near Za'ha Woods in FE8?

Then Sigurd could've joined Manafroy's side and helped revive Loputus (I may be wrong, but he seems willing to serve Alvis, who is on their side) And Celice might've gone up in arms to oppose this, and might've killed his own father. Or Loputus does not get revived. Netherless, Sigrud wouldn't have died for ages afterwards.

(What if Griel and Elena hadn't left Daein (Because Lilia had not given Elena her medallion) and had still willingly served Ashnard. )

Either Greil would have stayed in Daein and Ike would've become a soldier of Daein, or Greil and Elena would have fled eventually with or without the medallion.

What if

Bern had invaded Ilia first instead of Sacae, so that the situation occurring in the two countries were reversed?

Nothing would change much from the final outcome. Only the times in which they occurred.

Ninian and Nils actually knew Nergal was their father?

Then they'd have even more of a reason for crossing the gate when Nergal called to them. Perhaps they'd even try to remind Nergal who they are. Most likely it'll fail, though.

Then Lyn either would've had to blindly find her way to Lundgren or would have to sit around helplessly.

Sigurd survived the Battle of Barhara?
