Given how disturbingly artificial TES is, ESPECIALLY the NPCS, I question the idea anyone there is a "person", but that's a topic for another day.

What is on topic is how Skyrim just made any NPC the player can enter a romantic relationship with bi-sexual (or at least player-sexual), which I feel is a cheep cop-out.

I think the only games I've played with a gay main character (that weren't just hopping on the "Make every love intrest bi-sexual for inclusive points") are the Swordcraft Story games, GrimGrimoire and Fear Effect 2 (which was done PURELY for a love triangle over a love arrow...).

Mass Effect has characters with pretty fixed sexual preferences. Only a few males and females will enter into homosexual relationships.

But I agree that having every character with no sexual or romantic preference is hardly much of an improvement over having all characters be straight (which is at least a realistic approximation of a medieval society).

Only Mass Effect 3, and of the 2 in there, the ONLY characterization Cortez gets is "dead husband dead husband dead husband" (being friends with another party member and being a good pilot aren't personality). The reporter is more sensible, making a comment about liking a female voice and saying it if you ask for sex, but damn is whatshisname horrible. If Cortez was whineing about a dead wife or female and whining about a dead husband, no one would hesitate to say they are an awful character. Plus Bioware did both of those before (KotOR and BG2 respectively, though Carth is by FAR the worst of the two), so the only thing that makes him remotely original as far as Bioware characters go is "gay".

Kelly Chambers in 2/3, Traynor in 3 and Kaidan in 3 can also have a homosexual relationship with Shepard. Though I think you're being a little rough on Steve, I agree that there could have been a little more to him, but I'd say at least those characters were executed fairly well. Kelly at the least was fairly open about her bisexuality, and Traynor got a little flustered by Allers' "feminine looks" and EDI's voice.

Like I said before, Kelly is "player sexual", which is probably the worst way of handling it EVER.

Given I could make a lesbian Shepard, I don't necessarily see what being bisexual has to do with the player. Kelly also didn't just randomly flirt with Shepard regardless of the circumstances, she had a line about believing anybody should be considered potentially worthy of love, aliens included. That sounds to me like it was a character-driven statement, if a politically correct one.

No, I'm pretty sure that every character in Mass Effect 1 and 2 have fixed sexual preferences except the Asari. Which is a good thing, I think. I mean, out of the two potential human partners in Mass Effect 1, what are the chances that one of them would be gay? Pretty damn low.

The warm glow lights and the sweaty forehead rub always make me think Kaiden/male shep is going to start in ME1 though.

I'm a fan of bishounen homoerotical incidents only, cause they look like females so it's fine to me.

Also, ShotaxShota or ShotaxMature Bishonen, why not? As long as it's drawn and they look females with pingas.

I really normal-porn art of Poison from Final Fight and Bridget from Guilty Gear because of this. Also, Shinon from King of Fighters XI and Lucius from Fire Emblem 7.

And I'm very straight, still, can't unfap before those.
