It's improved a bit, I think; the nose has been changed to FE8 style, the eyebrows that the FE8 sprites sport have been added, the face/hair shading now uses colors from a FE8 character, the robe has been shaded a little bit (although it still needs fixing, methinks), and the centerpiece is now an amethyst (purple for the dark magic user, ofc). Hair still needs to be FE8-ified. I'll likely post a request for touching up and advice from the spriters' board.

P.S.: I can't really use the sprite talked about because I want it to match the Shaman(F) animation, which has LONG brown hair and a blue robe. I might just put in Eclipse's shading, but it didn't work too well with the slight alterations to the shape of the robe (plus, I suck at shading).

I started playing around with your sprite. It's still quite rough, but if you think it might be something you'd want, I can finish and smooth it out
And of course, anyone else can use this to build on as well.

She still needs a bit of work here and there (mostly her outfit) and she doesn't have her frames or her chibi, but it's like 4 AM so no more spriting for me tonight. ~_~

I realize now that trying to use Brammimond's robe was likely a mistake, due to how it makes her look too burly.
Well, this whole thing has made me feel like a worthless piece of shit when it comes to art...lol.

While it's by far the most likely to get used at this point, I looked at the details of your sprite to see what errors I had; it was mostly minor things that added up. I hope you don't mind -- it really helped me to nearly finish off the crappy one I was doing. Anyways, a side-by-side:

EDIT: Her left eye is still a little screwed up with the new bangs; it'll get fixed.

Look, KoT, you are not going to fix it. Ditch your crappy sprite and go with Kon's one.
I was planned to, anyways. I just hoped to improve it, is all, but it looks like it won't happen.

Kon's should think about losing the giraffe neck, as well as the trauma her neck was subjected to in order to wrench her head to such an uncomfortable angle ._.

As you can see, I'm still crap at shading cloaks. I might need some help with this a bit, 'cause referencing the other cloaked sprites aren't helping me much.
