This topic will contain our random crap when messing with the RAM in the GBA FE games, as well as how to replicate it with the addresses.

FE7 Arena Fight related crap in RAM:

0203A800: 0x01 = Close Ranged Fight, 0x02 = Ranged Fight (like Archers)

0203A80E: Player Weapon
0203A80F: Player Weapon Durability
0203A810: Enemy Weapon
0203A811: Enemy Weapon Durability

0203A814: Enemy Name [16-bit] [it's actually a 32-bit pointer, but it's BE 08 for everything]
0203A818: Enemy Class [16-bit] [it's actually a 32-bit pointer, but it's BE 08 for everything]

0203A81C: Enemy Level
0203A81D: Experience [These two don't really do much but display. lol]

0203A826: Enemy Max HP
0203A827: Enemy Current Hp [Only matters before the battle]

Enemy Stats are after this... Str, Skl, Spd, Def, Res, and Luck respectively.

If I understand hacking enough, and if my acronym knowledge is correct, it's Random Access Memory hacking. What that entails from my personal guesses, is messing with the addresses of certain bits of data in the game, and editing it, or not doing so. Cam, Rey, or anyone who knows more about it, please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

Think "Gameshark", "Codebreaker", "Action Replay", etc.

Except I can actually see what I'm modifying on the GBA.

Not that I know of... at least for the FE GBA Games. The one who definitely RAM hacks a lot for FE9 and FE10... Goldie. XD

She's the one that got me started on hacking crap for Radiant Dawn.

I've hacked 6-8 & 10, but never anything all that interesting, I don't know what I'd really contribute to this topic...

What about Ryru and I? We memory hack :( though I only use it for testing purposes usually, not so I can make witty videos or eventually do ASM hacks. I can never think of any meaningful ASM hacks that aren't super hard. >_> not to mention I lost all my set of programs I used to compile ASM hacks and could never seem to remember which ones I had so I could actually get them back. <_<

EDIT: And Xeld and Nintenlord, though I think they RAM hack for ASM purposes...
