Well, that was good for now, with the dragon floundering in the water as it fell. If she had her gun at this point, at the very least she could have taken a pot shot at the beast, but as was, jumping in the water axe-drawn would most certainly end badly.
Following Raquel's lead, Lisandra entered the Dauntless behind the merchant.

So one dragon was down, but there was still one other to watch out for. John turned to see where it was when something else caught his attention.
''Look over there...'' He told the others. There was dark magic over one of the port ships. That wasn't a good sign. ''Anyone has an idea what could it be?''

As the battle against the Rebels began, Chelsea thought it might be a good idea to get inside, lest she be killed by the cannon-fire.
When inside the ship, the troubadour ran through the hallways of the Leverager in a panic, only to find an un-occupied room and duck in there. As she entered the room and closed the door behind her, Chesea took to a corner and breathed heavily. This lasted for awhile.

Sophia was there to greet Raquel as she and Lisandra arrived. "I'm here to give a gun to a child and hope for the best." Not saying it like that ... no way. "She wants a gun to protect herself in case we get boarded. I've got Chip, so I'm not as worried, but I think we're going to stay in or around here just the same." she explained in her own way. She looked to the shelves and saw the musket her father owned and figured that wasn't the best option. She pointed to a pistol, so she probably wanted a pistol. She reached over and grabbed the only pistol that was among the firearms and looked it over. It would function just fine, she figured as she looked it over. No dust, no damaged parts, no rust, and the inside of the barrel was clean enough for use. "Okay, hold this for a second while I find the other stuff you'll need."
Outside, the crewmen on the main deck stopped most of what they were doing and looked over the guardrails at the dragon swimming near the ships. The dragon swam away from the ships heading west, seeming to want to stay in the water for some reason. The men on the ballista were trying to find a way to shoot him with hit, but with the way things were currently, if they fired now, the dragon was far enough away to dive underwater and avoid it. One of them figured out that that was the point. While he was in the water, the ballista was useless. "Dammit! He's getting away!"
"Focus on that other group coming." Bogdan ordered as he turned his attention away from Grabacr. As soon as Grabacr was at a comfortable distance from the two ships, he began beating his wings down hard and slowly making his way out of the water. He quickly pointed his head straight downward and blasted the waves with an enormous fire attack that from the main deck of the Leverager looked like a cloud of fire that the dragon was lying on top of. Within a few seconds, the small boost left a plume of steam rising into the sky and Grabacr flew up high into the air, roaring the whole way up.
"... why couldn't it have just drowned? Ugh." muttered the helmsman.
The men down on the gun deck were having similar thoughts. And that's when Shadrak showed up. "Okay, what the hell is going on up here? We're not being boarded or something, are we?"
"Nah ... just lost a gun to that beast and got nothin' for it." a gunner clarified.
Back up on the main deck, one of the spotters called out. "Hey! We've got more friendlies! Three of'em!"
"Hmm?" Bogdan looked over the starboard side of the ship to see a fluyt and two sloops heading north as fast as the wind would take them, but one of the sloops seemed intent on escaping while another engaged the ships along with the fluyt and destroyed them. It was a spectacular sight, with entire decks exploding as barrels full of powder ignited. Men were sent flying overboard. Bogdan finally let a small grin of hope appear on his face. They still had some very powerful ships looming nearby, but they might just make it out of here alive.
Soon, the Dark Utka was under attack again, and this time it was a very effective one. The ship was bombarded by heavy cannons and incendiaries which resulted in a series of fires on the forecastle and main deck. The men scrambled to put the fires out while Bogdan watched fearfully from a distance. He felt helpless then and there. "Dammit ..."
Everyone Else
The Diligence saw the signal and began a more 'friendly' approach to the Brandish. If there were any people aboard capable of repairing the ship at sea, they would have been to work already, so the captain ordered his earth mages to do what they could to get the ship in working order again as they approached. The sloop accompanying the Brandish got a disturbing signal from the Brandish as well. They were to cease fire. The Clipper also got the same message and reluctantly entered the area without firing another shot.
The Diligence soon came up alongside the Brandish and they set up several planks for crewmen to cross over on. The mages considered the ship Fox's, so they couldn't care less about the mean looks they were getting.
"Mighty quick, aren't they ..." the captain noted angrily.
"At least they're helping us to repair the ship." the quartermaster shot back quickly and quietly. Suddenly, one of the mages intentionally bumped into the captain, nearly knocking him aside with her shoulder before turning around with a cocky grin.
"Watch where you're going!"
"Why don't you make me, captain? It is your ship, isn't it? Oh right, I forgot. It looks like you're just a pawn for the time being. Oops~" And with that, she walked off to catch up to the others. The captain was practically fuming by this point, but the quartermaster placed a hand on his shoulder saying "Let it go."

“Um…” Katrina spent a few more moments in the air, going over her options. Originally she was just going to fly back to port, but with enemy wyvern riders closing in, she might not make it back alone. The safest option for now would be to stay with this ship. She landed Volga on deck but didn’t dismount, in case the opportunity to leave presented itself again.

Bogdan continued to watch as the men aboard the Dark Utka fought to put out the fires before they caused any more damage, but it wasn't a quick process. When John landed, his team seemed to have an additional rider nearby. Talitha landed up on the crow's nest much to the surprise of the sailor watching the battle from up there. Mandy landed on the main deck right beside the Dauntless, and John's news could mean only one thing. "The rebels talked them down ..." He quickly turned to his helmsman and yelled "Get us through that gap as fast as possible!" He then flailed his arms to get the quartermaster's attention. "READY THE GUNS!!! ... just in case!" he ordered as he looked out to the patrol ship that had just pulled ahead of them. They couldn't block the view of any signals coming from the other ships; there were no obstructions now that it was ahead of them.
Fortunately he turned to see that the Dark Utka's fires had been contained, though there were still embers being beaten out with wet cloth. Filat kept the ship going despite the attack, and the Leverager only had to keep up.

Ready Spotter Seven and the Wolfen. This is far from over ..."

They've finally reached the breach, but now it was a matter of actually crossing through, considering they had rebel ships on both sides. And even so, there was the matter of being followed afterwards, though with the ramifications of the rebels having involved Tremere it was highly likely they wouldn't had the whole fleet after them, so it was a plus.... to them. Not so much for the port town.
So John walked back to where Gil was. ''Looks like we made it out of yet another tight spot huh,'' he said, taking off his helmet to put it away before leaning against the wyvern, who just grunted in reply. ''I suppose it could've been worse,'' he turned to see over to where the Utka was, which was now almost free from the fire. Further gazing made him see Katrina who had landed on the ship too.

"To be honest, I don't know," Katrina replied. "I don't think I'll be able to fly back. Do you think the captain will mind if we hang around...?" She didn't want to impose, but under the circumstances she really had no choice. Hopefully Volga wouldn't do something they would regret later. For now, the wyvern seemed content to lounge on the deck.

Katrina climbed down from Volga’s back, and the wyvern promptly lay on its side. “Well, I supposed I’m stuck for the moment then,” she answered, scratching her head. “Do you think you could explain to me what’s going on? Why are the rebels chasing this ship?”

Well, now was the time. ''I don't see why not, especially if you will be here for quite a while,'' John said. ''So two days ago we attacked one of their own ships, and liberated it's cargo. Said cargo happens to be a couple of dragon hatch-lings and eggs. The rebels go to these lengths to acquire them, and this ships takes on the job to stop that. That's why they came here, to recover them.''
