He does, the quality difference is head-scratchingly strange and disheartening.
I hope none of the other lords go through that ^^'. Why does Micaiah have no clear background? The rest of them do ^^'.

Hell, I don't even like Micaiah that much, but what she was in FE10 is leagues better than being transformed into downs-face, Boobs McFanservice.
And so what if that's what female dark mages wear in the game, if she's DLC at least give her a sprite something new or unique? Also look at Alm and Leaf, they got outfits/redesigns that actually matched who they were in some way.

Not really. The DLC character art is drawn by different artists, and... I'm really not sure how people can hold Alm's art up as anything even remotely good. Sure, Micaiah's artwork isn't good at all, but Alm looks more like Lyn with short hair and armor. He does, the quality difference is head-scratchingly strange and disheartening.

Her in game portrait will just be her face( probs a completely different artist) and all you will see if her uniform is just like the female dark Mage outfit.
.... No one complained about sariyas one so……

Yeah, he's got some really weird legs. That said, each lord being drawn by someone else is actually pretty cool, if only because we got Drakengard Roy.Not really. And all of them, artwise, are leagues better than what Micaiah has anyway. Waist being size of head (actually looks even smaller but due to angles I'll give that the benefit of the doubt), an extremely unlikely pose, and that ridiculous neck in addition to a lack of nose. What is she, Voldemort now?

Because the artist actually drew a background for her official art? Her in game portrait just has the clear background though.
Her in game art is the upper part of that picture but with a clear background. You can see it if you look at the official site for the game. All these guest drawings are used as the portraits for the in-game DLC characters, they aren't just random guest art.Her in game portrait will just be her face( probs a completely different artist) and all you will see if her uniform is just like the female dark Mage outfit.

At most his right leg is a bit large. His pose is anatomically fine, he has nice looking armor, and it doesn't rape his previous imagery.

Marth: Senri Kita of the Tellius games took care of Marth. He fits in with the rest of the game, is considerably different than his old appearance, and looks pretty nice IMO.
Leaf: Sachiko Wada of Sacred Stones handled Leaf. The illustration fits Leaf pretty well and looks like something right out of Sacred Stones. Leaf's design in itself has enough throw-backs to his previous appearance that it doesn't shock anyone that it's Leaf wearing a new out-fit. I like this one.
Roy: Kimihiko Fujisaka (one of my favorite artists) of The Last Story took care of this guy. I have to say, this redesign doesn't really look like Roy at all. Whether it's because of his style or he just decided to take some liberties with his appearance I don't know. Regardless, I love this illustration. Here, he took a few cues from Roy's old design with the cape and head-band and mixed them up with this games Mercenaries while tying in Roy's Lord-status all in one. The problem is that he tricked Roy out a bit too much. all of the little details and such were just not going to be present in game and got players expectations through the roof only to have them hit the ground when we saw his model. In the end, I wouldn't mind a Fire Emblem with character designs by this guy. I'd welcome it even.
Alm: HACCAN took care of this guy. The style of this piece doesn't really look like Fire Emblem (and I'm oddly reminded of Trunks each time I look at him). That aside, I like the piece. His armor is nice and detailed and isn't absurdly ridiculous with it's details. His design stays really true to his original appearance though and if you compare some old art of Alm with this, you'll see it right away.
Micaiah: Rco Wada's illustration is...yeah. I think it's been talked about enough in this thread. I'll just say that they could've taken some more liberties with her appearance and given her custom colors (as and Leaf got) at the very least. I've a feeling that if she had a different illustration the back-lash wouldn't be so bad for her.
